The Oneplus 9 announcements reminded me that I seriously considered getting the OP7Pro, along with Galaxy Note 9, Xiaomi Mi 9T, and Nubia Z20. My search criteria on gsmarena was "notchless OLED".Price, updates, and local warranty were the crucial factors why the other phones ultimately didn't get the rose. The Mi 9T woulda been the one if they officially sold them in Canada, though I think about "What coulda been" with the Note 9 the most.Which phones were your final candidates, and how did you decide which ones didn't make the cut?
We passed my wife's Galaxy S7, which she's used over a year on Cricket, to my daughter. We put her Cricket SIM card, which she had on a 4G LTE Cricket phone for over a year into this one and now it's considered incompatible. Took it to the useless store, who tried to sell me a crap phone. Why all of the sudden this 4G phone and 4G SIM are "incompatible?" It's up to date and everything.
Hi everyone. Sorry if this has been posted before, but I got my new phone with 256GB yesterday. When I touch the phone after not doing a lot (downloading apps), the phone feels hot to the touch. Internal temperature is around 35 degrees Celsius. I'm coming from the S8+ and never had this issue. I've also factory reset the phone and did not use smart switch (as I read this could be an issue), same problem.Just wondering, is your S21 Ultra warm to the touch? I don't feel like that's normal. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Hi.S20 5G.When I plug my phone into my PC it says I have a total capacity of 108GB but only 2gb free. The files inside only make up 10gb. What is going on? I have only had the phone for a month and have very few apps installed beyond the bloatware. Also very few pics, media etc.I was recording 60fps UHD videos earlier but deleted them via the Gallery app. Are the videos not fully deleted (trash can or something?)Is the operating system / apps etc. really taking up 90GB?
My phone broke and figured I'd buy a cheap phone until I get the next flagship that appeals to me. I settled on the Pixel 4a. Although I had some reservations from reviews:Some said slow (MKB)Some said the video was bad and the audio wasn't greatJust one cameraIt's smallSo the results? When I first got it one thing stood out: This phone is slippery as #*! I needed to get a case right away as a drop was coming. The speed? It's very fast compared to older phones. I think tech reviewers are used to comparing top line products and not realizing users upgrade from older phones. The speed on this phone is great.Fingerprint censor is great and super responsiveAudio is loud when listening to music, which surprised me. Many said it was weak. But the sound from recordings is pretty bad. I often record audio (guitar/songs) and it's very tinny...so that's a bummer. The battery is very good! I am pleasantly surprised. I always get an all day use with room to spare. The size is small, but as I said, it
Why does the 5g network that is out now being so shitty as of recently?I go from 5g one minute to LTE then to 4g the nxt. I want to either get this fix or yall need to stop advertising that yall have the best 5g network until u can get this fix cause it messes up my game and thats the whole reason y i went with this phone is for the faster network and storage space.
Good Morning, I have an Alcatel Verso. I barely get 4g speeds, it says its LTE, yet it is always painfully slow. I understand its a cheap budget phone, but that doesn’t mean I’m suppose to get 3g speeds. Along with that I’ve dug into reviews, along with other websites and found that it does not support HD Voice. Will I get a discount for upgrading, not just the $100 off. Im going to be frank, I see other carriers that offer better deals for people who trade up and stay on their service. I’ve been a AT&T customer for 6 years, 5 of that with Cricket, which I wasn’t able to get a deal because I was switching from the parent company.
So I'm toying with the idea of upgrading my phone to a Samsung S20 FE. Take a look at the website and see it's $399. But wait..... As soon as I log into my account, the price jumps to $599. Seriously?!! This is how you entice customers to stay with the service? Disgusting. Totally and thoroughly disgusting. And before the obligatory "contact us on Twitter or Farcebook" reply pops up, I don't do social media.
I just bought my daughter and I new phones at the end of February. Both are Cricket LG Risio 4’s. These phones do not stay connected to the internet. We have 10 gb of data each and I blew threw mine in less than 10 days. She is almost at her 10. We have home wifi that we connect to and for whatever reason these phones are constantly losing connection to our wifi. We have reset our internet modem and router multiple times. We have tried the static method and also the dynamic method. We have forgotten the network and reset it multiple times. I am just at a loss what to do. This is 2 phones and they are horrible with our network connection. I should mention that we have 3 other phones with cricket and not a single issue with them being connected to out home wifi connection. Does anyone have any suggestions? I wanted to see if anyone knows a work around or a way to fix before I spent countless hours on the phone with tech who may or may not be able to help. If it was only 1 phone I could s
Hi I would like to know how or where can I complaint about cricket Wireless manager that stole my phone. I already call to customer service two times it's been more then 4 months without getting answers. They just said or we have the name on the manager but they don't nothing to help me. I have more than 10 years been a cricket Wireless Customer I'm really disappointed with cricket Wireless. How you supposed to trust a company when their own manager stole your phone.
ON THE CRICKET WEBSITE - IF YOU SWITCH TO THEIR NETWORK YOU WILL GET THE IPHONE 6S FOR $49.99. WELL, THAT'S NOT THE CASE WHEN I SWITCHED TO THIS NETWORK. BEFORE I ORDERING 2 SIM CARDS, I CALLED AND ASKED ABOUT THE PHONE. A LADY (WISHED I WROTE HER NAME DOWN) TOLD ME THAT WHEN I RECEIVED MY SIM CARDS TO CALL AND ACTIVE THEM AFER THAT WE (CRICKET) WILL SEND ME THE PHONE THAT WAS ON 5/18/20. I RECEIVED THE SIM CARDS YESTERDAY 5/20/20, CALLED ACTIVATED THEM, ASKED ME TO WAIT FOR 4 HRS FOR THE PHONES TO WORK. AFTER 4 HRS I CALLED TO GET THE PHONE (IPHONE 6S FOR $49.99), THEY TOLD ME I CANNOT GET THE PHONE BECAUSE I HAVE ALREADY ACTIVATED MY PHONES...WHAT??? I EXPLAINED TO THEM WHAT I HAD TOLD BY ONE OF THEIR STAFF. THE SUPERVISOR THAT I TALKED TO DID NOT EVEN CARE AND TOLD ME THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN FOR ME TO GET THE PHONE FOR $49.99. I HAVE BEEN AWARE THAT CRICKET HAS THE MOST RUDE AND NON-PROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE, WELL, I EXPERIENCE THIS YESTERDAY. HOW THE HELL I FOLLOW W
I just got the S21. While on a call, I tried to reply to a text using the microphone (voice input to text). I got a notification that says “can’t use voice input while on a call.” So it’s prohibited. By default, voice input is controlled by Samsung. I also switched to google for voice input to see if that worked. I don’t get an error message but Google says something to the effect of “I didn’t catch that,” so it doesn’t work either at the moment.Any workaround for this? Is this an android 11 issue? I could voice text while on a call on a galaxy note 4 (android 6). All these years later and the S21 is incapable of doing this? Frustrating.
Hello I’m trying to upgrade my phone but it’s saying there’s an order pending. It’s saying the order is a phone that we’ve already bought, received, and activated. Is there any way we can get rid of that because we already activated it? As for my new upgrade the payment is now processing, but if we clear the order pending will it go through all the way?
I bought a new phone the LGK92 on Nov 14 2020. It keeps shutting off and it will stay off and wont turn back on. I have only had it for a couple days. I went into the store in Spanish Fork UT and they don't want to do anything to help me exchange the phone or return it. This is not ok I will never buy anything from cricket ever again.
So I got a iPhone 12 Pro Max this week, and for the first 3 days I left 5G turned on... but then I’ve turned it off.At home I would get 2-4 bars of 5G. And at work about 1-2 bars of 5G.But even when at full speed thinks like music, youtube etc, I don’t notice it any faster than on 5G.So question... who has 5G turned on and who has 4G only?
My daughter switched from a Galaxy S9 to an iPhone 12. She is no longer receiving texts from me (Pixel 3 also on Cricket). I wondered if it had something to do with RCS (called Chat Features in Google Messages). So, I turned it off on my phone and, sure enough, my text went through.I have had RCS enabled for quite some time and have not had issues sending to other iPhone users. That makes me think it’s something specific to iPhone 12. We did work with a Cricket customer service rep who had us update to the latest iOS and he also “refreshed the network” and had us restart the phone. Nothing has worked so far.Is anyone else having similar issues or has someone solved this problem?
