Poor to No Signal, Poor Service to No Service
Since “repairs” were made to the cell tower closest to my home about a month ago, I now receive poor to no signal and poor to no service in my home and immediate community. This is unacceptable. I have been in contact with Cricket customer service about this numerous times now and stopped in at the Cricket store on several occasions as well. They all want to blame my phone for the problem. The phone was working just fine before they began tinkering with this cell tower. However, under Cricket’s guidance, I’ve “reset” the network three times and have removed and reinserted the SIM card all to no avail. When I leave my community, I get a consistent 5 bars and blazing 5G service. This is a strong indication to me that the phone is not at fault. In addition, this same problem has affected my immediate next door neighbor who is also on Cricket and another neighbor further down the block who is on ATT. Coincidence? I think not.All the Cricket reps to whom I have spoken have brushed it aside
No Service/Data Not getting 5G
Hello,I have a Samsung A52. The last couple of days I am having an issue in certain areas of town, including my job. I cannot get a 5G connection. In fact many of the apps, including the app store say “no internet connection” and my browser often states that I have no internet connection (but then the page appears). The No connection/poor connection is annoying as I am paying for unlimited service. I do turn on Wi-Fi at home but not at work. I would like to know if you are upgrading something in the area, so maybe that is causing my service disruption? Or is the phone I bought not good enough anymore?

I have 15 gb of hotspot on my plan…I use it with my laptop.. but I need to connect my printer also..Ive tried to figure out how to do this for longest time and very frustated .. I can not get home internet service where im at so I have to rely on my hotspot to use my laptop and i need my printer to be connected to the same network to utitlize the apps that i need to function with my printer… “Wifi-direct” doesnt allow me to use what i need on my laptop bc i dont have the internet connection..I ran across this article here on Cricket website about mobile hotspot and tethering to be able to connect up to (6) devices at a time using this feature on my phone but there isnt any instructions explaining how to do this !!!“you can use tethering to connect six (6) devices at the same time using Wi-Fi”Anyone care to please tell me how to do this !??
Anyway to change the 'order' of phone numbers on the account
So I started with Cricket wireless… and then we decided to go with a family plan. However my husband’s number is now the ‘dominate’ number even though the account is in my name and I am paying the bill. I wanted to get the mobile hotspot on my number/phone because of car trips with the toddler… however I can only add it to my husband’s number (and he never goes anywhere with the kids lol)Is there any way to change the ‘order’ of the numbers so my number is dominate and I can access the mobile hotspot if I add it to my plan. I do have a mobile hotspot device we got for road trips, but signing up for Cricket’s $10 addon is cheaper than adding data to the device through another carrier. Thank you
Hotspot taken off
I tried adding more hotspot yesterday with the app and it wouldn't let me, but the app is finicky so I tried using the website, but it ended up taking my whole Hotspot off. I am beyond ticked right now. And now I'm trying to add it back on and it's saying pending changes so we can't let you make any changes. This is ridiculous.
email to text
We are in need of emailing a cricket subscriber with conversion to text for team communications. I have tried many combinations of what is presented here and on the web searches. please give me an an example with the made up number of 555-123-4567.for example: SMTP:XXXXXXXXXX@mms.cricketwireless.netThanks
Don't understand the hot spot thing
I understand tethering which is a cell phone feature. I understand data plans with cell phone companies. How does a cellular plan offer “mobile hot spots”? Either your phone does that or it doesn’t. You either have cell phone data or not, it can be unlimited or capped. How does a PLAN offer hot spots?
Why did Cricket nuke the 5 lines for $100 deal?
I had 5 lines for $100 for years. They decided to raise it by nearly a third to $130/month. Really not a good deal at that price. I can get better deals from other providers for less. Disappointed. Plus I called after receiving the text about this price change and the guy I spoke to said, “it’s not happening, you can ignore that text”. I don’t think they informed their support people that this change was coming.
Exceptional customer service
I have never experienced anything but poor customer service when dealing with Cricket. Tonight I have a different image of Cricket because of my interaction with Polly (through chat) She acknowledged my loyalty as a customer and fully understood what I was wanting to achieve. She thoroughly explained everything to me and was very personable as well as professional. Polly, if you read this, I want you to know how appreciative I am of your efforts tonight. After finding out my payment was magically going up $30, you at least softened the shock with Are a sweet person. To Cricket Management - you have ways to go before I can give you a thumbs up on great customer service, but having genuine associates such as Polly, is a great start on changing the negative perception. Please read the transcript, and just know that I have brought you much business over the years, and I need reasons to continue you talk up Cricket. Regards, Ed McCoy
slow 5G speeds.... this is dumb
This is pretty much unusable. In some areas in Denver cricket is fine. But in a lot of areas with 5 bars and "5g" it is totally unusable. I have reset my network settings. I have warrantied my phone. I have made sure my plan is setup as the 60 dollar a month extra plan. This is really slow, mostly unusable. I call support, they tell me everything looks ok on their end, I do a test while still on the phone, and whala, it's working. Not great, 20mbps, but usable. As soon as I hang up the phone, it's back to dial up speeds. Seriously, stuff doesn't load. I can't deal with this. Especially for the price I'm paying. I never had trouble like this with boost mobile. Never. Or AT&T...same towers as AT&T??? I'm not buying that. I'm already looking to port back to boost with some free phone they have. Someone from cricket needs to follow up and fix this. I wanted to go into my settings and disable 5G and do LTE only. But the dream 5g doesn't have that option
US users, are you able to dial 2-1-1 ?
In the US 2-1-1 is an essential community services number and my county public health department uses this for scheduling appointments. There isn’t another number to call. When I dial it I always get a cricket response, “The service you’re calling is not available from this location. If this is an emergency, call 9-1-1.” I’ve then had friends who use different phone services call to make appointments for me. This has happened multiple times. Can any US-based cricket customers confirm if they’re able to successfully call 2-1-1, OR if they get the same message it’s unavailable and to call 9-1-1? Is this just not supported by the network? Thanks!
5 lines for $100 gone
I have been a cricket customer for at least 5 years. All of the time with the 5 lines for $100 dollars. We have kept the same numbers for all of that time to stay grandfathered in. Now they are kicking me off of that plan and raising the price to $130 a month. Does anyone know of anything that can be done.
Wi-Fi Calling BYOD Motorola One 5G Ace
TLDR: Can’t get BYDO Motorola One 5G Ace Wi-Fi Calling Toggle Switch to appear. I bought an unlocked Motorola One 5G Ace from Best Buy a few weeks ago because my old phone died and I prefer unlocked phones to carrier locked models and I had to have the new phone immediately as this wasn’t a planned replacement. After I bought the phone I got to researching it and realized it was supposed to be compatible with Wi-Fi Calling. I was overjoyed because the Cricket/AT&T signal at my apartment is spotty at best and non-existent at worst. I double checked and Cricket says they support wi-fi calling on all of their plans. So I went about researching how to activate Wi-Fi calling on my phone. Various carriers said it was activated in different manners, not really sure why that is, but I followed all of them and none of them got me to where I could turn on Wi-Fi Calling.I called Cricket Customer Non-service, and of course got someone who didn’t know an Apple from an Android, he read from a
Delays in receiving voice mails and my calls breaking up
I’ve had several people leave me voicemails and it took about 45 minutes for them to show on my phone. Today I had a few people tell me my call was breaking up. I called the local store and was told ATT towers had issues last Friday but thought they had been resolved. I called a friend who said he had problems talking to his son today with the call breaking up
To My Fellow Members of the Cricket Community,Hello, how is everyone? I trust things are good for you all and yours.I am writing today to ask how to set up my voicemail. When I follow the steps, I am asked for a number from my system manager. What do I do? By the way, I have tried the voicemail reset option. Thanks for your time and effort,Brian A. Shuttlewood
Service Quality and Signal are Worse Daily
Hello, I’m part of a family plan that has had Cricket for 7 years now. The signal for calls, texts and internet has always been a little spotty but it was workable until a few months ago. Recently, every day the signal has been worse and worse, with internet pretty much ceasing during daylight hours and phone calls being dropped from previously reliable locations. I use this phone for to call people for my work and I’ve had to set up a chair far into my yard to get a signal because the phone no longer calls from inside my house. My mom had to drive ten miles away this morning before her internet came back. So, we called Cricket and we’re told our phone plan was old and not really being maintained anymore which might account for the poor signal issue that has developed. I wasn’t thrilled to hear this, considering we were never notified that this might occur, but okay, I understand. It is an old plan. So we signed up for an updated plan at 25% more cost. Since this morning, the servi
