WIFI vs. DATA

I have a TCL30z phone.  The pictures aren’t downloading on the text.  Do I need to turn off WIFI and turn on data for that to happen.  Also when I am away from the house and want to use the phone for calling or text do I need to turn off WIFI and turn on data to do that.

Hi @donnastutzman and welcome to the Community Forum! If you’re pictures aren’t downloading in your text messages, you may want to try toggling off your WiFi and try using your Mobile Data connection only. If you toggle off your Mobile Data, you are no longer connected to the Cricket network, and you won’t be able to make/receive calls unless you’re using WiFi Calling. We recommend checking to make sure your phone’s software is up-to-date. If you continue to experience issues with your picture messages, please send us a PM to @CricketSupport and include your wireless number and the complete address where you’re experiencing issues.

Thank you for your response. This phone is new to me and different than my last one. I have wifi calling on so do I turn that off when I turn on data to download pictures or leave it on as well.
