I bought an unlocked Samsung S20. Samsung says Cricket must unlock the FM Receiver. How do I get that done?

Hi, thank you for commenting on the Community Forum! There are two ways to install the Cricket settings on your Android phone: Automatic Configuration and Manual Configuration. See this link for full details: https://www.cricketwireless.com/support/switch-to-cricket/bring-your-own-android.html
Yes, I had done all that when I got my unlocked S20 last year and put it on Cricket. But that did not get the FM Receiver working. When I try to run NextRadio app it tells me that the FM Receiver is locked or disabled. Samsung has the FM Receiver locked on all the unlocked S20’s that they marketed. Why? Who knows. Seems like a dumb thing to do to an unlocked device. Anyway, according to Samsung the only way to get the FM Receiver unlocked on the phone is to have the carrier unlock it.
