This customer service representative at the West 117th location Cleveland Ohio, she charge me $10 for a Sim chip that I didn’t need. she was trying to troubleshoot my phone, if you don’t know how to troubleshoot a phone in with the phone and what it needs. Please not charge customers $10 for a Sim chip that they don’t need. I called the district manager and the manager of the store and argued with me and said it’s non refundable.
I purchase a new iPhone 11 XR from cricket on April 10 and it has now malfunctioned and your customer service told me there was nothing they could do since I couldn’t return it after 6 days. They to me to send it to Apple because it was under their warranty. I also have insurance and they would not allow me to make a claim. I can’t just send my phone off and wait for a return because I am the Director of a domestic violence shelter that runs 24 hours a day and I am on call all the time no exceptions. The woman that waited on my at the Poplar Bluff, Missouri was very rude and not at all understanding. I love my phone service just not your customer service.
I have been a Cricket customer for over a year...I bought a new iphone XS at Best Buy with no sim card and no cell service contract, was told it will work with all providers. I removed the sim card (Cricket) from my old device, installed in my new phone and powered up, it worked immediately. About a month later I tried to switch service to Verizon who told me phone was compatible. Tried their sim card and doesn't work because Cricket locked my phone. Yes, MY PHONE, that I paid for in full. I have not been able to get Cricket to unlock my phone. I had to pay for another months service Or lose my number and still have a locked phone. What gives a "bring your device, pay as you go" company the right to lock my phone? I have spoken with Cricket support every day to get this resolved to no avail. They keep promising to call me back, still waiting.Verizon charged me for sim card and first months service before they would try the sim card. They told me when I asked for refund that this
This has been happening to me on and off for 3 months randomly. I can't receive texts for a day or two no matter what I do. I've restored my phone multiple times (which is only a year old), I've reset network settings, I've had customer service refresh me on the network multiple times, I've reset apn settings, I've bought a new sim. Everything. Customer service submits tickets and essentially I get told they don't know why it's happening. From the looks of the community forum, it doesn't look like I'm alone as several others say they've experienced the same...so obviously this is a cricket issue. I am about to contact the BBB and potentially a lawyer as I am paying for a service that I have to go several days without being able to use because of THEIR issue with no real help from them. I have actively been looking for another provider because I've come to the conclusion that cricket has no intentions of fixing this issue and can only offer an apology to me.
About a year ago my wife and I upgraded our phones. My wife is happy with hers, but I am not with mine. I use my phone a bit differently than most people. I have damaged vocal cords so it is hard for me to be understood on a cell phone, which is why I have most of my conversations via my home phone. So I use my cell for texting, mapping, and taking pictures. I had an LG phone which served me well but had a terrible camera. I upgraded it to a Galaxy A11 and the only thing I like about this one is the camera. Otherwise it is the lousiest phone I have ever had. Even though I actually don’t use it a lot, I still have to recharge it every 36 hours, even if it just sits on my desk. You can literally set the phone in front of you and watch the battery discharge another 1% every few minutes. It seems to be the only Android phone on the market without a magnetometer, so I can’t install a compass. It doesn’t have an indicator light so I never know if a message or a call has come in un
I have read that these phones support 4G+ and 4G itself, and when I put in my EMEI to check if I can use these phones on the Cricket wireless network, it had stated that 3G is no longer supported. If it supposedly can use 4G and beyond, how come it isn’t compatible, or is there something I am missing?
I've been going crazy over the past couple of days because my WiFi stopped working after updating to iOS 14. I have 2 iPhones (iOS 14.5 beta 5) and both of them have an unusable WiFi while my laptop's WiFi works just fine. So last night I found a temporary fix. What I did was connect my laptop to our WiFi and opened the hotspot then shared the internet connection using a option in the settings, and then I connected my iPhone to my laptop's hotspot using WiFi. Only downside is you have to keep your pc running for the whole day but it works! I tested it on both phones and it works just fine. Apple obviously still have to fix this but I was happy I can use WiFi again.
With nearly all the models featuring OLED displays this year and the difference between the models becoming less and less noticeable and it being increasingly more varied and difficult to choose from what are your thoughts on Apple simplifying the line-up?We currently have 5 iPhones for 2020: iPhone SE iPhone 12 mini iPhone 12 iPhone 12 Pro iPhone 12 Pro Max I could imagine apple returning loosely to the old style of just one or two models released each year. Perhaps merging the SE and the mini to form a 5.4" LCD budget iPhone, keeping a 6.1" iPhone as the standard and a 6.7" as the pro with 3 cameras similar to the old plus modelsWith that in mind here's a potential new lineup: iPhone SE (5.4" LCD, single camera) iPhone (6.1" OLED, 2 cameras) iPhone Pro (6.7" OLED, 3 cameras) While I'm not sure about the only 3 camera model being the 6.7" that may be too big (maybe a standard 3 camera iPhone instead), this simplification seems to make sense. Do you agree, how would you sim
I switched to Cricket four days ago and I have been unable to send group texts or send pictures to other users since then. I always get the Not Delivered message with the !. Not once has it worked. I am able to receive group texts and pictures, though. iMessage works just fine. Individual SMS texts to Android users are sent just fine and I’m able to receive individual texts and pictures sent from individuals also. I have an iPhone XR running iOS14.4.2. Cellular Data is enabled. MMS Messaging and Group Messaging is enabled as well. I’ve reset network settings and rebooted the phone several times. It’s got to be some sort of setting but I am unable to make any manual changes. I called customer service and after trying to figure it out, they told me that group messaging is not supported. Huh?? Is that for iPhone only because the other two in my group text are Cricket subscribers also but they are using Android devices and they are able to send group texts no problem. He also had me dial *
Hi everybody,Today after opening the truecaller premium app to make a new call, I got an update notification and as usual I updated it. then I got an unknown number of blocked calls. Has anyone encountered such an error, this is an error from a new application update or the blocking feature needs to be reinstalled.
I had the Nokia C1 last year and I disliked it, so not even 3 weeks ago I "upgraded" to the Cricket Ovation, and I effing HATE it! The battery will not charge. It might go up 2-3% after being on charge for an hour, but I'll look again 10 minutes later-- still on charge-- and it's dropped at least 10%!!! It was finally up to 80% about 12 hours ago... It's currently in 57%, and yet again it's been in charge this whole time! And let's talk about how it starts lagging then freezes up completely! Most of my memory is still free. I don't run apps in the background. There is no reason for it to do this every time I turn around! If runs redonkulously slow. I find it funny that it has 4 stars on the website, but everytime I tried to leave a review, the page suddenly disappeared. Wtf is that about?!The only good thing about this phone is the screen size.
I'm sentimental and prefer to keep my messages. However they're taking up half the space on my iPhone 12 Mini.Up until recently, Messages were disabled on my iCloud (I'm not sure why). I was under the impression that if I enabled them, that they would be "offloaded" to iCloud and would free up space. I did this a week ago and watched it slowly sync over the next few days. However I'm still sitting at 130gig on the phone. What are my options here? Assuming I want to keep a history of all my messages. Worth noting is I'm technically ok if they aren't on my phone and instead are on iCloud or some other easily-accessed backup.Worth noting is I've already gone through and deleted large attachments (via the feature which lists attachments by size). Thanks in advance.
