I'm planning on purchasing an iPhone12 Pro. I'm assuming that it will work on Cricket and all I have to do is to purchase an unlocked phone? The only concern I have is that the Pro series has a different sized SIM card so if Cricket doesn't have that available, I won't be able to use the new phone. Does anyone have any info on that? TIA!
I just got a new phone through cricket because my last phone wouldn't charge... well this phone for some reason is so slow and lagging so badly, I can't use it half the time. I can't afford to get another phone so I need to figure out how to add more storage or do something I already deleted as many photos files whatever to help with the storage situation, but it didn't help and I don't know what to do, I tried to contact someone from cricket to help me, but they couldn't or wouldn't help so if anyone can that would be amazing
I ported over to an Xfinity phone, Moto e5 play. Since switching I have two issues, one major.Major: seems like my Wi-Fi settings have not switched to cricket. I still have the option to connect to Xfinity hotspots. Even though I have this setting turned off, my wifi will still try to connect to the XFINITY hotspot and will show that I'm connected, although obviously I'm not. But this has the effect of disconnecting my data. So that's really annoying. How can I get this phone to switch really over to cricket Wi-Fi? I understand I'm supposed to have the option for Wi-Fi calling also, which is not in my settings.Second thing is that I do not have a cricket voicemail widget so I do not know when someone has left me a voicemail. How do I get that? Thanks!
I wonder if anyone else is finding that WhatsApp isn't functioning like it should on their Samsung S10+. My main issue is when I try to search for a GIF the screen goes funny and the keyboard doesn't pop up to type the search. Also, when sending an attachment, your give the option to send it quickly to your most recent/popular recipients but when you tap one of them it just loads all the other send options.
I just purchased an unlocked S20 FE, direct from Samsung. I have also been using Cricket Wireless for about 3 years now, with an unlocked S9 Plus. However, after putting my SIM card in the S20 FE, I received a message that the device is not compatible with their network. When I made a call to Cricket's customer service, I was told that there is nothing they can do to activate my new phone with their network. Even though Cricket offers the exact same phone for sale, through their website! It seems like Cricket is moving toward forcing their customers to purchase phones through them. Which is a shame, because that is going to force me to do business with a different wireless network.
Hello,Everyime I login to the mycricket app on my moto e5 cruise it shows a red banner up top says "we cannot find an internet connection..". I've reinstalled the app, made sure it's the most up to date and even tried another phone with the aim card.. Same result. Otherwise phone is operating fine..What's interesting is in the background it's actually logged in. I have brought this issue up to cricket via support and Twitter and I have gotten no where. I see a few other posts on the play store comments mentioning the same issue and was wondering if there was any insight to the issue? Thanks,Pete
Any idea how the IMEI look up thing works? Unlocked my phone about an hour ago with the mycricket app, looked up the IMEI on another providers on line tool to see if it was compatible with their network and it doesn’t recognize the IMEI number. Does it just take more time?
Hello friends! I amn't US citizen. I live in Europe. I bought iPhone 7 plus on eBay from re-seller , not from original owner. It's a cricket phone. I need to unlock it for any GSM network. Cricket support tell me that i need wireless number or account information for unlocking. I haven't any info. There is one another option; Operator says that: The person who is an existing Cricket customer can authenticate the account with his account credentials then with the help of your phone's imei number, the unlock code can be checked. The only option left for you is to contact someone in the U.S. who is a Cricket customer and he will be able to authenticate the account with his account credentials.Once the account is authenticated, we can check the unlock code with the help of your phone's imei number. Can anyone help me to do that? Please read and help me! I really need it!
I have a moto e5 cruise that was given to me bc I my previous phone stopped working. I don’t have the $$ to purchase a new phone so I registered for qlink wireless and got a SIM card in the mail yesterday . When inserted a message appears on the e5 stating there’s a network lock and I need a pin # to proceed. Research has shown me I may need to pay to have phone unlocked🤔. If that’s true is there any other way to do so that’s legal and FREE??? I need a phone badly—been without for too long.
Today I became aware that I am no longer able to send/receive calls on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 here at home. However if I drive to the grocery store, I am able to make/receive calls just fine. This has sent me on a path today to investigate this issue and to determine what exactly is going on.Here at home we have 6 phones that are all on Cricket Wireless. Two of the phones, a Cricket S10 and S9, are working perfectly and are able to make/receive phone calls with no problems. However all of our BYOD phones (2 A50's, Note 8 and an S9+) are all unable to make/receive calls here at home.I've done all the normal steps such as rebooting and checking settings, and even went so far as to purchase a new SIM card for the Note 8, but it all came back to the same results. After spending hours on a chat with a support person, swapping SIM cards around between phones and stuff, we came up with the following conclusion:Phones that are not sold or supported by Cricket wi
I just bought a new Samsung Galaxy A11 phone yesterday from a Cricket store. I cannot get Wifi calling to work. When I try to turn it on from the top control panel or from the settings page, there is a message at the bottom that says "Loading, this may take a few moments..." and a circle that spins away. Also, the banner where the time, Cricket, and the Wifi and battery indicator are shown turns from black to grey at the top. It's as if there is an app running, but there is no content shown on the screen in the middle, just the bottom message, and the top grey banner.I would like to add that my two previous phones from Cricket both had Wifi calling and they worked fine with my router. One was an LG phone and the other was a Motorola that I bought just a few months ago but dropped (AGH!!!). I'm not sure what to do at this point, as there is no support page for this device on the Cricket website yet. Thank you all for your time.
The phone has issues with security and not wanting to update etc... I noticed the APN settings with a title of Internet ( Endo) everything I have found (endo) basically is 4 wifi also when I opened the APN setting it's empty. I went to the store and basically was told they only sell the phones. I need help with how is the APN Settings are configured so can fix it myself. I will enclose a screen shot of the APN, Thanks.

I’m dealing with the iPhone of my 98-year-old mother. She has suffered some cognitive decline during the past 60 days. She also fell last Sunday, was admitted to the ER, and has now moved to a nursing home. After 71 years, 7 months, and 18 days in that house, it’s likely that she’ll never go back.I can text the existing number via iMessage. The store tries to text a PIN to the phone, but it doesn’t go through (probably because it needs cellular service, which is what we’re trying to reactivate).I don’t know whether we’re still within the 60-day window to reactivate the same number.I have everything except the PIN. I tried to log in with number and password and am told that account is cancelled. The iPhone is her lifeline.I’m currently at a Cricket store, and am told that this store (and perhaps others) no longer has the ability to bypass the PIN.It seems to me that there has to be a way to escalate this, given the circumstances.Anyone know whom I might contact?Vince Lackner

Cricket here! Were are sorry but your text message failed. Your destination is not supported from your current location.
I have a samsung galaxy s8 and have been on cricket network for 8 years. It has the latest security upgrades from Google/Samsung. I bought an iphone Xr for a family member last week on Total Wireless (Verizon network). I cannot send a text to her. Each time it says “Cricket here! Were are sorry but your text message failed. Your destination is not supported from your current location”. I also cannot call her. It says “ Sorry, we could not connect your call. Please check the number.“ However she is able to call and text me without issues. I contacted cricket and they said my phone is OK. I contacted total wireless and said it must be my phone. I do not have any problems calling/texting coworkers with verizon/iphones. Any suggestions?
I have a Cricket Samsung A51 5G which I used for over a year that I’m trying to network unlock as I have upgraded and trying to sell my old phone. I tried to unlock it using the website but it tells me that I have to use the cricket app to unlock it. The problem is there is no “unlock” button on my cricket app login screen, I tried reaching costumer service but they had no answer other than uninstall, install the app again, clear cache and data and using data instead of wifi. None of that worked. When I open the my cricket app an error message that says “network unlock keeps stopping” pops up from time to time. Cricket support said once I insert a sim from a different carrier it should unlock but when I do it gives me a prompt asking if I want to unlock, when I press yes it just opens the my cricket app but nothing happens. Has anyone had this issue and how do you fix it?
