So I just bought a phone 2 1/2 weeks ago. I walked into the store wanting 2 things. 1.) A phone with a stylus 2.) A phone with NFC. The kid who was no more than probably 20 years old told me that he had the Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2022). I agreed that I wanted it so he went in the back to get it and when he came back a few minutes later to tell me he did not have it but had the Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G. I asked numerous times during the process of getting the phone to make sure they are both the same phones just one was released earlier according to the kid both phones have the 2 things I was looking for. I felt reassured and went on with the purchase after numerous times of him telling me this. Well guess what? My phone has a stylus but no NFC. I'm so busy running my business that it has taken me this long to set up my phone to see no NFC. Am I stuck with a phone I don't want since it's past the 7-Day return period os is there another way to get the phone I want
I just bought the LG Stylo 6 which is an awesome phone for $276 or $299 if you count the fact they charged my debit card the next day $8 for Cricket Protect and $25 for activation for total of $33. I thought activation was free on online orders. Anywho, they sent me a shipping label that has a RA number that's different from the RA number i was told to write down. So, does this mean the label RA number is for the return and the one I was told to write down and tape to the return box is for the replacement phone? The phone I received from online order has a smash back cover with is made of glass. So, does this mean I am def getting a replacement and if so are they shipping it now or do I have to wait until my phone is received back to their warehouse? If i wont receive it until I ship mine how long will it be before I get my new phone? I really need my phone asap as it's used for my business. Is getting my phone first an option? My ex had access to my sim card and ALL my info to look like it was me. I don't know what he did but my sim no longer works I'm not sure what to do cuz this community website thing just wants to send a code to my number that's not working
I recently purchased an unlocked Moto G100 5G phone directly from Motorola. I verified the phone’s IMIE number via the cricket website, which said it was compatible. But when I transferred the SIM from my old Moto Power G phone (approx 18 months old) into the Moto G100 5G phone, I am only connected to the 4G network. I reside in the Dallas, TX commuting area where 5G is available. Do I need to order another SIM card from cricket in order to get my new phone connected to the 5G network? the Moto G100 5G phone did download software from the cricket network and I did reboot it both times it downloaded software from cricket. But it still remains connected to the 4G network. What else do I need to do in order to connect to the 5G network
Used to love cricket but ever since the upgrade on everything it has been crap! only think working is email can’t look through Facebook , can’t sent texts quickly. Hell can’t even maintain a phone call! Then call 611 and they are down for maintenance ! Hope you FIX THIS.
I have a Samsung smartphone that has a “do not disturb” or “do not ring” unless it’s a person in my address book or in my favorites. Great feature to avoid scammers. My mother has a flip phone and gets a lot of unwanted phone calls from scammers. Is there a flip phone that will only ring if the caller is in the phone’s address book?
This is a Moto one 5g purchased online from Cricket on December 5, 2021. also a 2021 model. Have had service with it for 6 months. It won’t unlock with app. Inserted another sim. No unlock. Performed a factory reset. No unlock with app. Have Tried for 3 days, called 10X. 1st day they said phone could be unlocked 8 hours later. Next day got a support case#. Today they said that the phone could be unlocked after 3 hours. No unlock. Constantly receive this ERROR CODE; UNLOCK failed to generate attestation request ERROR CODE# 16781312 ENDORSE API failed. I purchased this with the intent to use it as an alternate method to access the internet. Their unlimited plan only allows 10GBs hotspot use. Insufficient. Please help unlock this phone. Provide a way for me to contact Motorola if necessary to obtain a PUK code and method to unlock the phone. CASE#- C-B7VLJO.
I just couldn’t believe my Note 9 and wife’s S9 aren’t on the whitelist? So we have to switch to another carrier?Am I understanding it wrong?The phones are still 100% perfect, nothing is wrong and is capable of 4G. in order to continue using Cricket, we have to buy two new phones?We started with Cricket because we did not like being locked and now Cricket want to enforce the arbitrary and ridiculous phone change? I am not seeing we can buy two new phones before Feb. Sad we have been with Cricket for so long.
why is my fm tuner disabled on my new icon 3 cricket phone? purchased yesterday. i would like to use the app nextradio to listen to music/local radio while i work or do outdoor activity's. we’d love to bring you local radio,but next radio doesnt have access to the fm reciever in your device. let your wireless carrier know that you’d like to listen to free radio on your phone with next radio!
I recently left my job and ported my cell phone number from the company plan (AT&T) to our personal Cricket plan. The caller ID name that shows up for my Samsung phone is still the company name which confuses people that I call. How can I change the caller ID name that shows up to my name or even something more generic?

I have already purchased a cheaper Cricket phone until I fix or give up on this one…A few days ago my Galaxy A51 5G (which had been fine minutes earlier for calls/texts) suddenly restarted multiple times in a row. After maybe 5 minutes of this, it stayed on but told me there was no sim card installed.I manually rebooted and the same thing happened - multiple consecutive reboots, until finally it stayed on but told me no sim card was installed.I subsequently figured out that if I put the phone in Airplane mode, it would stay on and let me work via Wi-Fi for maybe a few hours before rebooting itself again and again.I removed/reinserted the SIM card, reset the network settings, uninstalled all non-essential apps, booted to safe mode (still would not recognize the sim card), and went to Cricket and purchased a new sim card. None of it helped. Then I did a factory data reset, but still the same issue. I found threads for A51 restarting on Samsung, but they were not
Unable to Make or Receive phone calls since 06/08/22. Only getting Internet & text messages all this time.I have 4G LTE phone that Cricket confirms is compatible on the IME code. Customer service keeps saying Service issues in Los Angeles & it is a known issue with phones that have 3g & 4G & 5G capability. Reason is still unknown but Cricket “is working on it”. Visited the store, sales people said they know about the issue but no one has any answers or knows when/if it will be corrected.???? Absolutely NO information or acknowledgement on Cricket website. People need to understand what is happening , why is this such a secret? Whit is the issue & do we have an estimation at a minimum????
New Moto G Stylus 5g (2022) will not connect my mobile hotspot to brand new Vizio tv or laptop. Upgraded my phone from 3g and now it will not connect at all. My 3g phone connected flawlessly. I don't understand why this new upgraded phone will not. Made sure of the coverage area while in store. Have tried absolutely everything. System is up to date. It's not my devices. I do live in a rural area, I get 1-2 bars, I can get online, play online games etc etc, call, text altho reception is slow & I do get dropped calls at times, I've always been able to use hotspot on my tv to watch movies, videos & play games. Now my hotspot will not connect at all to my laptop, it keeps saying bad password even though it's correct. Connects for about 1 second to tv & then nothing. DHCP is enabled. Have changed AP bands, 2.4GHz, 5.0GHz which is preferred, tried with and without a password. I will be so happy & appreciative with ANY suggestions & ecstatic if my issue is resolved! 🤸Tha
Today I became aware that I am no longer able to send/receive calls on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 here at home. However if I drive to the grocery store, I am able to make/receive calls just fine. This has sent me on a path today to investigate this issue and to determine what exactly is going on.Here at home we have 6 phones that are all on Cricket Wireless. Two of the phones, a Cricket S10 and S9, are working perfectly and are able to make/receive phone calls with no problems. However all of our BYOD phones (2 A50's, Note 8 and an S9+) are all unable to make/receive calls here at home.I've done all the normal steps such as rebooting and checking settings, and even went so far as to purchase a new SIM card for the Note 8, but it all came back to the same results. I got the free Dream 5G yesterday. It's fast, looks sharp, but after using it for a day I've noticed it will randomly restart itself. I cannot figure it out. I have downloaded all kinds of memory and system stability testing programs to try and find corrupt ram. But they all check out. Is Android system WebView the culprit again?? It will be fine for hours and hours. Then I'll be laying down and hear it just randomly restart and check the system uptime, sure enough...yeah crashed. It has the latest update. I don't wanna return the phone, but I'm about to because it's displaying symptoms of corrupt ram or graphics corruption. I'm starting to see why they're giving them away for free. Since getting my phone from Sprint, it's been in an OtterBox. A few drops, but past that, she's been steady in my hands. Well I took off the case and feel like I have a new phone. I forgot how beautiful the porcelain white back glassrouterlogin is contrasting against the black of the camera protruding ever so slightly. The front screen, the sides. Cricket Trouble Ticket C-FQHV7E June 9, 2022. Bought unlocked Iphone 11 directly from carrier. Took home put Cricket SIM in. Has worked fine for 2 or 3 years. Was 4th line on my Cricket acct. Phone must be used overseas for 2 months. Late on June 7, 2022, put SIM in from other carrier. Error message said could not connect to this carrier. On morning of June 8, 2022, spoke with two diff Cricket tech support about half hour apart to make sure phone was unlocked. They only asked for phone number on phone to check. Both times was told not locked. That eve, tried SIM from a 2 nd non Cricket carrier to test. Same error meesage. This implies phone is locked.On June 9 called Cricket tech line 3rd time. Tech said phone is indeed locked. I said I need to speak to supervisor because I will be reporting this to FCC. Supervisor wrote expedited ticket for "back office" to unlock. Said flight overseas is eve on June 12. Was told would get phone call between 10pm and 11 pm on that
