Unlock a phone that is paid in full

I have a new Cricket Acct that is under 6 months old. On this acct, I purchased a Moto G Stylus phone which is paid in full. I am only paying for the service at this point. How do i go about unlocking the phone?

Hello @Midtyekeberg! Most Cricket phones can be unlocked through the MyCricket app. For our devices to be eligible for unlock, the device needs to have had at least 6 months of service with Cricket Wireless.Ā

  1. Sign out of the app if youā€™re signed in.
  2. TapĀ Unlock DeviceĀ on the appā€™s sign-in screen.
  3. TapĀ UnlockĀ at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Once your phone is successfully unlocked, restart it to complete the process.
