@Shirley camp If your phone is turning off by itself this may be due to various issues including battery, low memory, or another issue. If your phone was purchased from Cricket less than one year ago (or two years for Cricket branded devices) and is not damaged you can file a warranty claim here.

@ReneeB71 Hi Renee. Mobile hotspot is a feature we offer at no cost on our unlimited plans. You can also add it to our other rate plans as an extra feature. If you have mobile hotspot on your plan and a compatible device all you need to do is turn on mobile hotspot in your device’s settings. You can check to see if your device is compatible here: https://www.cricketwireless.com/support/mobile-wifi/hotspot-eligible-phones.html
Why is it a policy to force people to stay with your service because of some policy that is ONLY in place for customer retention? Your company does not offer the LifeLine Program! You ONLY offer ACP they are NOT the same thing!
@RB69 I hate to hear you’re having issues with your service and apologize for any confusion with the discounts we offer. At this time Cricket does not offer the lifeline discount but we do support the ACP program which offers up to $30 off your plan each month for qualifying individuals. You can check out more info on ACP here. As for your concerns with our policy, Cricket is a no contract wireless carrier but we do have terms and conditions related to our service which are accepted by activating, using, or paying for any of our products or services. This does include our device unlock policy which requires phones purchased from Cricket to be used with our service for 6 months before they are able to be unlocked to be used with another service provider. This only applies to the device and in no way prevents you from terminating your service or transferring your number to another provider.
@Jonny Love I understand how frustrating it must be to not be able to use the phone you recently purchased. Unfortunately, some Samsung devices will not be compatible with out service after the 3G network is shut down due to certain software requirements. If you have already checked for software updates on your phone please check to make sure HD Voice is enabled for calls in your settings under settings>cellular>cellular data options>Enable LTE>voice & data. This option also may be available in the settings directly from the phone app.
@Bulldog If you have confirmed your device is compatible with our HD Voice network and your software is up to date please try the following steps:Go to Settings > Cellular > Enable LTE > and select “Voice and Data” to turn on LTE.If this does not resolve your issue you may need a new sim card.
Hey there @will7455. We understand the importance of keeping up to date and Cricket periodically releases software updates for Cricket branded devices. As of December, 2020 users with software version G960USQU8FTK2 can upgrade to version G960USQU8FTK4. You can find out more here.
