I needed to add another phone to my line and the cricket agent told me I could save money by switching to an unlimited plan with 4 phones. I made it ABUNDANTLY clear that my phone has hotspot and that I needed it on my phone and not the other lines. He told me that ALL the lines would have hotspot after the change to the new plan. and my bill would only go up $5 after adding the new line, 2 days later I went to use my hotspot and it no longer worked, so I called cricket and they told me my phone was not compatible with hotspot, I proceeded to tell them that I was using hotspot for years on that same phone up until I was guaranteed that all my phones would have a hotspot. As they were pulling down my pants they told me there was no way to get my old plan back, and as they proceeded to fu<k me, they told me they COULD give me hotspot on my phone but all the phones would no longer have unlimited data and they would have to charge me $60/mo. on top of what i'm already paying.
So I’m paying $120 a month for “unlimited high speed internet” total bs i live in Glendale Arizona, near downtown, a very well populated city, there’s no reason why my internet should be this slow and I mean SLOW. I get better service out in the desert....can’t even load a picture in less than 5min , and it takes forever just to load a SONG from Spotify, I can’t refresh anything all my social media pages are stuck on the same thing..I’m not getting what I’m paying for, this makes no sense..I’m going to switch I’ve been with cricket for over 4 years
thank you for your service, I use it everyday but yet people complain about it. I love the hotspot.. cause it my back up plan or when im on the road. and im on the cricket more plan. and its unreal when I have 5 bars and LTE the speeds are like 68MB per second. cable internet and DSL isn't even that close. lol and I use an iPhone. which is a unlocked phone. what I would love is for cricket too add hulu or Netflix as a add on. or unlimited music that doesn't count towards your data threshold. other then that I have no problems at all.
Been having hotspot problem for a couple of weeks I have been paying for a couple of months cricket is not able to fix the problem and deliver the service in timely mannerSo I asked charged two month if they cannot deliver service what have been telling me is they do not have a refund policy !!!!!So the question is if cannot provide the service that twisted policy charging me it looks like you are a a Lego highway robberies , give my refund you didn't provide this service.
We have several phones and all work fine except one. On that phone it will ring if someone calls from a cell phone and work... but if they call from a landline it goes straight to voice mail. I have wasted time talking to a person in a cricket store, and call customer service 3 times and gotten no solutions. We have swapped the sim cards with another phone and when we do the phone that isn't work will work with the other sim card in it, but the sim card from the phone that isn't working will have the same problem in any phone you put the card into. So we know it isn't the phone.
I've been a loyal HAPPY customer for years. I have the unlimited Extra plan with $10 Hotspot feature. My son uses Hotspot for his tablet and for watching YouTube or Netflix... I use my mobile while he does this to watch Hulu, Netflix, email, Internet searches, ect....We have had some slower speeds during congestion periods, but have never Not been able to use both devices. My Auto pay glitched out on me making my data suspended. Just my data...I could still call and text. When calling them to find out why, no real reason was said, plus... I had to pay $3 for paying thru customers. Service. When my data was returned....we couldn't use BOTH devices, only one.... and there are major buffering. Nothing has changed, same home, same signal bars, same shows. Acts like we are on the 3 mbp speeds. Ridiculously slow. I called customer. Service, and had really hard time understanding through their accent. She couldn't help, so gave me claim # and said technical support would call same or next day
I've had cricket unlimited data/talk/text plan on the same LG phone and same SIM card for the past two years. Plan is always paid each month on autopay & never late.I ordered a brand new Samsung Galaxy S10+ 128gb factory unlocked phone directly from Samsung. Waited a few days before I put my old SIM card into the S10+ phone. Cricket has locked it.Of course now that it has already happened to me, I'm discovering it is something that happens to Cricket customers frequently. I could have avoided it, had I known. It never occurred to me they were capable of doing it remotely.Also AIO (cricket wireless) wrote over my OTA software update capabilities with some AIO constipated version. I now am no longer able to receive those ota android security updates directly like I did the first two days I had the phone.
Ok this is BS we went to the store and talked to the sales people we were at&t for many years. We heard avout the deals that were less money and owned by at&t. We expressed the only reason we were with at&t was we got coverage where we kive and travel but your offer was less money. They said no problem the coverage is exactly the same sense they are owned by at&t. This was bull. Our phone will not switch mobile networks and service areas are not the same. I said I want to switch back to at&t and need the phones unlocked now they tell me I have to be with them for 6 months before they will unlock the phone. That was never discussed when we purchased and they were told up frount if they do not work we were not staying. False sales and very rude customer service when I called. They just said I need to go to the store and they will explain. In lock our phones so we can move on sense you can not provide what you said the service would provide.
I live in an area where my cell coverage is little to none in my house. I purchased 2 Moto e5 Supra phones and got wifi calling enabled on my account and setup e911. After trying to get it to work for 3 days and over 5 hours of calls with support it still didn't work. I brought the phones into a Cricket owned store and they tried for over 3 hours and finally got it to work. It magically started working on both phones. The thought was if you disable wifi calling shut the phone down then start it back up and then enable wifi calling. BUT that still isn't working now.There must be a software problem with this phone and it is REALLY frustrating. Cricket phone support is quite incompetent, they tried telling me to contact Motorolla but the manufacturer said this particular feature is a software feature installed by Cricket and not by the manufacturer. It is the typical hot potato pass the buck. Now I'm past the 7 day return window.
Upgraded to a Pixel 3A running Android Q 6/5 build. Visual Voicemail indicates that I have 1 new message, but (also) says "You must have Cricket Wireless service to use Cricket Visual Voicemail" and closes after clicking "OK".Multiple Uninstalling, and re-installing does nothing to resolve the issue (and, yes, I did grant the all the requested permissions).Long time Cricket customer, and no problems with Visual Voicemail with Android Oreo. (I think I successfully used the app when I was on Android Pie, but not 100% certain)
