Phones & Devices
Last Sunday, July 5th, my prior phone simply died that morning. I was staying at a friend's house in Burleson, Texas. I was taken to a local Cricket store and purchased a new phone a few hours later in the afternoon. Just days later I began to have problems with this phone. It wouldn't let me answer and was kicking the caller to voicemail after two rings.I live in Garland, TX and this is where I purchased my last phone and setup my account. I walked in this morning, July 11th, and was then told, "Sorry, we can't do anything and you have to go back to the original store." This is 60 minutes away. The problem with this is that I can't drive. I have no way to get there. I simply don't see how on earth that as a customer for several years that a phone can't be returned at this store. I actually wanted to upgrade to a better phone. Yet, I rather take a slap in the face saying too bad.
LG Harmony 4 I am as of now taking a gander at updating my LG Escape 3 that I have had for the last ~47 years, and am taking a gander at the telephones recorded by my transporter Cricket. Does anybody have any understanding/proficient assessments on the Harmony 4? The $140 value stage they have on it for overhauls is about the most I feel great spending on a telephone, my Escape 3 has done well for me up until this point. The primary things I am planning to improve with an overhaul is having a superior camera, and less applications smashing since I made my telephone gbwhatsapp think excessively hard. That and playing music eats battery life like distraught. The Harmony 4 appears as though it would deal with the vast majority of that. Or on the other hand does anybody have an alternate recommendation for me to take a gander at? I could do without any apple items, and incline toward a telephone that fits in my grasp like my Escape, so something around a similar width (2.81") would be lik
My main phone (J7 Pro) has a broken display (leaking amole), i cant find replacement displays so I'm looking for a new phone. I only want Samsung to be fair, needs to have Amole and fingerprint unlock. My budget is max 250 euros, i don't use my phone that much so i don't need super good CPUs or whatever. Edit: I live in Belgium https://192168o1.com.br/https://19216801login.com.br/https://logintplink.com.br/
My LG G7 ThinQ is using Android 8.0.0, Security patch level July 1, 2018. When I check for updates, it says “Everything is up to date”.There have been multiple security updates released in the past year from LG! Why are these not pushed to my device?! I’ve tried to use the LG bridge tool. I’ve contacted LG support.I can’t continue using a device that doesn’t receive critical security updates.
Its so not right for cricket wireless to make us buy only cricket branded android phones in order for wifi calling to work, but they wont brand a new Motorola phone to them, and sell it, in over 2 years, its time for cricket wireless to brand one of the new Motorola phones that were released this year to them so that us Motorola phone fans that are cricket wireless customers can upgrade from a 2 year old phone! P.s. On a side note it's also not fair that any iphone that you pop a cricket sim into is capable of wifi calling, wether the iphone is a cricket wireless iphone or not, but with Androids this feature only works with a cricket branded android??
Cricket News After BCCI announced that the Indian captain would return to India before the first test against Australia, Virat Kohli drove the cricket world into a frenzy. The superstar will play limit cricket in Australia and then go home with his wife Anushka Sharma to give birth to his first child in early January. The Cricket Federation of India (BCCi) announced on Cricket News last Monday that Collis will leave his team for Australia for the first test after the birth of his first child. BCC announced that fast bowler Ishant Sharma is recovering from a torn abdominal muscle and has been included in the Indian testing team. The four test series started with MCG’s Boxing Day test showdown, and the Indian Tour began its first test on December 17. Finally, Cricket News stated that the tour started with three ODIs in Sydney, followed by a limited number of matches in Melbourne, Melbourne. And Sydney in December and January respectively. A dear friend was in a terrible accident in a fall from his roof. He is now in rehab for memory loss and motor skills. He had a cricket account, which his wife suspended while he was in the hospital. During that time his iphone was also stolen from his wife’s backpack when she was visiting him in the hospital. They have purchased a new iphone and contacted cricket to get the number added to the new phone. Someone told her that Cricket owned the number and he couldn’t have it back. For some people this might be ok, but for Lynn, with major memory loss, this is devastating. Is there anything that can be done to give him back his old phone number? Thank you for your help.
Wife and I both have iPhone 7s with latest OS. We just switched from Verizon. Texting, voicemail, talking with other folks- works fine, clear as a bellBut whenever we are talking with each other it sounds like we’re talking with tin cans and string!Any help would be greatly appreciated
Looked around and didn’t see anyone mention this... With it being such a problem now (that we can see it happening), it would e nice if Apple would allow the um sers to block clipboard https://xender.vip/ pasting/reading (like location or notifications) on a per app basishttps://nox.tips/
So switched to cricket yesterday brought my unlocked moto g stylus with me. I can make calls and receive regular and picture messages but I seem to be unable to receive gifs. All software is up to date, I've uninstalled messages and reinstalled, set it as primary message app and still not receiving gifs. Does anyone know how I can fix this? It was never an issue on my old carrier. To clarify I can send gifs but can't receive them
We have a pair of G7 Supra phones. Pretty much everything works on 4G, but a bunch of apps cannot connect on Wifi. Examples: Yahoo Mail App, Disney+ App, Discord, Amazon... many.Turn off Wifi... works fine.Same apps work on Wifi on other devices (older Moto Turbo 2 and other devices since retired).Anyone else have a similar issue?Right now I have to keep old phones around to cast Disney+ to the Chromecast.
Hey Everyone, I'm just wondering about Phones in general.I heard that low signal will drain battery but would being in a area on Cricket Wireless that drops signal and regains it like several times a day drain the battery worse than having 1 bars of signal?Basically will the times I don't have signal drain the battery heavier than weak signal.
Is anyone else not overly impressed with the A71 camera? Firstly macro = fantastic, never use it but fantastic, live photo mode = fantastic again never use it, wide-angle = fantastic have used this a couple of times. Where it falls short for me is the ordinary camera which unfortunately I use 99% of the time. In bright daylight its great no problem, slightest darkness and noise starts creeping in, if you zoom in slightly lines become jagged and unsmooth, if you don't hold it steady images blur, its let down badly by lack of image stabilization. Then we have video camera which again I never use. The camera has lAppvnots of gimmicks such as macro which are great but I feel they should have sorted out the main camera as for me its not really good enough, my old S5 performs better in this department.
