I have cricket and am on the 55 dollar unlimited plan. Most stuff works ok but lately downloading apps from the google play store literally takes HOURS. Downloading apps over wifi is very fast as expected. For example downloading the uber app (less than 60mb) took me over an hour. I have full bars and other stuff like internet YouTube and stuff works fine but downloading or updating apps is excruciatingly slow. I've talked with technical support from cricket and also with tech support from google play and have been unable to resolve the issue. Have tried everything. The phone is 8 months old and is in excellent condition. My bill is due on the 15th and I am planning on porting my number and switching to boost mobile tomorrow. I've talked to countless techs from Google and cricket and my problem persists.
I’ve used Cricket for years in the US and used temporary service (Vodafone) while I’m abroad. But this time I can’t get Cricket back on my phone. It shows T mobile. I drove to 2 stores listed on Cricket’s website - which are closed down. I talked to a bot and then chatted to a nice person who couldn’t help me and said to call Customer Support. At first I was to be transferred to a person, but then my phone was closed down, and no calls go through.
Just recently I have noticed that my text messages are being delayed or just not being delivered. I also notice that I get a message that I am off line and then back online all while being someplace connected to wifi.Is there something going on or do I just need to switch to a different carrier?
Hi,I got my Google Pixel 6a phone today, and was super excited to try it out, but after inserting my cricket wireless sim, I got an SMS saying this model is not supported by Cricket.I got on a call with customer service, and provided them with my IMEI number, but all they said is they do not support this model.Does anyone know if cricket will support Pixel 6a or how long does it usually take Cricket to support a new device? I need to decide if I should be returning my Pixel 6a :(
I bought an unlocked Verizon phone. I checked the imei # with numerous websites and they all say the phone is clean. But cricket /At&t say it's stolen or not unlocked. I called Verizon they said the phone has been unlocked since 2017 when it was purchased and the phone is clean. Verizon said there has never been any issues on the phone. Verizon can't understand why At&t and cricket say it's stolen. Verizon said it's there phone so cricket can't blacklist it and they can't understand why it's saying it's blacklisted when it is not!! At&t and cricket will not resolve this issue! They say they can't remove a Verizon phone from a blacklist but VERIZON DOESNT HAVE IT BLACKLISTED!! Cricket has it blacklisted. I have googled how to resolve this issue and I have found MANY people complaining of this same issue. Saying cricket/At&t are blacklisting phones that are perfectly fine so that you have no choice but to buy a new phone. If I don't get this resolved I will not be buyin
I saw a similar issue but the only comment was Cricket would reach out to that customer. On the phone app, I go to voicemail and it only shows “call voicemail”. when called it would say this person does not have voicemail setup.The Cricket setup instructions say to hold 1 from the keypad and it doesn’t work either.
Bought unlocked iPhone X and started using it with cricket since August 2018, last week when I tried to use another carrier they told me my iPhone is locked. I've already called apple and cricket customer service. apple says they can't unlock network related locks and suggestions I should contact my carrier which is cricket. cricket are play marry go around with me. Every day is different story and different case file but no solution. My son and I have been with Cricket for years. He recently moved and couldn’t get a signal with Cricket so he switched to another company. I had to get a new phone because they said mine wouldn’t work when they went to 4G. I recently became eligible for free phone service as I lost hours at my job. I can’t afford another new phone and Cricket won’t unlock mine so my brand new phone is useless. I am totally disgusted with this company. The person I spoke with was extremely rude and non-caring.
The S10+ is not listed on the 5g compatibility list. That’s ridiculous. You have the S10 and the S20, the S10+ cost me $1200. Just switched to Cricket from AT&T yesterday. I’m only getting 1.5mb download speed. That’s terrible. I was getting 5mb or more on the AT&T. I thought I was on their same network?Looking now into possible changes to the APN to properly connect to 5G. Questions:Anyone know the APN settings? Why isn’t the S10+ listed as compatible? Any ETA? I’m on BYOD plan, can I just buy a new phone from the compatible list and insert my existing SIM?
I got the cricket 5g phone as an upgrade and it's been shutting down the and restarting since I got it home. The store won't do an exchange due to their employee breaking the SIM card tray when I was at the store on the phone they tried to give me 1st and counted that phone as an exchange. I am so upset over this so called upgrade especially after reading all the reviews on line. This phone should not even be on the shelves in the stores or considered as an upgrade. Its only obvious after seeing how many phones have had issues.
I posted the other day about my girlfriends dream 5G which she has had for close to 2 months that has worked amazingly well, until the other day. Cricket came on here and marked the issue as resolved which it has not been resolved. We have PAID OUT MY POCKET for a new sim card when we were told that was the solution that we needed to do, Why I had to pay 10 bucks and some change for that, is beyond me. The problem we are having is the data connection will drop out every 5 mins or so and will not come back on unless you either turn the phone on and off, reset network settings, or airplane mode on and off and every time it comes back, the best we have got is 15 mins out of it. I have called the overseas tech support they use and have to go through the same damn troubleshooting steps every damn time only for them to think they got it fixed when it is still acting up soon as the call is over, I was told to submit a warranty claim on it which I followed the link in my last post and when I e
