I just bought a new Samsung Galaxy A11 phone yesterday from a Cricket store. I cannot get Wifi calling to work. When I try to turn it on from the top control panel or from the settings page, there is a message at the bottom that says "Loading, this may take a few moments..." and a circle that spins away. Also, the banner where the time, Cricket, and the Wifi and battery indicator are shown turns from black to grey at the top. It's as if there is an app running, but there is no content shown on the screen in the middle, just the bottom message, and the top grey banner.I would like to add that my two previous phones from Cricket both had Wifi calling and they worked fine with my router. One was an LG phone and the other was a Motorola that I bought just a few months ago but dropped (AGH!!!). I'm not sure what to do at this point, as there is no support page for this device on the Cricket website yet. Thank you all for your time.
I was assaulted and hospitalized at the end of November 2021. The man who assaulted my evaded the police and hasn't been caught yet. He has been harassing me and hacking my phone every day since th assault threatening to get my family or me if I choose not to talk to him. Par change my phone number please?!,!?
I have been with cricket for over 4 years. It absolutely pi$$es me off to no end that a new customer only pays $274 for a new s9 and me, a loyal customer, gets charged $549 for the same phone!!!! And gets charged a $25 activation fee for it also. Cricket executives must just be raking in the $$$ over this petty kind of nonsense. Cricket DOES NOT CARE ABOUT LOYALTY!!!! I'll be shopping elsewhere to a provider that will recognize a loyal dollar when they see one!
I purchased a Cricket compatible and supposedly unlocked Samsung Galaxy s7 from a well-reviewed user on Ebay. I purchased a Cricket universal sim card from Best Buy and went through the activation process here. I wanted to keep my previous phone number, and the new phone shows up under my number on the My Account page. I got a notification saying changes had been made to my account on my old phone as well. The problem is that I keep getting an invalid sim card notification on the new device. I've tried a factory reset and I can't insert my old phone's sim card into the new one as they are different sizes (micro in old, nano in new) to see if the phone is indeed unlocked. How can I get this thing activated and working?
I just purchased an unlocked S20 FE, direct from Samsung. I have also been using Cricket Wireless for about 3 years now, with an unlocked S9 Plus. However, after putting my SIM card in the S20 FE, I received a message that the device is not compatible with their network. When I made a call to Cricket's customer service, I was told that there is nothing they can do to activate my new phone with their network. Even though Cricket offers the exact same phone for sale, through their website! It seems like Cricket is moving toward forcing their customers to purchase phones through them. Which is a shame, because that is going to force me to do business with a different wireless network.
I wonder if anyone else is finding that WhatsApp isn't functioning like it should on their Samsung S10+. My main issue is when I try to search for a GIF the screen goes funny and the keyboard doesn't pop up to type the search. Also, when sending an attachment, your give the option to send it quickly to your most recent/popular recipients but when you tap one of them it just loads all the other send options.
I ported over to an Xfinity phone, Moto e5 play. Since switching I have two issues, one major.Major: seems like my Wi-Fi settings have not switched to cricket. I still have the option to connect to Xfinity hotspots. Even though I have this setting turned off, my wifi will still try to connect to the XFINITY hotspot and will show that I'm connected, although obviously I'm not. But this has the effect of disconnecting my data. So that's really annoying. How can I get this phone to switch really over to cricket Wi-Fi? I understand I'm supposed to have the option for Wi-Fi calling also, which is not in my settings.Second thing is that I do not have a cricket voicemail widget so I do not know when someone has left me a voicemail. How do I get that? Thanks!
why was my subscription cancelled after I just upgraded and activated a new phone … I am on auto pay. This has become the worst service ever. I literally cannot use ya’ll phones and no one can fix my issues. Now my daughters phone is suspended and I just keep feeding ya’ll more money!!!!
I’m thinking of buying a new Galaxy S10+ from Fingerhut. It is unlocked and a GSM phone. It says it can be used on AT@T and other gsm carriers. Will this work with cricket? I’ve been a customer of 5 years and currently have an IPhone 6s Plus that I want to pass along to my daughter who is on my account. I don’t want to buy a $1,019 phone if it’s not going to work with Cricket. I’m very happy with my service and I am worried that I will have trouble with the new phone. Also, will I still be able to keep my phone unlocked or will you lock it when I bring it in? I will be keeping my number. Anyway, thank you in advance for your help.
Ive been a Cricket customer since 2011, my phone’s paid off, & my account’s current. My new employer wants me on their AT&T business plan, & Ive been trying to unlock my phone from Cricket to AT&T for 3 weeks. When I go into the MyCricket app & click “Unlock Now”, I’m get an error code; “The server replied with a Registered Response with error code: 2”. Ive tried factory resetting my phone, Ive been to 2 different Cricket stores, Ive opened (4) case files, been to the AT&T store 4X, and spent over 14 hours either on the phone with 611, or on Cricket’s chat feature, & this is still not resolved. So, in frustration I bought a new phone & was told that AT&T can just port my # from Cricket to AT&T. This isn't working either, & now I'm in a constant loop of AT&T saying its an issue with Cricket not releasing my telephone #, while Cricket says its AT&T incorrectly entering in my Cricket account #, so they cancel the port request. (I confirmed
Help! Cricket sent me a text telling me I needed to update the software on my phone to be able to use it after they shut down their 3G network. My software is up to date but I still can’t make or receive calls! I’m using an unlocked S10+ that says it is compatible on their website.
With things moving to 5G, a lot of people have been forced to get new phones recently. When doing that, many will look to get the latest phone models. I've always got the latest Samsung Galaxy S. series and was surprised Cricket doesn't carry any of them. So they have basically eliminated that market. Other carriers are giving deals on those phones! Oh well, I checked and was told I could buy an unlocked phone elsewhere as long as it was listed in their supported phones Iist. Yay, the S22 is supported! So I went to Samsung and purchased my new S22. I also bought a case, screen protector, camera lens protector, and phone popsocket grip. I should be all set. The Sim card is the same size. I move the Sim a ND power it back on. No problem! I can make calls and send texts, so I start setting things up. The next day I go to setup my hotspot so I can go online with my laptop. What happens? This phone is not supported for hotspot!!!!! What the %@!$%# Call Cricket and I'm told they plan to supp
I noticed today that my phone has am app downloaded that I never authorized: Pluto TV. Google has a thread about this and the majority of the people from 2 days ago are customers with the same complaint. Why is this app able to do this Cricket without my permission but with your company's on my behalf?
I bought this phone from marketplace from an individual that made me believe I can put my Sim chip in it and it work as should with my number. Problem is I can't unlock it because I don't have the phone number associated with the device. Is there any way around this?
I have a Cricket Samsung A51 5G which I used for over a year that I’m trying to network unlock as I have upgraded and trying to sell my old phone. I tried to unlock it using the website but it tells me that I have to use the cricket app to unlock it. The problem is there is no “unlock” button on my cricket app login screen, I tried reaching costumer service but they had no answer other than uninstall, install the app again, clear cache and data and using data instead of wifi. None of that worked. When I open the my cricket app an error message that says “network unlock keeps stopping” pops up from time to time. Cricket support said once I insert a sim from a different carrier it should unlock but when I do it gives me a prompt asking if I want to unlock, when I press yes it just opens the my cricket app but nothing happens. Has anyone had this issue and how do you fix it?
Cricket here! Were are sorry but your text message failed. Your destination is not supported from your current location.
I have a samsung galaxy s8 and have been on cricket network for 8 years. It has the latest security upgrades from Google/Samsung. I bought an iphone Xr for a family member last week on Total Wireless (Verizon network). I cannot send a text to her. Each time it says “Cricket here! Were are sorry but your text message failed. Your destination is not supported from your current location”. I also cannot call her. It says “ Sorry, we could not connect your call. Please check the number.“ However she is able to call and text me without issues. I contacted cricket and they said my phone is OK. I contacted total wireless and said it must be my phone. I do not have any problems calling/texting coworkers with verizon/iphones. Any suggestions?
I am so incredibly dissatisfied with this service that I will probably be switching back to Verizon. I have full signal...much better than we EVER had with Verizon, but guess what? I cant even make a phone call or receive one. Customer service cant help and when I called them they said multiple things from it's an issue with my phone all the way to they'll put in a ticket with their tech support...but guess what? Tech support doesn't work weekends!!! ...and nobody ever called me back either when they were "back." I have even been back to the store twice and they finally changed my sim card. What the hell? I want a refund or something. Why should I pay for the service when I cant even use it?? Someone help me please! My phone is so incredibly important. I'm a nursing manager for a home health agency and am on call 24/7.
I just got a new phone through cricket because my last phone wouldn't charge... well this phone for some reason is so slow and lagging so badly, I can't use it half the time. I can't afford to get another phone so I need to figure out how to add more storage or do something I already deleted as many photos files whatever to help with the storage situation, but it didn't help and I don't know what to do, I tried to contact someone from cricket to help me, but they couldn't or wouldn't help so if anyone can that would be amazing
Hello,I am having trouble finding the location to which Visual Voicemail exports files. Checked Music, Downloads, other usual suspects to no avail. Tried searching for *.amr files - no luck.Steps:Open Cricket Visual Voicemail app (log in) Select voicemail message of interest Tap the 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner → Export to file A message pops up The message has been exported to: /files/voicemail-<date-time>.amr However, there’s no /files folder in the root of the phone storage or SD card. Searching for it does not provide results either. App version: 184.108.40.206215Phone: Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G950U)Android 9
