Having issues with our phones dropping calls and then no service available other than emergency calls
This issue just started today. I was on the phone with a family member and it dropped a call. Tried to call back and it says network unavailable emergency calls only. I restarted my phone and turned airplane mode off and on and was able to call back. Phone disconnected again. Waited a few hours and the same thing. Waited a few more hours and again the same thing. I used my sons phone that is in my name on another account that is also in my name and the same thing happens on his phone. We have the Moto G Stylus 5g phones. All are new within the last year to year and a half. I have reached out to Cricket on Facebook, but apparently they are gone for the day. Anyone have any other suggestions in the meantime? The type of phone that we have doesn’t allow me to pull the battery because it is all one piece. I don’t know if a factory reset would do anything, but the fact that it’s 2 separete phones on 2 separate accounts, is weird. Bills are paid and autobilled to a credit card. Cricket websi
Ever since I paid my bill on the 10th of February my service hasn't been working. I talked to a cricket rep a few days ago and she said she was going to reset my service and to turn my phone off for 5 minutes and then turn it back on. I tried this for a day and it did not work. I called yesterday again and the rep had me reset my mobile network and remove my Sim and put it back in. She said if this didnt work that I might need to replace my Sim since it might be the problem. She said that I would need to go to a Cricket store and have them do a Sim check on my phone and that she would even call me back today at 12pm to guide me and in the meantime she would keep monitoring my connection. This did not work and she never called back. I still went ahead and went to my nearest Cricket store. They told me they didn't know what a Sim check was but I went ahead anyways and bought a new Sim card and had it installed just incase. This also did not work. I then called today using my wifi calling
I am currently experiencing difficulties with my iPhone 7's low volume, making it challenging to hear during calls. Considering my hearing impairment, I am seeking an upgrade to another iPhone model that boasts exceptional volume control. Could you please suggest an iPhone known for its superior volume capabilities? Thank you for your assistance in advance.
Plain and simple, cause I accidentally chose my additional entry in my first question, as the best answer... lol. I have this number on my call settings and I never put it there, nor do I know why a Georgia based company would have a Texas based number for voicemail… ... and what is the default number for voicemail, cause at one time I did have a suspicious number in that setting. This is a factory exchange phone from warranty, so please cricket agents, don't just answer, use your research powers and investigate, cause others have had this same number... and I have since lost the info on "George _______" who the voicemail number was registered to, in over five states.
I bought a Cricket phone from Walmart to add my dad and stepmom onto my account. Took it to the Cricket store where they added my parents to the account, took my money, but then said phone wouldn’t activate. Told me to take it back to Walmart and get another phone and bring it back. So I did. Same thing...wouldn’t activate. Told me to call customer service, so I did. FOUR TIMES. Every representative either hung up on me or told me the problem would be fixed if I would just power the phone down and then boot it back up. NOTHING WORKED and I still have a phone my dad can’t use but still being charged. I am not rude on the phone with the representatives. They all say they need to put me on hold to fix the problem and then they just disconnect. I don’t know what to do to get the phone activated since no one is willing to help. So incredibly frustrating.
We both have iPhone 14s, mine is a Pro. We cannot call each other for some reason. When I call my daughter it goes to a message saying, “The caller has not set up her voicemail yet.” And when she calls me it says “Call Failed” On top of that my daughter cannot send text messages anymore.
My wife's IPhone 8+ is in SOS only mode. We have tried all of the suggestions to no avail. Took it to the Cricket.store. They were unable to get it to work and suggested the phone was to old and needed to be replaced. Other carriers report the phone is supported. Any help would be appreciated.
I have an unlimited data plan and I have the LG stylo 6. Everything works fine when I'm connected to my home wifi, but the minute I try to open up a game like Jurassic World Alive or Pokemon go while I'm outside, they take ages to load and don't work properly. Does this happen to anyone else? Or does anyone know what I can do to fix it?
I have been with Cricket for several years. I've been using a Samsung Galaxy S8 and never had a problem. All of a sudden last week my text messages stopped sending to people 50% of the time (I can receive text messages just fine.) When I send a text, half of the texts I send will have a blue spinning circle next to them and then an error message pops up that says "message failed" and my phone asks me to review the message and try again. Sometimes when I click "retry" it will send. Sometimes it won't. It happens no matter if I'm on wifi or not, and I for sure have full service. I've tried making sure my phone's SMSC number hasn't been changed or deleted. It hasn't. I refreshed it just in case. I've tried clearing the messaging cashe. Turning airplane mode on then off. Resetting my phone. Nothing has fixed the issue. What isn't making sense to me is the fact that some messages are sending and some aren't. I can send a message that says "test" to the same number three times and the first
Has anyone had success getting 5G service on an unlocked Motorola One 5G Ace? I chatted with Cricket Wireless tech support who confirmed that I have 5G service in my area and my phone is compatibile. Then we went through APN setting changes with no success. The service tech told me to call Motorola because it appeared that my phone doesn't have a toggle setting. I then called Motorola and their tech support told me my phone will automatically switch to 5G when the signal strength is good. Any help the community has would be greatly appreciated .
