Hello. I have an iPhone 7Plus and ported my number to Cricket last week. I am now not receiving original or reply text messages from people. Some are iPhone users and some are Android users, there is no rhyme or reason to it. I’ve tried Cricket support 3x and they have no clue what to do to fix the problem.Full factory resets, replacement SIM, reset Network Settings, brand new iPhone SE…nothing works. This issue is somehow tied to my phone number.I have found several posts online where AT&T users experiencing the exact same problem complained to AT&T upper management and somehow their issue was resolved in 2-3 days. Does Cricket have that level of support?
I am missing text bc i am not receiving notifications. No sound, vibration or notification at top of screen. Very frustratec. I have even talked to manager at local store but problem is not resolved. Recently upgraded phones still didn't help. Uninstalling and reinstalling app works for a short time.
Today I changed my $55 core plan to $60 plan which includes 5G and internet speeds higher than 8mbps.for some reason I can’t make 5G work on my phone. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max which I bought unlocked at apple.I know my plan has changed because i can see higher internet speeds and hotspot enabled. But I can’t choose 5G as preferred network. All the options I have is 4G and LTE. I’ve followed directions from different agents at the tech support with no success. I reset network settings several times, I updated iOS to the latest version, they made some changes on the line as well, I gave them IMEI number, and also installed my SIM card in another iPhone 12 Pro Max unlocked but Still no 5G, only LTEany help would be appreciated
Even though both Cricket and Motorola support presidential alerts I also do not receive them. In my app settings presidential alerts and the ability to turn them off and on is shadowed out yet I have full access to other types of alerts: weather, Amber, state/local alerts, etc. I have made numerous calls about this only to be hung up on or told because my number is registered with the Federal Do Not Call list. To say I am frustrated about this is like calling Biden a president.
Brand new Moto G Stylus phone from Cricket.In areas where cellular service isn’t great… but there is marginal signal.Turn on WiFi calling, and it always says "Please try again later".Tried turning phone to “airplane mode”, then turn on WiFi… get the same message.Rebooting phone… doesn’t help.Call to support… I might as well have gone through the Burger King drive through and asked for help.Yes, WiFi is solid… no problem accessing websites. Have tried via different WiFi networks… same results. Do have another softphone app on the Moto… it works fine.Any thoughts?
Hello,I’ve been reading through these forums and noticed a lot of people having issues with Cricket. I’m thinking about getting my iPhones unlocked and switching over…How are iPhone 12’s working with 5G? Anyone receiving delayed texts? Do calls get dropped a lot?Any info is appreciated! I am on T-Mobile now and would hate to regret my decision of unlocking my phones and hating the service just to save $100 on a monthly payment. thank you all
I just switched to Cricket and my husband and I both got the Moto G Power phone. They are the worst phones I've ever owned in my life. My husband is very unhappy with his as well. The store in my area had a promotion that was giving the Stylo 6 but when we went out had changed and we got stuck with this crap phone. I called and was told I only had 7 days and I was already at the end of my 6th day and I was out of time. Why was I not made aware of this policy when I got these stupid phones. Maybe time to cut my losses and go back where I came from. Phone rarely rings when I get a call...I mean I don't get the call at all. I have an this pop up junk... We hate these phones. Never been more unhappy with a service...
So, I have a OnePlus 7t, I upgraded to it last year in September. In the MyCricket app it said that I was eligible to have the upgrade fee covered or something. What specifically does that mean? And would I be eligible for it as I purchased the phone from Amazon and migrated my SIM over? I specifically bought this phone because I thought it would be supported longer term and could go a couple years without an upgrade.
My LG K92 power button isn't working. It's been like this for a few weeks. I tried to trade it for a new one at the local store but LG quit making phones. I have insurance on it but to ship it off for a new one the phone message said my deductible was $130! Why even have insurance if it's gonna cost the same as a new phone? Please help.
The ovation fone is a POS. This is the 4 attempt. To. Get this out. Dropped calls. Apps. Crashing. Span. Messages. From att&t. Saying. Over billed. Countless. Many more. Employees. Don't care. I was told. It's a. Virus. An to. Factory reset. Doesn't work.every problem. Others. Are haveing. Are the same. Ones I have. So it's a virus. Gorilla. Glass. They installed. Bubbled. An the POS. Glass. Cracked. It's not. Coverd. I am unhappy. With this fone. For it being 7 months old. An. File. Not. Found. Keeps. Popping up. To be honest my zte. Grand ex 3. Was better. This this. Never had issues. With. Prior fones. I had. From cricket before. So why. This. One. It can't be. A virus. Bs. U need. Better. Employees. At this. Places
When I first got my cricket ovation phone, on Dec. 2020, I was playing around with it to see what it would do. I created an animated emoji that looked like a monster. I made the recording and it spoke on my phone. I tried to send it but now it is no longer animated. I don't even know how I created it, and I can't find out how to recreate it. Does anyone know where this option is using a cricket ovation phone?
Cricket claims to shut down its 3G network in February 2022. And for that Cricket has been suspending phone lines used in devices that Cricket deemed incompatible. Actually, not all those devices are incompatible with Cricket’s 4G LTE and HD Voice Calling. It is just they are not in Cricket;s short limited compatible list.If your line is suspended, like mine and many others’, then congratulations, you will need find a appropriate time to contact customer support and ask them to unsuspend it for you. Even more surprises, if you do not use the line in a compatible device they recognize, your line will get suspended again just in a few hours. And you will need to do this again. This never ends, until you get a new phone with Cricket.Switching the SIM card into a compatible phone does not solve the suspension issue. You will have to talk to customer support, no other way.But why the heck should Cricket be allowed to suspend costumer’s phone line? It is a violation of consumers’ rights. We
