brought my phone from another carrier

I signed up for Cricket last week & brought my Samsung Galaxy S9+ with me. My phone works great everywhere except for inside my house. I can't call or receive calls, but can text & get on internet. I bought my son's phone at Cricket & it works great in my house? Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this so I don't have to buy a new phone?
