Samsung A53 not receiving some photos via text

Hello.  My new A53 receives some photos texts that are sent, but not always.  It's hit or miss.  My settings look correct, but I must be missing something.  My son, who is on the same plan, will receive the photo in text, but the same picture will not come through to my phone.  He also has a Samsung.  I believe his is an A13 or 14.

  1. Check your cellular data or Wi-Fi connection: Make sure you have a stable internet connection as MMS messages (which include photos) are sent and received over mobile data. If you have poor network coverage or weak signal, it can prevent messages from being received properly.My Balance Now

  3. Check if there is an issue with the messaging app: Try clearing the cache and data of the messaging app and restarting your phone. If that doesn't work, try using a different messaging app to see if that resolves the issue.

  4. Check your phone settings: Go to your phone's settings and ensure that your messaging app has the necessary permissions to receive MMS messages.

I ended up going into my local Cricket store and an employee (Nathan who is a rockstar in my opinion 😁) found the problem and fixed it.  In my messaging app, I did not have everything enabled).  He enabled it and badda bing... all fixed!  Thank you so much for following up!
