I bought my 3.1 Plus directly from Cricket a couple of months ago. It's now showing its up to date with 00N0_1_26E. I've had 2 updates since then so I'm not sure if it came out of the box with that update or if it was done within the 2 updates I received since purchasing the phone.
Nokia hmd global are violating laws with the Nokia 3.1 plus and Google will not be offering security updates due to these law violation and there for cricket Wireless should not be selling this phone. If you would like a link to this article I can post the link
it will never be updated as well Nokia is violating some laws with the Nokia 3.1 plus in the US and Google is not going to offer any security updates and Cricket Wireless should not be selling the phone at all because of Nokia violating the law if you would like to read more about it I can post a link for it
My security outdated too
No the update did nothing my issue with the phone as the security updates have been expired since December 1st despite Nokia pushing out security updates for the phone I have yet unreceived any and that cannot log into my phone workplace Enterprise because of security credentials being expired

We saw your post earlier regarding the software update on your phone. I sent your information to  to our IT team and we were able to push the update to your phone. Did this resolve your issue?

Thanks.

I'm tired of companies like Cricket Wireless getting away with unethical practices in the people that use their service should be outraged about this Cricket Wireless would not be here if it was not for the consumer what cricket Wireless is doing to their consumers is very unethical and they should not be allowed to continue this
Not even to mention that the the security credentials for the phone have been outdated since December 1st

Dude...... im just trying to help you out customer to customer.

Walk into a store and ask if you can switch out the device. I hope you find a fix for it.

It doesnt automatically push it without you going through and enabling the update. You have to be on wi-fi and you must confirm all of the pop up notifications. May thats where things went south. I would suggest doing a manual update using the instructions above.

I have read that and I have done that I have been in the it business now for 10 years I am not a moron I know how to read system updates and notices my phone meets every criteria for the updates but it's still not being pushed out to my phone therefore Cricket Wireless is withholding updates

Got it. Thanks for the extra information. I went to the Cricket website and looked at the user guide for your phone ( https://www.cricketwireless.com/support/devices-and-accessories/nokia-3-1-plus--device-support/customer/device-support.html ). There is a step by step guide that show you how to update the software on the phone.

Per the website it confirms what you are saying: "Effective 2/13/18, a new software update (00N0_1_26E) will be available for those Nokia 3.1 Plus customers who have software version 00N0_1_26C on their phone. This update provides general bug fixes and other software updates.

Check out this link  to see how to update it manually or once you receive a notification.

Hey @Inderstalvnv !

Cricket doesnt withhold system updates unless its their apps or network specific applications. It sounds like you may need to do an update from the manufacturer. Nokia just updated the Android Pie software on its Nokia 3.1 Plus devices. That may be the update thats needed. I would suggest restarting the phone while it is connected to Wi-fi. Additionally you may want to check your "settings" menu for a software update.

I hope that helps!

I am unable to use my phone because of incorrect security credentials and I have to wait around for you to release stuff what am I supposed to do with my phone now look at it like a brick because I can't use its you should not be able to decide when stuff gets released if there is an update you should release it immediately not when it is convenient for you you should not be able to cell phones that are not properly updated it should be against the law

Hello @Inderstalvnv

Cricket branded phones will receive updates when we release them. If it is an unlocked version you'll need to receive the update from the manufacturer.
