I have an Lg Stylo 3 and have had this problem twice now! "The Number or Code you have Dialed is incorrect, please check the number and dail again." The first time, I went to a Cricket store and they had me call a representative. I was at the store until the time they closed!!! I left upset. The problem fixed itself a few days later but now has occured again and I haven't been able to contact this number is over 2 weeks!!!!This is an emergency contact of mine and a contact I fall frequently!! As we both live together!! The number I'm trying to contact is through Boost Mobile. No, it is not a problem through Boost like you've said it was. It is a problem on Crickets end that needs to be resolved quickly! I went to boost mobile 3 days ago, and the lady that helped me is through Cricket as well. She called the same number I've been trying to reach and had the same error message. I've also had my mother call and she had the same error message. I am able to send texts to this number, but ca
I did a factory reset on my phone, and then had no mobile data. Tried everything. APN settings, mobile data on, 500 internet searches. Everything fine on the phone except except no data. (WiFi fine)Solution:SettingsBackup and ResetReset network settings.Tada! Here was what Cricket support had to say to help: Me: Hello, I have no mobile data on my phone. I did a factory reset and now there is no mobile data. Support #1: Let's check everything you've ever done in your life that relates to your phone. Sorry, can't figure it out. I will escalate your case.Support #2: Let's check your signal strength.Me: It is not a signal issue. I have the problem everywhere. It started when did a factory reset.Support #2: Well, let's check your signal strength. Hmmm... Your signal seems fine. Sorry, I'll escalate your case.Person at store: Hmmm. I've never seen this before. It's obviously not the signal, since my phone is fine here.Me: Can you put a note in my case that says you
A dear friend was in a terrible accident in a fall from his roof. He is now in rehab for memory loss and motor skills. He had a cricket account, which his wife suspended while he was in the hospital. During that time his iphone was also stolen from his wife’s backpack when she was visiting him in the hospital. They have purchased a new iphone and contacted cricket to get the number added to the new phone. Someone told her that Cricket owned the number and he couldn’t have it back. For some people this might be ok, but for Lynn, with major memory loss, this is devastating. Is there anything that can be done to give him back his old phone number? Thank you for your help.
From time to time I will receive a batch of voicemail days after the callers left their messages. The standard reply is to delete old voicemail messages, update and restart phone. All of these have been done and are kept up to date and yet the problem sporadically exists. It does no good for people to leave voicemail if I can’t be certain I’ll receive them immediately. There are occasions when it’s vital that messages be received immediately. Is this an issue specific to Cricket? Shall I look into other carriers that might be more reliable in this area? I have no other complaints with the company but this ONE is enough to consider changing carriers.
I have a Cricket Samsung A51 5G which I used for over a year that I’m trying to network unlock as I have upgraded and trying to sell my old phone. I tried to unlock it using the website but it tells me that I have to use the cricket app to unlock it. The problem is there is no “unlock” button on my cricket app login screen, I tried reaching costumer service but they had no answer other than uninstall, install the app again, clear cache and data and using data instead of wifi. None of that worked. When I open the my cricket app an error message that says “network unlock keeps stopping” pops up from time to time. Cricket support said once I insert a sim from a different carrier it should unlock but when I do it gives me a prompt asking if I want to unlock, when I press yes it just opens the my cricket app but nothing happens. Has anyone had this issue and how do you fix it?
My daughter switched from a Galaxy S9 to an iPhone 12. She is no longer receiving texts from me (Pixel 3 also on Cricket). I wondered if it had something to do with RCS (called Chat Features in Google Messages). So, I turned it off on my phone and, sure enough, my text went through.I have had RCS enabled for quite some time and have not had issues sending to other iPhone users. That makes me think it’s something specific to iPhone 12. We did work with a Cricket customer service rep who had us update to the latest iOS and he also “refreshed the network” and had us restart the phone. Nothing has worked so far.Is anyone else having similar issues or has someone solved this problem?
Hi there, Thanks for helping me with my dispute before but now I am having an issue with unlocking my phone. I purchased the locked IPhone SE last November and have been using your service since then. I have met the 6 month requirement but it says that I can't unlock it. I used my cricket SIM card primarily on the other IPhone 11 that I purchased myself, it was unlocked when I purchased it. Most of the time I used the IPhone SE without the SIM card. As I have been using your service for the entire 6 months period, and I only used the SIM card on the other unlocked phone purchased directly from Apple (you can check the history to confirm this), I think it makes sense if you can unlock my Iphone SE. Thanks a lot
I just couldn’t believe my Note 9 and wife’s S9 aren’t on the whitelist? So we have to switch to another carrier?Am I understanding it wrong? The phones are still 100% perfect, nothing is wrong and is capable of 4G. in order to continue using Cricket, we have to buy two new phones? We started with Cricket because we did not like being locked and now Cricket want to enforce the arbitrary and ridiculous phone change? I am not seeing we can buy two new phones before Feb. Sad we have been with Cricket for so long.
I have 4 Pixel 4a’s on my account, yet one will not activate Wifi Calling. It receives an “Error Identified contact us at 611” error message. The BYOD Cricket List Found Here states that the Pixel 4a is fully supported. Support claims the Pixel 4a does not support Wifi Calling and that list and phone compatibility is subject to change at anytime. We tried a new SIM and it still received the same error message. If I take my wife’s SIM out and stick my SIM card in the phone, Wifi Calling will work. I think it is a Cricket issue, but they are claiming the Pixel 4a is an unsupported phone, yet my other 3 Pixel 4a’s on the account have no issues with wifi calling.Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks
I have cricket and am on the 55 dollar unlimited plan. Most stuff works ok but lately downloading apps from the google play store literally takes HOURS. Downloading apps over wifi is very fast as expected. For example downloading the uber app (less than 60mb) took me over an hour. I have full bars and other stuff like internet YouTube and stuff works fine but downloading or updating apps is excruciatingly slow. I've talked with technical support from cricket and also with tech support from google play and have been unable to resolve the issue. Have tried everything. The phone is 8 months old and is in excellent condition. My bill is due on the 15th and I am planning on porting my number and switching to boost mobile tomorrow. I've talked to countless techs from Google and cricket and my problem persists.
Cricket Free Msg: Important! Your current phone will no longer work when we shut down our 3G network in February 2022. We are here to assist with upgrade options. To help with the upgrade process, we may re-direct your call to customer service. After January 8th, we may temporarily suspend your service in order to speak to you. You can avoid service disruption by visiting https://www.cricketwireless.com/3Gshutdown, dialing 611, or visiting your nearest Cricket store. Thank you! I have two phones on Cricket for several years. Samsung S7 and Moto G Power. Both were unlocked versions purchased directly from the manufacturer in the USA. Last Friday I received text above on Samsung Galaxy S7 phone about network upgrade. Started looking into things and the IMEI numbers for both phones failed the upgrade check on both ATT and Cricket web sites. Both of these phones do 4G, LTE, and use voLTE/ARM-WB (HD Voice). As long as the device supports AMR-WB, then HD voice is possible on 4G. It’s
If you have purchased a Cricket s20FE, do not update to Baseband G781USQU3DUCB, their latest OTA update. Your device will begin disabling the backlighting on your screen and begin to flicker when under bright areas (outside) when you have adaptive brightness, or anything higher than 80% brightness enabled outside. My temporary solution is to disable adaptive brightness and keep it at 60-70%, and hopefully Cricket will release the G781USQU3DUD4 (April 20) OTA update.I have tested this on 3 devices so far, and even flashed this firmware on an unlocked s20FE.On a related note, I have noticed Cricket's baseband versions are identical to At&T's. So I am not sure why they are 3 versions behind from At&t, or if you can flash to their firmware. Is it possible to pop an ATT sim inside the device to get the OTA update?
I got the free Dream 5G yesterday. It's fast, looks sharp, but after using it for a day I've noticed it will randomly restart itself. I cannot figure it out. I have downloaded all kinds of memory and system stability testing programs to try and find corrupt ram. But they all check out. Is Android system WebView the culprit again?? It will be fine for hours and hours. Then I'll be laying down and hear it just randomly restart and check the system uptime, sure enough...yeah crashed. It has the latest update. I don't wanna return the phone, but I'm about to because it's displaying symptoms of corrupt ram or graphics corruption. I'm starting to see why they're giving them away for free. I reset the phone to see if I could make it stable with just 1 Google account. Or maybe the transfer from the previous device didn't go smooth. So I reset it. *The only clue I have is some kind of omapc message after the reboot." It's a nice phone, but if it doesn't sort it out or someone can
To whom it may concern I am going to address a serious issue with the lies in which your company is doing. And Furthermore I do accept you too address this issue, as I am a cricket customer and have been for several years now and Furthermore I am more than upset by the blantly scamming people in general saying that the phone is a 28.8 megapixel camera! Sorry to say that when you add each individual camera and you divide its software into four cameras at 7.2 megapixels you don't have a camera that produces 28.8 megapixels you actually have a camera that is just as bad as if you were to have purchased a regular phone with one camera such as a 3G smartphone seriously lying to your consumers about their software in there useless phone that is complete junk is seriously wrong infact it's illegal to do anything like that! I hope you should know that I am a federal judge in the state of California and I would love to speak to someone about this situation I'm going through I have a Moto g powe
Hello,After purchasing a new iPhone 8+ from Cricket wireless and fulfilling their unlocking requirements, I unlocked the IPhone (from my account) I ported out to Sprint/TMobile to take advantage of their free line offer on the family plan. However when trying to activate the IPhone on the Sprint/Tmobile network, I get a message “Sorry, but this phone can't be activated with Sprint service”Sprint is indicating that the device is not fully unlocked and I need to contact Cricket. I have contacted Cricket Wireless support twice and they keep pointing me to the “Phone Unlock Requirements” which I already fulfilled. The phone was unlocked from my Account. Now I am unable to get into my account sine I am no longer a customer Can someone from Cricket wireless assist and get help get to the bottom. It shouldn’t be this frustrating. Thanks
I bought a brand new phone with my money from working yesterday, good quality, was a great deal for the features. Gets it set up, and gets a text that it’s not compatible, ends up calling Cricket and the issue gets sorted. Later I decided to update my phone, IMEI gets reset and now my phone is back to being incompatible. Note that I am not rich and I’m happy I got to pay for the phone I did, but now I had to wait a day for Cricket to be open to call them just for them to deactivate my phone number. They mentioned during both calls that my phone was 3G, despite it being a 4G phone and kept talking about some “HD Voice” feature. I barely make phone calls, why is this even a thing. So now I have to return the phone because it’s under my families plan, which by the way all their phones are going to be deactivated in February so expect us to leave Cricket soon. By the way I believe this is the list of phones that are compatible? https://www.cricketwireless.com/support/great-big-network/byod
the Moto G Power is sold by Cricket. The IMEI number for my BYOD Moto G Power checks out as “Yay! Your XT2041-4 is compatible!” The Moto G Power is literally listed by Cricket as a phone that supports Cricket’s mobile hotspots with an eligible plan.Nowhere I could find (guess I should have checked here instead of the information coming from Cricket directly) is the fact that my Cricket mobile hotspot will NOT support my Moto G Power because I didn’t buy it from Cricket. Different answers from customer service on every call, although at least they all tried to sell me a phone. Cricket was unwilling to help, despite the fact that I could have had them send me a free Moto G Power literally four days earlier when I activated the lineThe hell of this is that it is evident from this forum that this is known issue, yet Cricket continues to put out misleading information. This is how you lose a customer not for today, but for the next 40 years.
Two of my family members have Cricket service, and just recently they both got their service cut off due to that 3G shut down. They both have fairly new smartphones, and both of the phones support 4G network. What do they need to do to enable the service again? Their phones were not purchased at Cricket. Are they going to have to purchase new phones?
I keep getting text messages from Gmail accounts sending sex services and I've done talked to cricket customer service and they telling me that nothing that they can do but change my cell phone number and I've done bought a new phone and changed my cell phone number and same problem. I have done spoken to the police about it and they told me to take cricket to court. I also had court threats over these Gmail messages because it's a chain letters. Cricket better do something or I'm taking it viral where it's known everywhere.
My wifi keeps disabling. Cricket store said they have had several complaints about the same issue. They reset my network settings. I clicked forget on my home wifi and reentered the password. Wifi works for a couple of minutes and disables again. Already had my provider swap out my modem and router. I saw on the xfinity board while researching this that they are having the same problem with the LG xcharge. Just bought mine about 4 months ago. Bought 4 of them/family members. 2 are having the problem so far. Need help?
