SOS someone has fallen asleep at the wheel there has not been a update for Samsung Galaxy S9 phones since November 2020....… Current FirmwareBaseband: G960USQU8FTK2 (Highly outdated) I would have never bought the phone if I knew Cricket was going to abandon all security firmware updates leaving its users wide open for hackers....... (My employer says I cannot use it for work because its a security risk and has been exploited back in January 2021) I know a employee probably will not help is there any users that know of work around I'm presuming I will have to hook it up to a computer and update the phone myself because I'm sure Samsung removed the cricket bloatware and mandatory apps from firmware updates And it's probably the only reason it's not being updated because they cannot obtain user information with it from unlocked phones
I want to post this on my own thread just in case someone has a solution. Switched an iPhone 11 pro max from ATT to Cricket. The same day and ever since, the battery drains so fast during texting.I can listen to a book all day, but with frequent texting the battery will be from full charge to near dead in 4 To 6 hours. Prior to switching, battery life was about a day and a half with normal use. This makes no sense to me but it’s hard to me to believe coincidence. Any ideas?
According to Nokia, it’s compatible with Cricket’s 5G network. I already know that the Hotspot and WiFi calling may not work, are there any other surprises in store for me?I don’t have the phone yet, so I don’t have the IMEI information.
They need to get it together. First I purchased two iPhones and a stylo 6 for my youngest son. I added insurance on both iPhones. When I checked my app they added insurance on 1 iPhone and the stylo. SMH. So one $600 phone unprotected. But a $100 phone is. Then I’ve called 3 different times in the last week over the bill. Not only have they not solved my issue. But they’ve all hung up on me. Which is very unprofessional and rude
Hi. I've recently noticed that my RCS stopped working with Google Messages. It now says trying to verify number and just get stuck on that. I've tried resetting the app and clearing data of carrier services and uninstalling and reinstalling the apps to no avail. I've tried swapping sims but no help as well. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I'm furious. I changed to cricket because their service was better than straight talk. But boy was I lied to. Completely. I got a POS phone that same day I got it froze for ten minutes at a time and the signal only allowed me 5 minutes before it just disappeared. I call to replace this POS phone with a new one as I have to have it for my business. EVERY SINGLE DAY. I'm informed 4 days after getting it, my options are return the phone and get my money back but I will lose my phone number that I brought with me. Or send this one in and wait 2-3 days for a replacement and have no phone AGAIN I NEED MY PHONE EVERY SINGLE DAY. Thank God I am the only one I switched because this is NOT good service. I will switch to someone else and this POS will show up on your counter at a store. And the friends I told I will be calling now to tell then NOOOOOO. It's a scam. Take care because I'm done
I got a motorola g30, and I used the sim from my old moto g8. It was working fine for few minutes until I got a message saying is incompatible.I put the sim back to my moto g8 and it still doesn’t work. I checked my account and it says account suspended.How does the motorola g30 does not work if it’s a 5G phone and has the same antennas as the g8?And also, why does my service need to be suspended for this.
I used to have different texting tones which was songs for all my contacts so when I heard the tone I knew who was texting me but now that I did the latest update I cannot figure out how to do that? Is there a way to do it or did I lose that feature in the update? I have a Samsung galaxy a11
I have a Moto G Power, and I cannot figure out how to make it install my Software and app updates using my Data. I don't have easy access to wifi and nothing has been updated in a few months. I'm getting worried, I know there's no faster way to ruin a phone than let the apps get to far behind. It just will not give me the data option. Someone told me I have to factory reset my phone to switch it to data. I'll do it if I have too, but it's such a pain, I want to make sure there's no other way first.
2 out of 5 Galaxy models we have left in the house are F/FD international models.Anyone have luck getting VOLTE and Wireless Calling working on these? My mother's S8 plus seems to be OK with WiFi calling, but no option for VOLTE. My A90 doesn't work with either feature.Always bought international models from eBay because they are cheaper. But it looks like Cricket only wants to support US versions?
My husband and I have been Cricket customers for about a year now.For the most part we have been happy with service and especially the price.My husband was using a unlocked phone(Samsung s20 not a cricket phone) and decided on a different one so I was going to take the s20 and use it ,once his sim was removed and mine put in there it was no longer compatable with Cricket Network!!!! WHAT?? We have been using this phone for the whole time we have been Cricket customers it was compatable when we activated the phone because we did it at a cricket store!!! So shame on you for encouraging people to BYOD,then you dont want to hold up your end of the deal!!! I'm thinking you will lose lots of customers over this if you dont make things right SOON!!!!
I called three times today to find out why my hotspot was taken off my phone and no one could so I went ahead and paid the fee because I need my hotspot for my school and the bastards never added it. I am pissed beyond belief right now. I am fixing to leave this company.
I just switched to Cricket and my husband and I both got the Moto G Power phone. They are the worst phones I've ever owned in my life. My husband is very unhappy with his as well. The store in my area had a promotion that was giving the Stylo 6 but when we went out had changed and we got stuck with this crap phone. I called and was told I only had 7 days and I was already at the end of my 6th day and I was out of time. Why was I not made aware of this policy when I got these stupid phones. Maybe time to cut my losses and go back where I came from. Phone rarely rings when I get a call...I mean I don't get the call at all. I have an this pop up junk... We hate these phones. Never been more unhappy with a service...
