We recently received a new Google Pixel 6. We bought the unlocked version that is supposed to work on all carriers. Switched the sim over and the phone wouldn’t work, furthermore the number showed up as suspended on myCricket. We switched it back into the original phone and after a while the suspension was lifted. The Cricket website lists the Pixel 6 as supported, however when we plug the imei number it says the device is not supported.Anyone have an idea what is happening? Any suggestions? Thanks!
Hi! I am hoping to confirm if my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will continue to work on Cricket’s network after the 3G shutdown. I did receive the text message from Cricket regarding the shutdown. However, I’ve been checking the Cricket site (specifically the “Device Compatibility” lookup) and I received the “Yay, your Samsung SM-G925A is compatible!” message when plugging in my phone’s IMEI ID. This leads me to believe that my phone will work after the shutdown. I should note that I checked other carriers and it appears that my phone will work on their platforms after the shutdown. For example, AT&T is indicating that my phone will continue to be supported on their network after the decom. This furthers my belief that my phone should continue to work as Cricket uses AT&T’s network for service. Thanks for any confirmation regarding if my phone (Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge) will continue to work on Cricket’s network after the 3G shutdown. My phone works perfectly and I really have no desire
New Moto G Stylus 5g (2022) will not connect my mobile hotspot to brand new Vizio tv or laptop. Upgraded my phone from 3g and now it will not connect at all. My 3g phone connected flawlessly. I don't understand why this new upgraded phone will not. Made sure of the coverage area while in store. Have tried absolutely everything. System is up to date. It's not my devices. I do live in a rural area, I get 1-2 bars, I can get online, play online games etc etc, call, text altho reception is slow & I do get dropped calls at times, I've always been able to use hotspot on my tv to watch movies, videos & play games. Now my hotspot will not connect at all to my laptop, it keeps saying bad password even though it's correct. Connects for about 1 second to tv & then nothing. DHCP is enabled. Have changed AP bands, 2.4GHz, 5.0GHz which is preferred, tried with and without a password. I will be so happy & appreciative with ANY suggestions & ecstatic if my issue is resolved! 🤸Tha
I have a Galaxy S10e, and per Cricket’s page, it is compatible after the 3G sunset. But two days ago it stopped making/receiving calls. Everything else works; text, data, GPS, WiFi, etc, but it won’t make calls, and when someone calls me it goes straight to voicemail, which I can’t get either because I can’t make a call. I never reecived notice from Cricket that I would have an issue with the 3G sunset, which is supported by the fact that my phone is compatible per Cricket’s “3G Sunset” page. I talked w/ Tech Support and after a half-hour, they were able change my LTE to H+ And I was able to make calls, but that only lasted an hour. As soon as I drove away from my house my phone reverted to LTE and I couldn’t make any calls. I stopped at the Burien Cricket store and the lady there told me that my phone isn’t compatible and that Cricket is offering free comparable phones for people affected by the 3G sunset, though then she told me I’m not eligible for some reason. She seemed to
Hello! I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ with the 9.1 Software while my son has a Galaxy S8 with the 7.0 Software. I would like to know how he could update his software to the one similar to mine. His original carrier was AT&T until we switched over to Cricket. The Model Number is SM-G950U.
I have been a Cricket user for over 5 years but recently my voice mail box doesn't allow anyone to leave a message. I have a Apple SE which was replaced by an Apple store after it was damaged. The Apple store cloned the hardware from the damaged phone and says the new one works perfectly. It does, except for one problem - no one can leave a message in my voicemail box since the hardware was swapped. When I call voicemail it says no messages - so it seems to be set up correctly.I went to the Cricket store and they say it it not their problem (that means the girl doesn't know how to fix it). She says the number is not registered with Cricket even though normal data and voice (non-voicemail) work fine and the bills are paid promptly (automatically). Can anyone help? Or do I need to find a provider that delivers everything I pay for?
I bought a cricket phone today at a yard sale. Went to Wal-Mart after calling straight talk and got a sims card cost me $54. Accessed my online account with straight talk activated the ZTE switched my number over inserted the Sims card and as soon as my old phone got turned off a message popped up on the ZTE saying enter unlock code. Even though you all have a legal obligation to give me the access code noone will help me. I think its wrong I paid $75 for the phone then $54 for the Sims card and I was told oh well. Your all custoner service ppl at stores and on the phone SUCK. A very dissatisfied person
Will you be able to use the wi fi calling feature on a Samsung unlocked Galaxy 8+ G955U or a Galaxy Note 8 or 9? I have gotten different answers from everybody I have talked to at Cricket. I had bought a LG V30+ unlocked and it wouldn't work at all with Cricket and had to send it back. If they won't allow you to use this feature on unlocked phones, then I will need to look for another carrier, because I need it for where I live. The Moto E5 is to small of storage and doesn't work right at all!! Thanks
I ported over to an Xfinity phone, Moto e5 play. Since switching I have two issues, one major.Major: seems like my Wi-Fi settings have not switched to cricket. I still have the option to connect to Xfinity hotspots. Even though I have this setting turned off, my wifi will still try to connect to the XFINITY hotspot and will show that I'm connected, although obviously I'm not. But this has the effect of disconnecting my data. So that's really annoying. How can I get this phone to switch really over to cricket Wi-Fi? I understand I'm supposed to have the option for Wi-Fi calling also, which is not in my settings.Second thing is that I do not have a cricket voicemail widget so I do not know when someone has left me a voicemail. How do I get that? Thanks!
Why is it not listed on the website, when you purchase a phone at full price, you are locked in 6mos
I purchased an Iphone from Cricket at full price. The store never said that you were now locked into contract for 6 months. I looked at the website and don't find it there. It says you are not locked into an annual contract. Why does it not say you ARE LOCKED INTO 6 MONTHS. Tried to talk to a manager at customer service. Apparently I was told they do not take calls from customers. What the heck? TOTALLY FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!
Location of saved visual voicemail messages please -- can't access app after ported number away from
Could anyone please tell me, do undeleted visual voicemail messages, especially ones that the user has designated for the app to save, get stored on the phone (in this case Android 7.0, a moto G5 Plus)? And ideally the location / path.I recently increasingly have been in a location with relatively poor signal strength such that I often found out about a call only after receiving a voicemail message if the caller left one. I opened a service ticket only eventually to be told that the problem has nothing to do with signal.I however noticed the same problem with a different phone that also uses the AT&T signal, so idecided if even only as an experiment, to try putting the number away to difference cellular company. I ported the number earlier today.I wanted to access voicemail and I discovered that the visual voicemail app is specific to cricket, and a rep at cricket tech support stated that the messages for a ported away phone number will already have been deleted (not the case thoug
I have an S5 with a Cricket account. I would like to change to using an S8 while keeping my Cricket number.Since it is a used phone, I cannot upgrade. So, I saw I could request a new sim card for a different device on my current line.If I go this route and order a new sim card for the S8 (keeping my number) does that make the S8 the device now for the line? What happens to my S5?Can I then use my S5 to add an additional line and order a new sim card for the S5 as a new number? Or will it still be linked to the original account and not be available to use as a new line?
