My Samsung Galaxy A32 5G purchased from Cricket online in March with Android 11 is still stuck on the February Android security update. There is also no option to get Android 12. When will this phone receive security and Android version updates from Cricket?
My ex had access to my sim card and ALL my info to look like it was me. I don't know what he did but my sim no longer works I'm not sure what to do cuz this community website thing just wants to send a code to my number that's not working
I just couldn’t believe my Note 9 and wife’s S9 aren’t on the whitelist? So we have to switch to another carrier?Am I understanding it wrong?The phones are still 100% perfect, nothing is wrong and is capable of 4G. in order to continue using Cricket, we have to buy two new phones?We started with Cricket because we did not like being locked and now Cricket want to enforce the arbitrary and ridiculous phone change? I am not seeing we can buy two new phones before Feb. Sad we have been with Cricket for so long.
I recently left my job and ported my cell phone number from the company plan (AT&T) to our personal Cricket plan. The caller ID name that shows up for my Samsung phone is still the company name which confuses people that I call. How can I change the caller ID name that shows up to my name or even something more generic?

I have already purchased a cheaper Cricket phone until I fix or give up on this one…A few days ago my Galaxy A51 5G (which had been fine minutes earlier for calls/texts) suddenly restarted multiple times in a row. After maybe 5 minutes of this, it stayed on but told me there was no sim card installed.I manually rebooted and the same thing happened - multiple consecutive reboots, until finally it stayed on but told me no sim card was installed.I subsequently figured out that if I put the phone in Airplane mode, it would stay on and let me work via Wi-Fi for maybe a few hours before rebooting itself again and again.I removed/reinserted the SIM card, reset the network settings, uninstalled all non-essential apps, booted to safe mode (still would not recognize the sim card), and went to Cricket and purchased a new sim card. None of it helped. Then I did a factory data reset, but still the same issue. I found threads for A51 restarting on Samsung, but they were not
Since getting my phone from Sprint, it's been in an OtterBox. A few drops, but past that, she's been steady in my hands. Well I took off the case and feel like I have a new phone. I forgot how beautiful the porcelain white back glassrouterlogin is contrasting against the black of the camera protruding ever so slightly. The front screen, the sides. Sometime around the beginning of March, I purchased a factory unlocked Galaxy S8. Prior to the purchase, I checked with cricket to ensure that the phone would be compatible with their service - I was assured that it would. Phone arrived, and I set it up with no issue - or so I thought. The next nay someone informed me that they had been trying to call me but my phone went straight to VM.A bit odd, I thought, and attempted to call them...and the call would not go through. All Data services were working, the phone showed connected to the cricket network, but I could not make calls. I tried everything I knew to do, reset settings, restarted the phone, etc, to no avail and so I contacted customer support. After literal hours or trying this setting and that setting, the support person informed me that my phone was NOT compatible with cricket service and I’d have to buy a new one. I have a Galaxy S10e, and per Cricket’s page, it is compatible after the 3G sunset. But two days ago it stopped making/receiving calls. Everything else works; text, data, GPS, WiFi, etc, but it won’t make calls, and when someone calls me it goes straight to voicemail, which I can’t get either because I can’t make a call. I never reecived notice from Cricket that I would have an issue with the 3G sunset, which is supported by the fact that my phone is compatible per Cricket’s “3G Sunset” page. I talked w/ Tech Support and after a half-hour, they were able change my LTE to H+ And I was able to make calls, but that only lasted an hour. As soon as I drove away from my house my phone reverted to LTE and I couldn’t make any calls. I stopped at the Burien Cricket store and the lady there told me that my phone isn’t compatible and that Cricket is offering free comparable phones for people affected by the 3G sunset, though then she told me I’m not eligible for some reason. I have been with cricket for over 4 years. It absolutely pi$$es me off to no end that a new customer only pays $274 for a new s9 and me, a loyal customer, gets charged $549 for the same phone!!!! And gets charged a $25 activation fee for it also. Cricket executives must just be raking in the $$$ over this petty kind of nonsense. Cricket DOES NOT CARE ABOUT LOYALTY!!!! I'll be shopping elsewhere to a provider that will recognize a loyal dollar when they see one!

I have a samsung galaxy s8 and have been on cricket network for 8 years. It has the latest security upgrades from Google/Samsung. I bought an iphone Xr for a family member last week on Total Wireless (Verizon network). I cannot send a text to her. Each time it says “Cricket here! Were are sorry but your text message failed. Your destination is not supported from your current location”. I also cannot call her. It says “ Sorry, we could not connect your call. Please check the number.“ However she is able to call and text me without issues. I contacted cricket and they said my phone is OK. I contacted total wireless and said it must be my phone. I do not have any problems calling/texting coworkers with verizon/iphones. Any suggestions?
I purchased a Galaxy s10e on October 29th. I purchased a Galaxy because it has gorilla glass, high ram, fits my hand (why I bought the e vs the S10)I'm in Atlantic city on a business trip. I'm a vendor for a large camp convention. I need my phone, contracts are on the line. Same issue, Sunday morning I couldn't make or receive calls. Went to cricket store today, they said it's no longer supported. I said I had gotten weird texts from cricket "your device requires a change to continue service, please update your software version" several times. There were no available updates so I thought hey, I couldn't do when they said. No harm assumed, I'm up to date. They said those texts were informing me that my phone would no longer be supported which is wrong. I was nice, I didn't get upset, it's not their fault. They did go into the back and get me a Moto G Stylus which is nice. I told the lady, as long as it has gorilla glass, she said I needed my own screen protector. I said, no, I just boug
I am so incredibly dissatisfied with this service that I will probably be switching back to Verizon. I have full signal...much better than we EVER had with Verizon, but guess what? I cant even make a phone call or receive one. Customer service cant help and when I called them they said multiple things from it's an issue with my phone all the way to they'll put in a ticket with their tech support...but guess what? Tech support doesn't work weekends!!! ...and nobody ever called me back either when they were "back." I have even been back to the store twice and they finally changed my sim card. What the hell? I want a refund or something. Why should I pay for the service when I cant even use it?? Someone help me please! My phone is so incredibly important. I'm a nursing manager for a home health agency and am on call 24/7.
My S10+ that they said was good to go after the 3G shut down is good for nothing now. So I go into the store and they tell me get a s20 or newer (even though my daughters s9 still works) I buy a s20 with a model # cricket’s website says is compatible and guess what, it does the same dang thing. They want to blame everyone else but this new phone made the first call I tried as a test. Then 2 minutes later I get a text from cricket that the phone is not compatible and calls stopped. Somewhere they have a problem with these phones getting listed and blocked and they need to figure it out. This is unacceptable.
Last Monday I realized my phone couldn’t get a phone cal. When I call them, they told me, don’t worry they have some issues, it should be resolved soon. Until today (after 9 days) I called again they made me do a lot of nonsense things (they knew already what’s going on), after all that, she told me I need to buy a new sim to try, and after that buy a compatible cricket phone (like I am a new customer). I told her I am in a plan with 5 people if they want us to stay they need to provide me a new compatible cricket phone. I start shopping for other companies
