I'm buying a Tab S6 at the end of the month and I'm going to use DeX as a laptop replacement. Now I'm a console gamer, but I play only a hand full of PC games on my laptop. Nihon Falcom games, Trails in the Sky trilogy, Xanadu Next, Ys, etc. They aren't graphic powerhouses, you can run them on anything, they're mostly updated PSP titles. They are on Steam. My question is, can I play them using DeX or is it still not possible?

@MandeepDraftor Let me know if you try it out. I would be interested to see if it works. I would assume that they would consider that tethering since you're using the phone with a desktop type device so it may work with hotspot. I don't know a whole lot about Dex though.

Thanks for your sharing. Sam Sung is an ideal gaming machine. Even the hottest mod apk Brawl Stars by CoiMobile.com 2020 works great on Sam Sung S20 device

Yes, you should be able to play your PC games on the Tab S6 using DeX. DeX provides a desktop-like experience on your tablet, allowing you to connect a keyboard, mouse, and monitor for a more traditional computing setup. While DeX is primarily designed for productivity tasks, it can also handle running PC games. However, there are a few factors to consider. First, check if your games are compatible with Android or if there is an Android version available. Some games may only be designed for Windows or other operating systems, so it's important to ensure they can run on Android. Next, check the system requirements for each game and compare them to the specifications of the Tab S6. While your games are not graphic-intensive, it's still important to make sure the tablet meets the minimum requirements for a smooth gaming experience. Pay attention to the processor, RAM, and storage requirements. Lastly, keep in mind that DeX is still an Android environment, so there may be limitations or compatibility issues with certain games. It's a good idea to research specific game forums or communities to see if other users have successfully played those games on the Tab S6 using DeX. Overall, with the Tab S6's decent hardware specs and the relatively low system requirements of your games, you should have a good chance of being able to play them using DeX. Just make sure to do some research and check for compatibility before making your purchase.
