Galaxy Prime (Cricket) phone can't connect to 5G

We have Galaxy Prime phones obtained two years ago from Cricket when we opened our account. Today we received an upgraded modem from our internet provider with 5G and 2G options. The Galaxy Prime phones do not read the 5G signal whereas all our other devices (MacBook, PC and an Apple iPad) immediately read the 5G signal. We can only see and connect to the 2G signal.

What can we do to get the 5G signal on our Primes? We already have tried the "connect to another network" option and manually typed in the modem's 5G address--no response.

Hello and welcome to the forum! We appreciate your post. Unfortunately the Grand Prime is not compatible with 5G WiFi routers.
