Hey Cricket Wireless, I asked this question to the phone support and chat support and no accurate answers.. They seem like they don't have a bit of knownledge about what i am asking about, My question is basically Will Cricket's signal difference between them and my current provider of verizon matter to much? Cricket gets like -117dBm all the down to -130dBm in my area. Verizon gets like -110dBm all the way down to -124dBm where i live.. Will the difference between the two carriers make a difference in calls dropping where i live? I really want to switch to Cricket but i need my phone.
Hello. Since Hbo changed their streaming service to just MAX, their new app is total crap, it’s insanely time consuming and difficult to browse for something to watch, consequently I never watch that channel anymore. It’s also impossible to contact them about it, they are not interested in user feedback. They have made their streaming app useless. I am requesting that you partner with someone else.Thanks.
I just received my Cricket Dream 5G a few days ago and just live it so far.I am a new customer and wanted something with a unlimited plan that never slows down no matter how much GB you use.Well looking over my plan which I have the $60 one says my data will never slow down cause I have the premium plan..SO IS THIS TRUE IT NEVER SLOWS DOWN NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU USE?It also says cricket forever and I have 5G and pretty much do 97% of the time.
Today I first time joined cricket for a family plan. We clearly stated we wanted the $55/mo level plan and 5 lines. Agent said all was done correctly but when I got home and set up my online account I noticed I’m enrolled in the $60/mo plan and my next bill is substantially more than anticipated. I tried calling customer service but get nowhere. Help! This is not a good feeling on day one with a new company.
We will be going on a cruise in Europe and have the ships internet package. we don’t care about making calls but is it possible to send/receive texts? We both have android phones (Samsung and Moto) but i noted when I tried to test if able to receive texts in airplane mode with Wi-Fi on, you had to turn on WI-FI calling. I’m trying to figure out if turning on WI-FI calling so we could get our texts would work in another country or if we just need to stick with emails. Thanks.
Hi! I have a Galaxy S7 Edge phone that was running my mobile hotspot just fine this morning but now all of a sudden when I turn it on, it says I don't have it in my plan. I then proceeded to upgrade to the $60 plan and still get the same message when I try to turn on the hotspot. I am so confused right now :(
Will cricket core plan work with an unlocked and compatible 4G router? I want to temporarily use the mobile data included in the plan. My phone’s broken and I can’t replace it as of this time. But I badly need to use mobile data / hotspot to connect to family and friends using my laptop. Anyone knowledgeable on this? I don’t want to upgrade to the Simply data plan that’s $55/month.It’s too expensive.
I just switched to Cricket. Got a free Alcatel Verso. I live where there is No Cell Service. I do have DSL and Wifi.I need to be able to text via wifi. I used to be able to do it on my Droid mini, with verizon. That phone broke, and they dont make them anymore. (I really liked it too)I dont want some "chat" "phone number". Any Ideas?Thanks
Im also having signal issues with my phone now for the last 2 days. The phone will lose service randomly and I will only be able to make emergency calls and can send emails over wifi. I can't text or call and can't receive any return. I have tried power cycling phone, taking the sim card out and putting it back in and turning phone back on. What else can I try to get service?
can i receive messages from mexico with an unlimited plan? Someone was supposed to contact me but they are in mexico and they were supposed to have gotten a mexico number. I haven't heard from them so I am concerned that maybe my service doesn't allow me to receive the messages. I am in the US. What can I do?
I've had Cricket for about 2 months, so the "some older and throttle after 22" shouldn't even be mentioned. I'm on the $60 unlimited, with free Max+ads, yet I'm being throttled. I even have a notification when I login, saying that I may be throttled after 22, yet my plan literally says "premium data that won't slow based on your data usage" I've SS both of these and you need to fix it, because as of right now, you're false advertising.
The list of issues I have with Cricket keep growing by the day. Cricket tells me that my BYOD phone is not compatible with the hotspot feature, yet every month since April 2020 I have used hotspot. I called on 10/08/2020 to add an extra 15GB hotspot to my line. The representative allowed me to pay $10.00 and then told me my phone isn't compatible, and the $10.00 would be a credit on my account. I then had to place a complaint with the BBB and after a month someone from corporate refunded the $10.00, however, in doing so they caused my account to be suspended. I used the $10.00 and only paid $100.00 toward my bill that was due on 10/22/2020. On 10/28/2020 Cricket stated they refunded the $10.00 to my account which my bank account only shows a reversal of $0.00. My phone lines were disconnected without notice during a hurricane. I was left with no service for hours until I called the automated phone line and activated bridge pay. I did not have to make any payment to activate bridge pay.
I toggle wifi calling on, accept the terms, enter my address, and hit verify. The verify button spins, and then absolutely nothing happens. After that, I can’t edit the address, I can’t hit Verify again, I can only cancel and start all over. I’ve confirmed the address matches USPS exactly, and have no idea what is wrong, or why I’m getting stuck on the verify screen. Any ideas?
In my account summary page online and in app shows that I have one add-on feature to one of my lines in my family plan and on the second line it says that there are two add-on features. I currently have no add-on features nor have I ever had additional features. To clarify my question, I have contacted cricket customer service and they were dismissive and gave useless suggestions but I am not being billed for these mysterious add-ons. Thank god I just want to know why it even indicates that they are there. This is not a unimportant or stupid question, this is a valid inquiry and could indicate more serious glitches involving money at some point. Though crickets outsourced customer service agents from you know where don't seem to give a you know what about you know who! I think you do.
I have tried ordering from cricket 4 times, and each time my order eventually gets canceled, because they can't get my number from straight talk.I have sent them the Straight Talk code to port out, I have given them my straight talk account number, my ST account pin, My cricket order number, my zip code, And they will always say everything's fine, or that the problem is on straight talks end. but whenever I talk to Straight Talk, they say everything's fine and the problem is on cricket. I am just so frustrated I just want my new phone and my number.( I have spoken to 6 cricket representatives over chat, and I have spoken to 6 Straight Talk customer representatives over chat, I've even talked to Straight Talk over the phone once.) so this is ridiculous. I even bought a phone and service for my daughter just so I could create a cricket account thinking that might help. I have 4 lines and none of us can dial out or receive calls, my father is diabetic. He could get sick and die. He can't dial out for help and I can't reach him. Cricket won't help. I am going to seek legal assistance for failing to provide services but still bill me 100% for services I do not have and cannot utilize. This is a effing scam. I'm switching asap. The phones are trash. I keep all of my phones in cases and they all burned out and never turned back on after 3 months and had to purchase new phones at full price all over again. This company needs to file bankruptcy and stop false advertising their services.
My gf is accusing me of being on the phone when she calls because the phone sometimes rings differently. She claims it has a long double first ring. Whatever that means. I googled it and told her it's just Cricket trying to find a tower to connect to but she doesn't believe me because Verizon does the double ring according to her. Is it true that there is a different ring callers hear if I'm on a call already? Is this a feature something I can change?
I have been a loyal costumer for 20 plus years and when we got our new phones I agreed for the insurance the protect plus. So my question is why isn't on my account. It's been well over the 7 day rule which I find to be stupid considering it's always been able to be added after the fact and now it's not. Why do the costumers who have been with this place for 20 years not get to add insurance when 1- clearly it's been on all of my other phones, 2- I was told it would be switched on to our new phones and 3- I've been with you for over 20 YEARS!!!! I get ppl do scams when they break their stuff and will do whatever to get a new phone for free but maybe yall should document on those accounts and deny them if it happens again so those of us who have not done anything wrong can add new add -ons at anytime
WE have in home wireless so we don't need hot spot but we want to tether our teens phone to our home computer so we can keep her safe she has a Samsung galaxy Sol 2 how do we do this, the rep I spoke with at a cricket store said this could happen!!!
