The question to answer is, “How can Cricket make the phones on the “white list” actually work and be compatible or will Cricket offer discounts in cases where we, loyal customers, purchased phones that are on that list and turn out not to be compatible?--If you can text and not talk, it probably has something to do with the change AT&T made to dropping 3G and you phone not supporting HD LTE or such. My phone is on Cricket’s “white list” as compatible. Once I ordered it, (from an independent source) the IEMI comes up as not compatible. ????I spoke with one Cricket service member and they went by the book. “Not compatible, nothing we can do.” Then when I spoke with someone via the online-phone conference, that support person said, “Yes, it’s on the list, even though the IEMI doesn’t work, it will work. He said he was going to change something around and sent the sim card and charged me my first month for the added line and the sim card. Surprise! The phone texts but doesn’t ca
I am so incredibly dissatisfied with this service that I will probably be switching back to Verizon. I have full signal...much better than we EVER had with Verizon, but guess what? I cant even make a phone call or receive one. Customer service cant help and when I called them they said multiple things from it's an issue with my phone all the way to they'll put in a ticket with their tech support...but guess what? Tech support doesn't work weekends!!! ...and nobody ever called me back either when they were "back." I have even been back to the store twice and they finally changed my sim card. What the hell? I want a refund or something. Why should I pay for the service when I cant even use it?? Someone help me please! My phone is so incredibly important. I'm a nursing manager for a home health agency and am on call 24/7.
Is there a way to fix the issue with the S22 hotspot. It is not working. I know it has been listed on a list of compatible devices but Is cricket going to add this feature? I've called customer service twice and they told me the phone should work woth hotspot based on the iemi but I could not get it to work, the second time the person was ugly about it and said I should have bought from cricket to get a working Hotspot. They did the same thing when I switched to cricket. They told me in store the phone I had would not work even though it was compatible and sold me a truly terrible phone so i went to the at&t phone i had and it did work. I know they wanna make their money, but I also dont like that an existing customer has to pay full price plus an upgrade fee just for a phone. I bought my phone unlocked as it was compatible with cricket based on the iemi, but it was the newest galaxy on the market and I don't enjoy spending an obscene amount of money for a new phone every year and
I am wanting to purchase a Samsung Galaxy note. But I do not see it online in the cricket phones available. But I can find it on other websites. I know it was offered through cricket before for purchase. I like to get rhe insurance provided, if I purchase from another retailer can I still get rhe cricket coverage. When I first got cricket, like 5 years ago.. it had to be a cricket phone, to receive the insurance. please and thank you
I got a notice to update my phone and that I needed to be connected to wifi to do so. I agreed and my samsung A32 started to update and when completed my phone starts to turn on until the cricket “something to smile about” logo comes up and then shuts off, then repeats over and over. What can I do? Ive tried to hold the on/off button and that changes nothing. When I hold down both volume up and volume down with the start button some warning message comes up stating a custom OS can cause critical problems in phone and installed applications - if you want to download a custom OS, press the volume up key, otherwise press the volume down key to cancel...please help what should I do?
I have a Samsung S8+ and I haven't received any software or security patch updates. I am still running Android N with Security Patch August 1, 2017. I have tried factory reset, wipe partition cache , safe mode, forced the check software update under settings and samsung smart switch using my computer. I have contacted both Samsung and Cricket about this issue and have gotten absolutely nowhere and not to mention I took my phone to AT&T and they couldn't even figure it out. If anyone could please help me that would be great. Model # SM-G955UBuild # NRD90M.G955USQU1AQGL
So, I spoke to Samsung today and they assured me that my note 8 would be able to function on the network as long as it has the latest software upgrade. This was also explained to me by a cricket employee at the local store. Can someone from Cricket answer the question... why is this phone not listed as a compatible device? It is perfectly capable of operating on the network as a 4g device. Is there something that can be done to correct the oversight?
I noticed today that my phone has am app downloaded that I never authorized: Pluto TV. Google has a thread about this and the majority of the people from 2 days ago are customers with the same complaint. Why is this app able to do this Cricket without my permission but with your company's on my behalf?
Hello. I just switched to using Android and I am not sure how to set voicemail ringtones for my S8. So I post this topic here looking forward to getting help from everyone. I can use wi-fi just fine but once I get out of range, my data wont kick in. My phone will just decide I have to reconnect to wi-fi. This is pretty annoying if I try to pull up my insurance card to a cop “because i’m not connected to wi-fi” OR i’m trying to use maps. Data is enabled on the phone (it’s not turned off) but it won’t actually workIs this a phone issue or a Cricket issue? Anyone know how to help me?
TL/DRBeware buying a phone from the online cricket store unless you want to risk Cricket policy hell and double billing of your credit card.Similar to @bobbyanalog I was double billed for a recent smart phone purchase with the Cricket online store. I disputed one of the two charges allowing one of the charges to go through and paying Cricket. About a month later my phone suddenly stopped working with no indication why. Spent 2.5 hours with technical support on September 18th and was told among several things that if I gave Cricket another $25, Adrian the on duty supervisor said that he would make the problem go away. Which I was having none of. Phone began working Sunday night and all day Monday without me coughing up another $25. Tuesday morning phone stopped connecting to the Cricket network again. I went to an actual Cricket store and explained the situation and he said that once a phone gets blacklisted you can call cricket and get it authorized again but due to database repl
I have had an A6 for 6 wks or so (I know, late to the party :) ). At 1st, visual voicemail worked fine, but for the past several weeks it records voice msgs but does not transcribe them to writing - ie, doesn't do what visual VM is there for. I don't know if this happened after an update - if so, it was one I was unaware of. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Thx a lot for any help.
Phone interrupts me 2 or 3x daily wanting an update, but refuses to use my data. Gives me 2 options 1) get on wifi now to update. Or 2)temporarily put this notification off for a little while- but it always comes back.I have my phone set to only update with my data because I have no wifi access at all & am not planning on buying any.So I am getting really frustrated because I don't know what to do. These interruptions of course always happen at the worst possible moment and interferes with whatever I'm working on. It's a Samsung a11 i think. I asked the Samsung people and they said it's not them so I'd need to talk to my carrier. Which is Cricket. So Cricket-- why don't you just let me get this update with my data Like I Always Do...? I don't even know what it's for.Thank you for your attention to this matter, it's really driving me up the wall 🙂🙃🙂 I don't know what to do. Help!
My sister's New A13 5G phone won't turn on or charge after she let the battery die completely when she got it on Black Friday. We took it to a Cricket Store, but apparently they weren't a real store only one of Crickets Associates Store, therefore couldn't exchange the phone for a new one. We gave them the phone for a week but they didn't do anything, it was just sitting in the backroom untouched or fixed. They gave the phone back and told us to do it online instead. My sister wants her new phone that she paid from saving up money fixed because she needs a phone for her school and so my parents can call her.
I just transferred my ATT Samsung Galaxy S7 to Cricket yesterday. Today I started seeing pop up ads randomly covering over whatever I was doing. It's terribly annoying.I checked some of the other questions and opted out at liveramp, I don't use Chrome as a browser, I couldn't find the "My Cricket" file that others suggested disabling (even after I asked it to show me system files too) and I didn't load any new apps since I switched to Cricket. It must be something to do with the new Cricket sim card. It's the only thing that has changed.Help please. This is an untenable situation - the ads are that bad!Kindra
My husband's GS6 keeps boot looping, may stay up for a minute or two but usually doesn't get fully past the Samsung logo on startup. The day this started he showed me that the phone had a blue screen with Downloading on it. He did not initiate this. I later found out that it's a special screen you have to press 3 keys to get to! He didn't do that! So maybe it was a bad update that came OTA?? Anyhow, have tried to wipe cache, have tried factory reset, and no help.I tried to connect to Smart Switch but it said something like device incompatible. Not sure if firmware problem, or hardware problem, or ?Any suggestions? He had to go ahead and get a new phone but it would be nice if we could get this working as a backup.
I just spoke with customer service representative who said they absolutely will not give the new Samsung for 349.00 to current customers..only New customers..thats ridiculous.! I'm done cricket.. I've been with your company for 10 years or more..Im disgusted you would give someone who may or may not stay with you a discount but loyal customers you wont..hi T-Mobile, hi any other company..ill pay 800.00 for new Samsung now but not w You!..im done with this company! this customer is right...always! Bye
Does Cricket plan on carrying the s10e, s10 or s10+? You've always had such a small selection of phones to choose from. How do you plan on retaining customers with your selection of devices, relatively high service prices compared to the competition and not to mention the AWFUL phone payment service through progressive leasing. Not seeing much reason to stay a customer.
I purchased a Cricket compatible and supposedly unlocked Samsung Galaxy s7 from a well-reviewed user on Ebay. I purchased a Cricket universal sim card from Best Buy and went through the activation process here. I wanted to keep my previous phone number, and the new phone shows up under my number on the My Account page. I got a notification saying changes had been made to my account on my old phone as well. The problem is that I keep getting an invalid sim card notification on the new device. I've tried a factory reset and I can't insert my old phone's sim card into the new one as they are different sizes (micro in old, nano in new) to see if the phone is indeed unlocked. How can I get this thing activated and working?
