I am a new customer and am ready to leave Cricket. No one speaks or understands English in customer service to a degree where they can assist me. So I am hoping someone here can. Cricket must block shortcut texts. I need to resolve this is there a way that I can do it myself since customer service is useless.
I have been a loyal Cricket customer for 20 years now. This year my service is so bad it's reminding me of the early years. I drive all over the KC metro daily for my job. I rely on my GPS and Pandora DAILY. Rarely do I get more than 2 bars of service, and sometimes I can't even get a map to pull up at all, which leaves me stranded or wandering aimlessly until it decides to load. I've called customer service multiple times about it. One time I was told that a tower was down in my area. Another time I was told it was probably my phone that was the problem, and was told to reset network settings. I have 4 lines on my account, with 4 different types of phones, and they ALL have 1-2 bars MAX. This is unacceptable. As I have perused this community forum, I see that coast to coast people are having the same issues. What's going on???
I am interested in acquiring a cricket data-only plan for an upcoming trip to Alaska. My previous interactions with Cricket Support have been exceedingly frustrating, leading me to question their proficiency in customer service. (This comes from someone who managed offshore technical teams for a decade in cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Pune.) Given the apparent limitations of Cricket Support, I prefer to keep this plan entirely independent of our existing phone plan to prevent any potential interference. Has anyone managed to set this up recently?
I have a Galaxy 21 Ultra. I have made NO changes to my account. My loses connectivity with the network at different times during the day. Sometimes for 30 minutes and other times for several hours. I am not able to make or receive calls nor connect to the internet. Then randomly it will reconnect. I have done a factory reset, swapped sim cards, verified phone settings. I have also had the phone checked at a repair shop. I have also called the Cricket Support center and they always tell me it’s working fine. One guy did reset the network connection and that’s about it. I’m very frustrated.
So, I work on the first floor of an office building. This isn't an ideal place for cell service. I in fact switched over to Cricket for the fact that the people around me that would get any kind of service at all, were with Cricket. So after switching I've had mediocre service for the past 8 months. 1-3 bars, which wasn't great, but I could stream youtube, podcasts, surf the web, text, answer phone calls and it was better than anyone else had from what I had noticed. For whatever reason last Friday the service plummeted and I wasn't able to do anything at all inside the building, even in areas I use to get even better service than at my desk. A few people around me who use to get no service at all with other providers are now getting service. I'm just wondering that has anything to do with my loss of service. I'm on my second day of having absolutely nothing unless I stand outside in the freezing cold, and even then nothing comes in unless I stand far enough away from the building. I l
