Has anyone with a Samsung A50 been able to utilize the wifi capability with Cricket? I have almost no service at my home and solely rely on the wifi option and before I order a new unlocked A50 phone I wanted to see if anyone was having success with it and the wifi calling option. The A50 is not on the approved listing for WiFi capable phones supported by Cricket and their tech support could not tell me if it would work or why it was not listed.
I have noticed over the last several months that I have not been receiving calls while at my office. I have full signal showing in the status bar and signal strength shows at -90 dBm 50 asu on LTE. While not directly next to a window, I do have line of sight to a wall of windows about 15 yards away. I often only find out about the missed calls one of two ways: text message or voicemail from the caller, and I only get the voicemail notification if I move to another location within the building. I have 2 other lines on my account and my line is the only one this regularly happens to.Quick device info:Pixel 2 XL carrier unlocked, Android 10 with December security patch, default APN settings imported from Cricket during initial setup
I'm posting this hoping to help someone like me in the future. I ordered a phone on Thursday, on Friday I was emailed that my order was delayed. On Monday it was cancelled completely. I was told to order again, so I did it is now Tuesday and my order has been delayed again. They say it's my bank not releasing the funds, but my bank said the funds were released yesterday. So, now it's a waiting game. So I will update when I receive another email. Who knows if I will ever actually receive the phone or not. I know if it is cancelled again, I won't order again and they will have just lost out on a new customer. Beware ordering online! 🤦🤦
I'm an existing Cricket customer. (like 9 years now)Yesterday I purchased a new Motorola Moto 6 cricket phone from Walmart to replace my older Alcatel phone.Everything installed and used the included new sim card.Called Cricket support to enable new sim card and registered it. All went fine, but the phone will not dial out.It receives calls fine,The internet and texting work fine. I can receive calls.But I cannot call out.No real Error message just stops (hangs up immediately) after I press dial.Can someone advise what I can do. I'm desperate.Called Cricket support and they filed a service request.They also said it would be 2 to 3 days before a tech can call me back. Ughh..So I'm without service yesterday and now today.Help..
I have seen a post that cricket knew the my cricket app was not working on the Moto G7 and a LG phone. This was posted back in May of this year. Wondering were the fix for this is. What is taking so long. I need to unlock my phone for overseas use and got an unlock code but have to use the mycricket app to unlock. Now I have to wait 3-5 business days for someone from tech support to call me This is totally unacceptable. Why do company's sell a product that they know does not function 100%.
S8 update to android pieI have a galaxy s8 g950u on version g950usqs1aqf7 and I have been told that I should be able to update to android 9, but cannot seem to do so. When I check the phone tells me the software is up to date even though it has not updated since June 2017. When I go to the help page for updating cheer is no option to update from version 7.I have been to the cricket store. They referred me to samsung. Samsung sent me to their service location. They tried to push the update and were unable to. They referred me back to Cricket and that's where I'm at.Does it matter that my phone service provider is listed as AIO?
I'm sure this is somewhere, but I can't find it. I need text and call reminder alerts, but I can't find a setting to turn it on. When a call or a text comes in, I get the initial alert tone or ring tone, but if I miss the call or text, the phone doesn't give me any more alert tones that I have a missed call or message. If the phone is in my purse or if I leave it on my desk when I leave the room, I miss the initial alert/ring. People are really getting annoyed at me that I'm missing their texts or not responding to their phone calls that I'm constantly having to check the phone to see if I missed anything. My previous phone would give an alert beep every 8 or 10 minutes until I viewed the missed message or checked the call list for the missed call. I want this phone to do that, too. How can I make it do that?
We are new to Cricket service since August, have noticed recently I am unable to send any text messages from within the default message app on my Samsung S7 to a group of people, any that contains pictures or any gifs. I've tried doing all the things I found on the internet including restarting my phone, resetting the APN settings and restarting my phone, and I checked the message center number which is 312-314-9810. It spins and spins for about 5 minutes, then errors out and says Message not sent. Can someone please help with this? Very frustrating. I had AT&T prior and did not have this problem at all. I have unlimited data on this phone and this seems to have become a problem in the last month that I've noriced.
My wife uses an LG Harmony phone running Android 7.0. When there is a voicemail waiting for her, a little message-waiting icon shows up in the top line of the phone, among the many other icons that are usually there.I'm looking for an option to display a more prominent notification when there is a voicemail waiting. Is there anything in the basic phone configuration that I'm missing that could do that?The phone says that Cricket Visual Voicemail is installed, but as best I can tell that doesn't do what I'm looking for.Looking in the app store, my impression is that most of the voicemail apps are for voice-to-text conversion. I see an app called "Better VoiceMail Notifier Pro" that maybe is what I'm looking for, but its user rating is mediocre.Thanks for any help or advice that you can offer.Ken
Whats the deal with this?I like the content on AppleTV+ but everytime I use the TV app I have to click all the way to the bottom to finally get to AppleTV+ shows.Even worse is I literally don't use the TV app for anything else except AppleTV+ content. You would think by now the advanced AI would know to put AppleTV+ content on the first row. But no. It buries it waaayyyyyy down the bottom.Even worse a ton of the rows above are for HBO, Netflix, Showtime, ect......stuff I don't even had subscriptions to. Why are they showing me all this crap I don't have access to?
Hi there! I'm new to the community. I am in search of some wisdom. I am trying to decide between the Moto 7 Supra and the Galaxy s9. I am in the process of becoming a single mom, but I do need a good working phone that will last me a while and will do more than just be a basic phone. Both of these phones seem to have decent ratings, but I'd love to hear your pros and cons. Or even better, someone who has used them both. The price on the Galaxy is more expensive, so not spending as much would be great. But I don't want to spend it if the cheaper phone is comparable and dependable. I definitely need dependable, something where the OS will be supported for a decent amount of time (I have old phone/mac that are not supported anymore on many sites including bank.)Thanks for your hellp!
I just got my new cricket wireless phone, LG Stylo 3, 2 days ago and am having all kinds of problems. This post will just be about email. I tried setting up my email account and it went through but most of the time I can't send anything out and only a few emails come in. So I created a yahoo account just for trying on the LG Stylo 3 and I can log in fine with both my computers and my iPad but when trying to set it up on the LG Stylo 3, it kept telling me my sign in information was incorrect. I tried a good 10 times and each time the information was correct. I had copied and pasted the information and printed it out. Am I having major software problems? Is anyone else having problems creating email accounts? I can't move my apps around either or create folders. Please advise. Thank you, Martha
