Ever since I paid my bill on the 10th of February my service hasn't been working. I talked to a cricket rep a few days ago and she said she was going to reset my service and to turn my phone off for 5 minutes and then turn it back on. I tried this for a day and it did not work. I called yesterday again and the rep had me reset my mobile network and remove my Sim and put it back in. She said if this didnt work that I might need to replace my Sim since it might be the problem. She said that I would need to go to a Cricket store and have them do a Sim check on my phone and that she would even call me back today at 12pm to guide me and in the meantime she would keep monitoring my connection. This did not work and she never called back. I still went ahead and went to my nearest Cricket store. They told me they didn't know what a Sim check was but I went ahead anyways and bought a new Sim card and had it installed just incase. This also did not work. I then called today using my wifi calling because I have no service and the rep suggested I turn off my wifi and turn off my phone for 5 minutes and to remove the sim aswell. This did not work so I am now typing here. So so far I have paid for a service I'm not getting and on top of that I had to buy a Sim card that a rep suggested was probably the problem. I am pretty upset about this and hope I am refunded the money I wasted on the Sim and refunded if my service isn't able to be fixed. If it is able to be fixed I hope I am compensated appropriately for this problem. I haven't had problems in the past and overall my service has been decent until a week ago.

For quite some time I have been seemingly having issues with towers. I am in my house, which has excellent reception and just stepping outside to work on a vehicle or something, I go to call a friend and they can hear me or phone says I am not registered on a network.

I have seen Google searches saying that I am in a completely different state, none of which I have ever* been to, and I can't help but think someone is piggybacking my phone.

The reason I am here today is because I found a suspicious number in my settings for call forwarding, which I've never put there. Just for the hell of it, check yours.

There is no way millions of people can be given free cell phones when there isn't enough numbers to go around. I am seriously thinking about purchasing my own* chosen number, so it will belong to me and cannot be loaned out…

... can't help but think there's a feasible reason all these hiccups are related... and there are more hiccups I didn't touch on.
