Why does your update download gaming apps on my phone? I don't play games on my phone and never have. Are these tracking apps? If it happens again I will go to the nearest cricket store and attach a brick to this phone and send it back. Thanks have a great day.

Hi @ghost and welcome to the Community Forum! Software updates are pushed to your phone from the manufacturer, not your wireless carrier. We recommend deleting any unwanted apps. Please note that if you’re using a Cricket phone, you will not be able to uninstall the myCricket app, but you can disable it. 

 

Delete apps by:

  1. Opening the Google Play Store app .
  2. At the top right, tap the Profile icon.
  3. Tap Manage apps & devices. Manage.
  4. Tap the name of the app you want to delete.
  5. Tap Uninstall.
