S8 update to android pie
I have a galaxy s8 g950u on version g950usqs1aqf7 and I have been told that I should be able to update to android 9, but cannot seem to do so. When I check the phone tells me the software is up to date even though it has not updated since June 2017. When I go to the help page for updating cheer is no option to update from version 7.
I have been to the cricket store. They referred me to samsung. Samsung sent me to their service location. They tried to push the update and were unable to. They referred me back to Cricket and that's where I'm at.
Does it matter that my phone service provider is listed as AIO?

Hello @Kellyh1966! Welcome to our Cricket Community Forum and thank you for your post. We recommend making sure that the device is connected to a secure Wi-Fi network and automatic updates are turned on. Most of the time updates will take place when the device has been on the charger for an extended period of time.

Yes after visiting the cricket store and Samsung service I am quite sure that automatic updates is turned on. I have had my phone plugged in overnight nearly every night for the 2.5 years I've had it, as well as many other times when the battery has run down during the day.
