When will unlocked phones that have 5g capabilities be able to use the 5g network? I have a Samsung S20 Ultra Unlocked, from Samsung. Please don't respond with a list of 5g compatible phones or a map of the 5g coverage as I have gotten that response almost every time I've asked. Thanks so much!

Just wondering why my note 20 is not compatible. I purchased from Samsung about 6 months ago. I put the imei in the search and says it won't work. Also have a note 10 that comes up the same. These are top notch phones and are 4g lte phones. Why is cricket doing this and are they going to make everyone purchase a cricket phone now?

Hi,I got my Google Pixel 6a phone today, and was super excited to try it out, but after inserting my cricket wireless sim, I got an SMS saying this model is not supported by Cricket.I got on a call with customer service, and provided them with my IMEI number, but all they said is they do not support this model.Does anyone know if cricket will support Pixel 6a or how long does it usually take Cricket to support a new device? I need to decide if I should be returning my Pixel 6a :(

I have a 2019 Alcatel that I am trying not to loathe. I only use my phone for actual phone stuff, and to watch YouTube news programs. I also have the hotspot app so I can use my computer for actual computer stuff like research and email. I live where there is a signal (usually 3-5 bars) but NO WIFI. Which evidently is required for the automatic software updates I get. Constantly. They interrupt a news show, a text message I am in the middle of, etc. They are a constant banner on my screen when I turn it on. And I have zero access to public wifi. How do I turn off the Automatic Cricket Software Updates????? (yes, a little frustrated here) thanks :)
Hello,I just bought a new LG Harmony 4 phone and I am not receiving text notifications. That is, I don't receive an audible tone or vibration or screen message when a text message arrives. I do get the text messages, but no notification of them. I have tried to adjust the notification settings for the Messaging app, but I am only able to receive notifications if the screen is on. That is, when the phone is on standby with the screen off, I do not get the text message notifications.I realize that this is a new model, and that the behavior may be a software bug. Can you help me to fix or work around this problem?Thank you.
I have a Samsung Z fold 2. I have not been able to call out or receive calls for 3 days now. I've had Samsung look at the phone and they say it is a carrier issue. I've put a friend's SIM card in my unlocked phone, and hers works in my phone. Cricket can't seem to give me answers. Anyone else??
I own an Apple 11 on Cricket. I am not receiving some texts and they only appear on my phone when I restart it. I had some contacts send me over 8 texts over a few days, I received none of them, restarted my phone, and they all immediately arrived.I receive some texts just fine, but some will not arrive at all. How do I fix this? Texting is my most used function on Cricket and it is not working.Thank You.
I have a Galaxy S10e, and per Cricket’s page, it is compatible after the 3G sunset. But two days ago it stopped making/receiving calls. Everything else works; text, data, GPS, WiFi, etc, but it won’t make calls, and when someone calls me it goes straight to voicemail, which I can’t get either because I can’t make a call. I never reecived notice from Cricket that I would have an issue with the 3G sunset, which is supported by the fact that my phone is compatible per Cricket’s “3G Sunset” page. I talked w/ Tech Support and after a half-hour, they were able change my LTE to H+ And I was able to make calls, but that only lasted an hour. As soon as I drove away from my house my phone reverted to LTE and I couldn’t make any calls. I stopped at the Burien Cricket store and the lady there told me that my phone isn’t compatible and that Cricket is offering free comparable phones for people affected by the 3G sunset, though then she told me I’m not eligible for some reason. I posted the other day about my girlfriends dream 5G which she has had for close to 2 months that has worked amazingly well, until the other day. Cricket came on here and marked the issue as resolved which it has not been resolved. We have PAID OUT MY POCKET for a new sim card when we were told that was the solution that we needed to do, Why I had to pay 10 bucks and some change for that, is beyond me. The problem we are having is the data connection will drop out every 5 mins or so and will not come back on unless you either turn the phone on and off, reset network settings, or airplane mode on and off and every time it comes back, the best we have got is 15 mins out of it. I have called the overseas tech support they use and have to go through the same damn troubleshooting steps every damn time only for them to think they got it fixed when it is still acting up soon as the call is over, I was told to submit a warranty claim on it which I followed the link in my last post and when I e
Less than 2 months ago I bought a new Nokia 3.1 Plus running Android Pie. So far I've been able to download 2 updates with no problems. Yesterday another one popped up and I haven't been able to download it. I keep getting this message "Previous DM session is still working. Please try again later." I searched online, didn't find much. I did find that DM stands for Device Management and supposedly means something running in the background. I turned off all of my backups. Still the same message. Has anyone ran into this problem before? Or anyone have a fix? Cricket CS was no help as usual and told me to contact the manufacturer, even though it does state Cricket Wireless software update.
