I have tried to communicate with Cricket Customer Service for the last 2 weeks about a dozen times. I wanted to upgrade from an LG with a new Samsung phone and purchased a phone that was available only online. I waited 10 days and received nothing in the mail. I never got a refund either. I did get a credit for the upgrade fee but not the fee for the phone or the taxes. When I called 1-800-274-2538 to find out what happened, I had several agents hang up and others who were plain rude. One agent mentioned that the phone was shipped to the wrong address and then the order was canceled. I never got a notification. I was told that I should go to a Cricket store but the deal was only available online so that made no sense. Then I was given no choice but to reorder and repay it again and I did. The rates for Cricket are very competitive otherwise, I would have switched. Even after the second order, the communication provided is just lacking or awful.
I have an LG G4, with the latest version of Messages app installed. My attempts to resolve my issue also included checking the settings for the Network Access Point where I have made sure my settings match what the cricketwireless website state the settings should be.It takes hours -and days- to get MMS group messaging to download. I am beyond frustrated and thinking to cancel my Cricket subscription. Group MMS is a fundamental piece of my cell phone communications.What else I can fix/set/reconfigure on my phone to get MMS to work more reliably? If this is a cell coverage problem, how can I determine that?Thanks in advance
My son has an iPhone 7 Plus and I have a iPhone 7. Both phones are replacement phones due to poor service. Both phones worked flawlessly and almost simultaneously both phones now have service issues just like our iPhone 6’s did. When talking on the phone we can hear everything clear as can be but the person that we are speaking to can not hear us. I have called customer service more than a handful of times to get the run around, I have driven to the actual store that is 14 miles one way from my home to be sold two new SIM cards that did absolutely nothing. Now I’m being told that I need to do another insurance claim and purchase two iPhone 8’s? Any help would be wonderful before I change phone services.
I bought a Motorola g7 supra from cricket online, and it had a light crack on the bottom of the screen, so I sent it back and bought a couple others, one for me and one for my dad. they apparently received the phone, but are refusing to refund my 180$. how do I get my refund? I've been at this for over a month now and I feel like they stole $180 from me even after they said they would refund it after they received the phone. I supplied the tracking number, original card used to make the transaction, I still have the bank statement, everything. and they are playing dumb everytime I call customer service and sending me around from one person to another and giving me different stories. I figured this would be my last resort to see if someone could help me out before I take this to the better business bureau and then small claims court
Hello.. I am an existing customer now for years using cricket wireless. I just saw a new "Cricket Moto G6" phone on sale at Walmart.Question : Can I just buy this phone from Walmart and take my existing Cricket Sim card from my current Alcatel Idol 3 phone and activate the new Cricket Moto G6 phone ? Or do I need another Sim card from Cricket or Walmart? Would be nice to avoid the $25 fee from cricket. Also the fact the new Walmart phone says "Cricket Moto G6" would that cause a problem? Thank you so much for your help.
My iPhone 8 is having problems with mobile data. Mainly with iMessage, most of the time my messages will take minutes to send, if at all. I have tried everything: turning on and off cellular data and disabling and enabling LTE. I tried turning iMessage on and off. Resetting network settings. Restarting the phone. I have tried all these multiple times.
I had my Iphone 7 for a while then it Fell into a boot loop so I had to reset it and now it says unable to activate but when i update it on Itunes it says cant pull activation from sim card of some sort i checked my sim card and it is cricket, I dont know if I can get a replacement phone or what?
Hello! I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ with the 9.1 Software while my son has a Galaxy S8 with the 7.0 Software. I would like to know how he could update his software to the one similar to mine.His original carrier was AT&T until we switched over to Cricket.The Model Number is SM-G950U.
I got a new phone and it is not blacklisted but after 30 minutes or so the phone keeps getting reported lost/stolen after I try to activate it.I just want to know why it is doing it because all the things that I have read online says the phone is blacklisted when it does that but it is not blacklisted
I currently have a LG Escape 3 and up until recently I liked the Visual Voicemail app that was on the phone. However, it appears to have been updated as recently as two days ago and now it no longer works.When I get voicemails, they no longer are accessible thru Visual Voicemail, and if I try to check the "Greeting" it just spins forever and if I go back to the Settings page I get this constant "Unavailable at this time" message at the bottom of the screen..I just wondered if it was an issue with the app, my phone, and if I'm going to need to factory reset it or not to get it to work again? Couple days ago I switched over to Cricket and brought my own device (iPhone 6s) and transferred my phone number.I activated the SIM card and I'm able to make phone calls, data and single text messages, but I'm not able to send Group Texts. I called the hotline and walked through the usual steps, OS upgrade, Network Reset, re-boot. At the end of the day they couldn't help. With the SIM Card from Cricket I'm not able to see the Carrier Network Configuration option under Settings/Cellular/Carrier Services to update the APN settings manually. They actually should automatically update with the SIM card, but since Group Message are not working I suspect an incorrect configuration. Any help is appreciated
Our service has been very hit or miss and we decided to go with another carrier. My phone went through with no issues but my husband’s that he bought is still in the magic six months. We called and they even admitted that our service was only on the good side but the “system” would not allow for an override to the phone lock. We have to turn off the cellular service or use our WiFi to make calls at home. We were not told about the phone lock with purchase. We were told we could leave at any time. Sure you can leave but not with their phone even though we paid for it. Crappy service and crappy practices.
Why is it not listed on the website, when you purchase a phone at full price, you are locked in 6mos
I purchased an Iphone from Cricket at full price. The store never said that you were now locked into contract for 6 months. I looked at the website and don't find it there. It says you are not locked into an annual contract. Why does it not say you ARE LOCKED INTO 6 MONTHS. Tried to talk to a manager at customer service. Apparently I was told they do not take calls from customers. What the heck? TOTALLY FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!
