After using Airplane mode yesterday about an hour later I lost Mobile Data connection and have not been able to get connected to the Internet either from WiFi or Mobile Data. I have completed Level 1 troubleshooting(APN settings, start/restart, etc) Please help.Thank you.
CHUWI Hi9 Pro 8.4" 4G LTE Tablet Unlocked. Seems like only gremlins know if a device will work or not? Always geared to the IMEI code. I don't have that and will not purchase if now compatible with Cricket. Carriers point me to Chuwi and Chuwi points me toward carriers? How can I confirm or deny that this device will actually work? Seems silly to buy the device only to discover it doesn't work! Thanks.
Less than 2 months ago I bought a new Nokia 3.1 Plus running Android Pie. So far I've been able to download 2 updates with no problems. Yesterday another one popped up and I haven't been able to download it. I keep getting this message "Previous DM session is still working. Please try again later." I searched online, didn't find much. I did find that DM stands for Device Management and supposedly means something running in the background. I turned off all of my backups. Still the same message. Has anyone ran into this problem before? Or anyone have a fix? Cricket CS was no help as usual and told me to contact the manufacturer, even though it does state Cricket Wireless software update.
Why can't be approved to pay for the hotspot when my phone is working great as a hotspot? I own a new from Samsung s9+ phone. If the rules states you should use an eligible phone to work for the hotspot. Why my phone is not allowed to use the hot spot? I just want to pay the fees so I ca use my tablet, since my vision is not that good. I was told to stop using the hot spot or they will suspend my line. I went to their office and I paid for one other pho e that was on their list of eligible to use the hot spot. I have 4 lines. I tried to use that lines hot spot but it did not work. So why can't I just pay for my phone that fee so I can continue to use my hot spot? My husband is ready to drop the service and go to other carriers.
Does Cricket plan on carrying the s10e, s10 or s10+? You've always had such a small selection of phones to choose from. How do you plan on retaining customers with your selection of devices, relatively high service prices compared to the competition and not to mention the AWFUL phone payment service through progressive leasing. Not seeing much reason to stay a customer.
Hello,I've been using an antiquated device (HTC Desire 520 // Android 5.1 Lollipop) for over three years now. I own a brand new iPhone 6s Plus that I would much prefer switching to. The new device was purchased outright, is unlocked, and I own it-- I am not locked into any carrier.I've been a Cricket customer for over half a decade, and would prefer to remain as such.My questions:1.) To obtain a new SIM, what is the cost?2.) Will there be ANY delay in service-- either phone, text, data, or otherwise-- upon insertion of the new SIM into the iPhone?(I ask because, in the past, there has been a dreadful "migration" which I don't feel should have occurred when no phone number or service change was undertaken-- only an upgraded device).3.) Are there any changes, details, issues, etc.- significant or otherwise- that I should be aware of or for which I should plan?4.) Where may I find more information relative to this, and these topics online (in addition to any answers provided) ?I simply wa
Will you be able to use the wi fi calling feature on a Samsung unlocked Galaxy 8+ G955U or a Galaxy Note 8 or 9? I have gotten different answers from everybody I have talked to at Cricket. I had bought a LG V30+ unlocked and it wouldn't work at all with Cricket and had to send it back. If they won't allow you to use this feature on unlocked phones, then I will need to look for another carrier, because I need it for where I live. The Moto E5 is to small of storage and doesn't work right at all!! Thanks
the wifi on my lg x charge keeps dropping every few minutes. the cricket wifi-manager was never turned on and it doesn't make a bit of difference. It started 2 auto updates ago and after the last auto update it drops every few minutes signal strength is steady and strong. My wifes phone my daughter, son in-law, son's, and 2 granddaughters have no problems.
I purchased a Cricket compatible and supposedly unlocked Samsung Galaxy s7 from a well-reviewed user on Ebay. I purchased a Cricket universal sim card from Best Buy and went through the activation process here. I wanted to keep my previous phone number, and the new phone shows up under my number on the My Account page. I got a notification saying changes had been made to my account on my old phone as well. The problem is that I keep getting an invalid sim card notification on the new device. I've tried a factory reset and I can't insert my old phone's sim card into the new one as they are different sizes (micro in old, nano in new) to see if the phone is indeed unlocked. How can I get this thing activated and working?
On April 5th 2019 I switched to 3 for $90 plan and immediately lost internet /data.Today is April 10th and I still don't have internet or data on my iPhone 6S Plus. After going through all the steps they wanted me to do and not getting anywhere they told me that my SIM card is bad and to go to a Cricket store to buy one and have it installed.I did that this morning but I still can't get the internet and data. The cricket guy put the new SIM card in a different phone and it didn't work there either. So he told me that the problem isn't with the SIM card or my phone but with my number and that the store couldn't help and to call 611 again.Just talked to a 611 support guy who is telling me to go to the store for help! This is just ridiculous!!!called them again and the guy told me to do network reset for the 4th time... said he would call back in 3 minutes and never called back.I'm really frustrated how terrible Cricked has been acting - no real help at all. And tomorrow will be my day 6 w
Good evening!I purchased an Apple XS Max outright from Cricket Wireless in February. About 3 weeks into service, my employer offered to move my number to our Verizon corporate account, and cover the cost of my phone service. I saw this as a monthly savings in my pocket, and would stop having to carry two different cell phones, so I jumped at the chance when my service period was over with Cricket. I paid for my device outright and was not enrolled in some sort of plan, so I assumed all was OK.Phone number ported over to Verizon correctly, placed my new Verizon SIM in the XS Max, and was told that the XS Max was locked. Inquired with Cricket support, and was told of the policy of requiring 6 months of service before a device could be unlocked.I thought this was odd as I paid full price for the XS Max outright. I was still told that the phone could not be unlocked, even after I offered to pre-pay for the remaining 5 months of service just so that I could not
the Nokia 3. 1 plus has been blacklisted by the software companies and they are stating but they will offer no support for Nokia at all due to a breach with the Android contract by enforcing phone encryption software Developers will make no new software or games for Nokia platforms because of the violation of the Android contract and Cricket Wireless is selling Nokia phones do not buy Nokia phones
