Based on my current experience, and the information I read in the community forum, Cricket LIED to all their customers.We are told by Cricket that we can "bring our own device" that is vetted by Cricket to be 5g compatible. Yet as soon as we switch to Cricket and activate our 5g phone...we find out that our 5g compatible phone IS NOT 5G COMPATIBLE with Cricket. We are then told that only Cricket phones can get 5g service.Guess what? This is considered FALSE ADVERTISING, and has been illegal for years. So how does Cricket, as well as all other wireless companies get away with illegal practices?
In September i was forced ( i had not choice) to transition my 5 lines from the 5 for $100 plan i had since 2016 to a new plan that is $20 more. I was told this was b/c of upgrades in the system ( to 5G?).OUr service has been spotty or unreliable ever since and particularly bad during last 4-6weeks. (dropped calls, calls redirected to voice mail even though phone not in use, text messages delayed by minutes, hours,even days or just not delivered)Finally realized the only calls working are Wi-FI calls. WE ARE NOT EVEN USING OUR SERVICE! A closer look under Settings → PHone → sim indicates signal ranging from -103dBm to -123dBM. THIS IS “non-functional” by any definition.All maps say I’m 5G and I can almost see the tour from my back patio. No buildings etc.. it’s country and all the leaves are gone b/c it’s winter.Two other phones confirm this lack of signal.i’ve spent well over 3hrs calling signal between yesterday and today. (mostly on hold)and not answers even though they promised
I have recently purchased more hotspot twice now. The first time, I purchased 20G through the Cricket Wireless website, and it gave me 10G and put the other $10 towards my bill. I attempted to purchase 10 more gigs, and i just put the $10 towards my bill again. What can I do to get the 20G of hotspot that I purchased?
Hello was wondering if anyone can help with these two questions i have because i am considering using Cricket.First question is, are the phone plans have contracts?And if I were not able to pay for service, will Cricket deactivate my phone rendering it completely useless as to where i can not use my phone's Wifi?
HelloI activated my turbo 2 hotspot on the $60 unlimited premium plan so we could watch YouTube on our TV and computer. It was my understanding from the website that it wouldn't be throttled no matter how much data we used. Well at 15gb data used we are now throttled and unable to watch anything through the hotspot. So is it unlimited or not?
So, the cricket plan description says that phone plans have 5g included with the service but I've only ever had 4g, my phone is less than 2 years old and I have terrible service in the middle of town 1M of download and upload speed at best, why is that and why am I not getting 5g? I initially put this in conversation but it pinned me as more of a question/complaint.
I moved a few weeks ago. I’ve been using my phone’s mobile hotspot to have internet on my computer and tv. I have had to buy several $10/15gb add ons in recent weeks.After purchasing your turbo hotspot 2 and a 100gb/month data only plan YOU REFUSED TO LET ME BUY MORE HOTSPOT DATA ON MY PHONE!!!!! Forcing me to live without internet on the computer or tv until the hotspot arrived and was activated. You literally PUNISHED me for buying your product.If you had even made your idiotic rule clear, I could have bought more data before buying the hotspot and wouldn’t have run out. But no, you just punished me for buying your damn product.It’s absolutely idiotic and abusive.A new device and data plan has absolutely nothing to do with the old phone number and plan. Nothing. It’s so freaking stupid.I don’t appreciate it. Stop treating your customers badly. This is so freaking stupid I can’t believe it. It’s like you WANT me to go somewhere else.
I’ve repeatedly been calling and texting Cricket about your HORRIBlE CUSTOMER SERVICE, and your inability to fix situations when they arise. My last straw with you guys is that you’ve been unable to give me a clear answer as to why I’m unable to pay my bill online and force me to go into the store to pay my bill and force me to pay a $4 convenience fee when I go into store. You don’t even have to response or have to give me a b.s credit it really don’t matter. I do appreciate what some have tried to do to make up for this ridiculous pattern that cricket has with them it’s the same thing over and over with you guys.

I want to buy a turbo hotspot 2 and a data plan. The choices are1. I’m switching to cricket,2. I need a new number, or3. I’m upgrading my phone. Of course, none of those are accurate so which one do I choose? What does each one mean?Can I add extra hotspot data to my data only plan like I can with my phone’s mobile hotspot if needed?Can you give instructions for buying and setting up the hotspot beginning to end? That would be very helpful.Is there a way to make my phone and data only plans come due for payment on the same day of the month?Thank you.This page is forcing me to choose a subject but won’t let me choose phones and devices, which is accurate. None of the devices listed is a hotspot so I can’t choose an accurate subject, it’s forcing me to choose something inaccurate. Why don’t you make your website clear? Then I wouldn’t even have to be writing here to get information.
I got a text that my seven year autopay was “removed”. I checked everything related to this on my end and it’s fine. I spent 20 minutes on hold and finally a rep answered. I explained my situation and no response. Then beep beep beep on phone. I will NOT tolerate this!!!Cricket is over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They won’t even post this
Since October 6 my Internet has been on and off every single day when I’m not connected to Wi-Fi it does not work. I cannot use my apps nothing that I do with my dad. I’m including my phone calls or messages when I called Cricket which I’ve been calling multiple times they offered to give me a $10 credit.
can i receive messages from mexico with an unlimited plan? Someone was supposed to contact me but they are in mexico and they were supposed to have gotten a mexico number. I haven't heard from them so I am concerned that maybe my service doesn't allow me to receive the messages. I am in the US. What can I do?
I have a cracked phone and I managed to separate my screen from the rest of the phone and can not access anything. I tried filing a claim through Asurion and I was told my information was inaccurate and was not able to file the claim. I’m not sure what to do.
I have an LG X Charge, so it’s an oldie, but my plan is still active. I need Wifi Calling to be on in order to receive SMS for various verifications. I am not in a country that allows roaming so I unfortunately don’t have the option to use that (can’t afford those charges!). Wifi calling has not been active today and yesterday.I’ve tried resetting my router, airplane mode, resetting my phone, resetting my network settings, making sure I’m on a 2.4ghz wifi connection, changing to a different wifi connection, and taking the sim card out and putting it back in. None of these have worked thus far. Any advice, or knowledge of an outage right now?Edit: Also to note, I did check and my phone is updated. There is nothing new for me to install. Wifi calling was working swimmingly up until yesterday. I’ve been in this country for a few months now.
