My Moto G7 won't pair with Bluetooth suddenly

I have 2 Bluetooth headphones have enjoyed using them for listening to mp3 files on my phone. Suddenly (out of the blue - seemingly)  the headphones won't pair.  I also tried to pair my Bose Soundlink a couple of weeks back - unsuccessfully. 

When I try to find help online I find that I'm told to go to places on my phone that don't exist - possibly outdated advice.

Any advice.

Thank you for reaching out.  The first thing we recommend is to make sure the device is updated with the latest software.  If it is, try to restart the phone but make sure when you power it off you leave it off for 6 minutes or more.
