Morning!I have my old Verizon LG G5 that had a broken screen. Replaced the screen and want to use it with my Cricket Plan.Well, swapped in the SIM Card and it selected Global network, which is 3G or less and one bar.Went through the settings suggested under the BYOP setup, and had LTE last for a short period last night. Somewhere over the night it switched back to Global.With the Samsung Cricket phone, we go from 2 to 3 bars, not always LTE where we live.Question 1: How do I get it to stay on the correct network? Question 2: Is there a way to get rid of the Verizon programming in the phone?Thank You!
Hi Folks,Recently purchased a Moto e5 Cruise. Trying to install Yahoo mail app and it won't work. By that I mean I download & install the app. Open the app, at the prompt I enter email address for my existing Yahoo account. I press the "next" button and nothing happens. It is supposed to go to an enter password screen but it just stays at the user name prompt. The button flashes briefly then just stays same page. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it several times. Tried all reasonable variations of my user name (w/out @, etc), looked all over the web, nada. Any ideas here? Gmail works fine as do all other apps and features. I am stumped.
I'm on the gulf coast. For a few years now I've had intrusions in my phone calls. I'll be talking with someone and suddenly I hear weird breathing sounds and gibberish that is unexplainable. Sounds like aliens have intercepted my signal or something. Other noises sound like Clicks, screeching and dropped calls. What is it? Very unsetteling and annoying.
HiI have a cricket Moto e5. I recieve individual SMS/MMS test messages and group text just fine from other Android users as far as I can tell. However, recently have encountered a problem when iphone users include me in group texts. Rather than just giving me the message, I get a notification with a link to "download" the message. The download never completes unless I am connected to a wifi network. This seems to be some kind of conflict between Android's MMS and Apples imessage systems. Based on suggestions on the internet I have attempted the following: 1. I have ask several iphoner's to ensure they have my phone number listed as "mobile" rather than "iphone" in their contacts list2. I have asked several iphoner's to ensure their settings are set to "send SMS when imessage is not available"3. I have verified that I do NOT have a active imessage account with Apple.Anyone have a fix for this?
I have the cricket HTC desire 625. The internal storage is terribly small and with all the junk that cones on the phone it leaves very little space for anything I actually want. I have an SD card but I can't figure it how to directly download things to it and most of the things already on the phone can't be moved to it. Is it even possible to make the SD card the default storage?
I have had Cricket for a month now. Before then I had studied for weeks deciding which phone company id use. What sold me with Cricket was the girl telling me my phone would not only be able to be used with Cricket but id also be able to use it with the mobile hotspot which is what i needed most.Turns out NO. My old phone didnt work. So they set me up with their mobile hotspot and $60 plan with the free phone of theirs. An Alcatel Verso. This has got to be the most worthless phone I have ever owned. It is truly WORTHLESS. The display is absolutely horrid. The RAM is nearly non exsistant so starting any app at all drains it to the point of being very very very slow. But the worst part: The constant over heating and shutting down. Sometimes , usually 3 or 4 times a day, the phone over heats. I cant run apps, I cant open my emails, i can barely text. Voice has been not working for over a week now from my home. Repeated calls for support have not helped. I have been with cricket for years with no problems. Data lte is fine. Four bars for service. There was a tower outage 2 weeks ago and we called support. No bars for service and the representative said they were aware and it would be fixed in a couple of days. It was and it worked for a few days. Now no voice on my android phones until you get a few miles away from home. It affects Four phones from two manufacturers. All four work fine as soon as you get a few miles away from home. 1 mile away they still don't work. This is on a major road highway 378. The iPhone is fine using HD voice. Customer support says that they will call back. I told them to call on the voip landline. All we have heard is crickets though. 😭
First off, I am a network engineer and have been doing it for 16yrs... So as far as my home setup..it is solid.All my other devices including non-cricket phones and Android OS has no problems with WiFi in the house or anywhere else.My ZTE phone from Cricket as of about a week or so ago simply will not stay connected to ANY WiFi hotspot longer than 5 minutes. I do 90% of my work from home and got the message today that I have used 75% of my data.... I never even use 1 GB in a month...let alone 7GB. I noticed that my phone is constantly disconnecting from my WiFi and randomly reconnects when I leave the house and come back.... Connections never last more than 5 minutes before dropping...no matter the signal quality.The router still shows in the list but I have to reconnect to it constantly....and 5 mins later repeat... There are no issues with my home and office network and only this phone is doing this out of the 8 devices on my wireless home network.Is there a way to bypass the Cricket
My husband's GS6 keeps boot looping, may stay up for a minute or two but usually doesn't get fully past the Samsung logo on startup. The day this started he showed me that the phone had a blue screen with Downloading on it. He did not initiate this. I later found out that it's a special screen you have to press 3 keys to get to! He didn't do that! So maybe it was a bad update that came OTA?? Anyhow, have tried to wipe cache, have tried factory reset, and no help.I tried to connect to Smart Switch but it said something like device incompatible. Not sure if firmware problem, or hardware problem, or ?Any suggestions? He had to go ahead and get a new phone but it would be nice if we could get this working as a backup.

I need to change my number. But I'm not going to pay a$15 dollar fee. I've never had to pay to change my number with any other service provider I've ever used before. And I'm not going to start now. I will find me a nother service provider first. So how can I change my number without paying a fee
I just bought an new in box, unlocked LG G6 phone. The phone is compatible per Cricket's website by entering the IMSI number. When we put in the SIM card, we are only getting 3g, instead of 4g LTE. The card was previously in the LG X Power and I had no problems.Any info would be helpful.
When I am on my phone’s data I am having extreme lagging issues. I am not over my data limits either. I’ve been with Cricket for three months now, and it has been a continuous problem no matter where I am physically located. It appears to happen on several different towers
