network connectivity issues?!
About a week ago I upgraded my plan to the 60$ unlimited + hotspot buy I csnt get my hotspot to work! I have a Samsung Galaxy A53 5G I've tried everything from hotspot troubleshooting for my device, I tried the chat in the cricket app n I've read all the articles as well as all the questions n answers on here! Can anyone help me please ? Also how do you do the update on my phone with no wifi?
5G broken since last week
I have an S20FE. It has never had a problem on cricket. Will use 5G and 4GLTE very regularly. A Samsung update was pushed out last week. The May update. Now ever since the update I have noticed that data connection always only says 4GLTE. It may try a 5G connection for mere seconds, then hops off back to 4GLTE. I have reset my network connections. I have reset my APN to default. Makes no difference. I called cricket this morning to try to explain what's happening. They said since my LTE works, I just need to be happy with that. They didn't want to admit to any problem. Either they know what's happening or they are under the impression I don't know what I'm talking about.I'm not happy with that. My phone worked fine before this update. I need an advanced cricket tech to help me out with this.
Microphone Not Working After Phone Update
After getting a recent update on my Samsung A12 the microphone doesn’t work - callers can’t hear me talking. If I use a sound recorder app it seems like the mic picks up background noise by not my voice. Resetting the phone did not fix the issue. I’ve seem some other complaints from recent phone updates and was curious if anyone is have the same type of problem.

I bought this phone from marketplace from an individual that made me believe I can put my Sim chip in it and it work as should with my number. Problem is I can't unlock it because I don't have the phone number associated with the device. Is there any way around this?
SAMSUNG S23+ doesn't work
I just purchased a samsung s23+ unlocked. When I insert the Cricket simcard, it worked for about 2 mins during which I can browse internet and make phone calls. After that 2 minites, it stop working. I can see the signal is full, I can see the 4g sign and data is flowing. Just couldn’t browse the internet or making phone calls anymore. Then I received a message saying my phone is not HD Voice compatible.I have been using s21 for 2 years on the cricket. I believe this newest samsung model s23+ also have the technology built in to support the cricket card. Could someone help me here.
No mobile data after factory reset - solved it myself.
I did a factory reset on my phone, and then had no mobile data. Tried everything. APN settings, mobile data on, 500 internet searches. Everything fine on the phone except except no data. hello I want to buy my mother a new phone for Christmas and I was planning to get the Samsung galaxy a10 on amazon for 130$ it is GSM and LTE. she is set on using cricket wireless and I don't want to buy the phone if it will not work with cricket wireless. will the Samsung galaxy a10 work with cricket wireless?
Battery degradation or usage pattern?
I havea pesky A20, with around 4000mAh battery. Earlier is used to get around 21 hr of battery, i knew it would degrade... And now it's around 15. https://1921681001.id/Days when i use it heavily i get 10 or 11 hrs. But then i uhttps://19216811.cam/ se my phone lightly for the next few days and it goes up to 15.I used to get a regular 13hrs usage when it showed my that i have 17hrs of battery...What is happening, is the battery actually degrading or it's all just about the usage... And how much more will it drop?I'm very particular about battery life so some tips to save battery would be welcome.(I was gifted this phone, har no choice. And i would have to spend next 3,4 yrs with it)
Upgrade question - How much memory does the phone come with
I was thinking about upgrading my phone to one that has more internal memory since between Android 6.0 (two versions behind) with all its junk apps and all the junk apps that Samsung put on the phone take nearly all of the internal memory of the current phone I own leaving me less than 1GB for apps I would like to have on the phone, Well, in any case, I was thinking about upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy Amp Prime 3. On the specifications page for the phone it states "Up to 16 GB internal storage". Does that mean it comes with 16Gb of memory (minus that used by Android and Samsung) or that somewhere one has to specify how much memory one wants when ordering.Thanks for any response. :-)
Over and over again
I'm posting this hoping to help someone like me in the future. I ordered a phone on Thursday, on Friday I was emailed that my order was delayed. On Monday it was cancelled completely. I was told to order again, so I did it is now Tuesday and my order has been delayed again. They say it's my bank not releasing the funds, but my bank said the funds were released yesterday. So, now it's a waiting game. So I will update when I receive another email. Who knows if I will ever actually receive the phone or not. I know if it is cancelled again, I won't order again and they will have just lost out on a new customer. Beware ordering online! 🤦🤦
Try and Try Again
I have tried to communicate with Cricket Customer Service for the last 2 weeks about a dozen times. I wanted to upgrade from an LG with a new Samsung phone and purchased a phone that was available only online. I waited 10 days and received nothing in the mail. I never got a refund either. I did get a credit for the upgrade fee but not the fee for the phone or the taxes. When I called 1-800-274-2538 to find out what happened, I had several agents hang up and others who were plain rude. One agent mentioned that the phone was shipped to the wrong address and then the order was canceled. I never got a notification. I was told that I should go to a Cricket store but the deal was only available online so that made no sense. Then I was given no choice but to reorder and repay it again and I did. The rates for Cricket are very competitive otherwise, I would have switched. Even after the second order, the communication provided is just lacking or awful.
New SIM Card
I am considering updating my S4 to an unlocked S10. The S4 uses a micro SIM Card while the S10 uses a nano SIM Card. My S4 SIM Card is old enough not to be part of the Universal SIM Card kit, so it does not simply punch out to nano size.Questions:I understand that I need to get the nano SIM Card from the local Cricket store. Can this be done in advance of receiving the new phone without disrupting service on the current SIM card in the S4?I would like to have the new SIM card ready for when the new phone arrives, but not activate it until I am ready to setup the new phone. Is this possible? Or does the new SIM card activate automatically when it is issued at the store?Are there any extra fees associated with getting the SIM card in the store as opposed to online? I didn't see an option to generate a new SIM card via online purchase.
Samsung Galaxy a20 screen issues
My dad's Samsung Galaxy a20 has very bad screen issues. I turn it on to lock screen and the picture seems to be very (high in color?) It just very white.when I swipe up to enter pin the picture looks perfectly normal, wh10.0.0.0.1 en I go into the home screen everhappymod ything looks very (white) and the phone overall is very dim, can someone please help me and my dad.
I'm on the gulf coast. For a few years now I've had intrusions in my phone calls. I'll be talking with someone and suddenly I hear weird breathing sounds and gibberish that is unexplainable. Sounds like aliens have intercepted my signal or something. Other noises sound like Clicks, screeching and dropped calls. What is it? Very unsetteling and annoying.
Samsung S8 no update since 7.0
S8 update to android pieI have a galaxy s8 g950u on version g950usqs1aqf7 and I have been told that I should be able to update to android 9, but cannot seem to do so. When I check the phone tells me the software is up to date even though it has not updated since June 2017. When I go to the help page for updating cheer is no option to update from version 7.I have been to the cricket store. They referred me to samsung. Samsung sent me to their service location. They tried to push the update and were unable to. They referred me back to Cricket and that's where I'm at.Does it matter that my phone service provider is listed as AIO?
