I'm on the gulf coast. For a few years now I've had intrusions in my phone calls. I'll be talking with someone and suddenly I hear weird breathing sounds and gibberish that is unexplainable. Sounds like aliens have intercepted my signal or something. Other noises sound like Clicks, screeching and dropped calls. What is it? Very unsetteling and annoying.
My husband's GS6 keeps boot looping, may stay up for a minute or two but usually doesn't get fully past the Samsung logo on startup. The day this started he showed me that the phone had a blue screen with Downloading on it. He did not initiate this. I later found out that it's a special screen you have to press 3 keys to get to! He didn't do that! So maybe it was a bad update that came OTA?? Anyhow, have tried to wipe cache, have tried factory reset, and no help.I tried to connect to Smart Switch but it said something like device incompatible. Not sure if firmware problem, or hardware problem, or ?Any suggestions? He had to go ahead and get a new phone but it would be nice if we could get this working as a backup.
I've had this phone for a little over 2 weeks. It's a great phone except that sometimes for no reason when I switch the Bluetooth to the "on" position, it does not actually turn on and I'm forced to reset ALL network connection settings in order for it to work. This means I have to manually re-set up wifi connections, wifi passwords, reset all formerly paired bluetooth connections, etc... I never encountered issues like this with my previous amp prime which worked great for over 3 years. I've checked for system updates but my system is currently up to date. Please help. Thank you.
Galaxy S7 Oreo update & MeltdownI just installed the Oreo update on my Cricket-branded Galaxy S7 yesterday; it has a security patch date of April 1, 2018. My question is, does this update resolve the reports from earlier this month that the GS7 is vulnerable to the Meltdown vulnerability? I'm concerned about this issue, but none of the reports I've read across multiple sources even clarify whether this involves GS7's with Qualcomm chips, Samsung Exynos chips, or both. (All GS7's legitimately sold in the U.S., including the official Cricket model, should have Qualcomm chips.) I've heard that recent security updates may have blocked some variants of Meltdown and/or Spectre, but apparently not the one first reported in August.
I have an S5 with a Cricket account. I would like to change to using an S8 while keeping my Cricket number.Since it is a used phone, I cannot upgrade. So, I saw I could request a new sim card for a different device on my current line.If I go this route and order a new sim card for the S8 (keeping my number) does that make the S8 the device now for the line? What happens to my S5?Can I then use my S5 to add an additional line and order a new sim card for the S5 as a new number? Or will it still be linked to the original account and not be available to use as a new line?
We have Galaxy Prime phones obtained two years ago from Cricket when we opened our account. Today we received an upgraded modem from our internet provider with 5G and 2G options. The Galaxy Prime phones do not read the 5G signal whereas all our other devices (MacBook, PC and an Apple iPad) immediately read the 5G signal. We can only see and connect to the 2G signal.What can we do to get the 5G signal on our Primes? We already have tried the "connect to another network" option and manually typed in the modem's 5G address--no response.
I bought a new phone as an upgrade to my present phone. I have received it and am trying to following the instructions to activate the phone. I would like to keep the same phone number for this phone.I have inserted the sim card and charged the phone. I then go to the activation page located at https://www.cricketwireless.com/activate.html and enter my order number off the invoice and the listed telephone number (which is the same one as the old phone). Click on the "Activate" button and then almost immediately get a notice that "Service Not Available".I am stumped as to what to do now as I cannot seem to get the new phone activated.Any help would be appreciated.

I was thinking about upgrading my phone to one that has more internal memory since between Android 6.0 (two versions behind) with all its junk apps and all the junk apps that Samsung put on the phone take nearly all of the internal memory of the current phone I own leaving me less than 1GB for apps I would like to have on the phone, Well, in any case, I was thinking about upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy Amp Prime 3. On the specifications page for the phone it states "Up to 16 GB internal storage". Does that mean it comes with 16Gb of memory (minus that used by Android and Samsung) or that somewhere one has to specify how much memory one wants when ordering.Thanks for any response. :-)
I just migrated my kids from the Samsung J7 V from Verizon over to the Samsung Halo 32gb here on Cricket. The two phones are identical except the Halo has twice as much memory which is making my kids very happy.However one item that they have noticed missing is the button on the top tray to turn mobile data on or off. They are in the habit of always turnning mobile data off when they connect to a wireless network so they don't go over their limit.Where is that button on these Halo phones?
I recently ordered the s9 as of thursday May 17th around 11pm. Now according the website policy if an order is placed after 2pm on a business day (monday-friday), holiday, or weekend, itll be shipped out the following business day. Now i shouldve received an email saying it shouldve been shipped friday since technically is was ordered before 2pm friday. But i still have not received any sort of email besides the one that stated my order was placed.
