I ended up passing out walking and I spent the night in the hoapital. Getting ready to be released. I can get a cab home feom here but I stilm got ro go waste my tine groveling to ge my service shut off and ( never happen) a refund on the service I've paid. Good news though. The Doctor who saw me last night is a friend of the person who owns the Metro Pcs. The owner called me and they will give me any free phone of my choice and a free tablet. They are going to pay all my service on the phone and waive my fees. I only have ro pay for the data on the tablet. They said ANY PHONE THEY HAVE IN STOCK!! I really don't think any company is that kind. I'll beloeve it when Im done getting the phone. I'm not greedy I'm going to pick the same phone that I have fought Cricket to buy. Then I'll strart my 2 day walk back. Prob. back to the hospital once I paas out. Then Ill get a cab ride home.
At this time I packed up and I am doing whst they say. I I have to go to their store. I don't have a car and I am diabled. It will take me 2 days because I typically can't go more than 100 feet without resting. . My friend who loaned me the phone is terrified so she let me borrow the phone to documrnt my walk. My County is atill under high risk for CoVid and is on essential travel. Im at high risk for the iillness. Doesn't matter, living off grid No phone means I have no 911 so Imat risk if I don't do it so break is over and I need to start walking again.
Try dealing with them for 6 months. I am currently filing a complaint with the public Utilities Commission. They sold me a phone that immediately had charging issues within 3 months. I have contacted the store numerous times. Have provided every fix to this phone that is listed online. Phone white screens and won't turn on. All the websites say it is Aisian bloatware and poor connective issues within the phone.The store is too far for me to get to. So customer service tells me to buy an amazon phone. I buy an amazon phone everything works for a month. Go to the Cricket website and the hot spot quits. Contact customer service they don't provide hot spot to non cricket phones. Except they did for a month and told me to get the non Cricket phone. That I paid 200.00 for. So I try to get the 0 priced stylo. No that is only if I bring my number loyal customers that get suckered into buying lemons pay 160.00. So I get stuck borrowing a phone to use service I paid for. Then someone who cant ge
Unfortunately, there are only 3 carriers that half way work here. Verizon, ATT and cricket. All three have the worse customer service. Verizon has that issue and TDMA. Double no. I had someone break in and smash my phone with a hammer last week. Did not even bother trying to get Cricket to help. As you can see, it has taken months to respond to my still unresolved problems. There response? " Too bad so sad you already got a awesome break from us ( sure didn't) be happy cause I am don't really care." Or " well my mom had a factory defect and Cricket exchanged her phone.... No the brand did and they went over your mom's old phone with a fine tooth comb to catch her telling lies. One thing wrong, mommy would have been out full price for both phones plus shipping and service would have been terminated. Either way no overpriced cricket phone went for an older refirb. Branded Att supposedly unlocked. Wrong!!!! Bloatware and Att dialer will not allow Cricket. Funny no discount for an ATT numb
No. I brought my own phone. I got the rate plan every person gets. I purchased 1 phone from Cricket it was never discounted or no deal was ever given. There has never been any appreciation. The problem of them nto taking out my payment when I have repeatedly asked them to is still reoccurring and not fixed. I would pay more for mediocre service and have a company that appreciates That I give them my business. Appreciates that I work hard for that money. Than to hear "oh well too bad we can't do what you ask because you pay us to treat you worthless. " Or basically a Company that would rather reward the people they can steal from other companies while ignoring the people who did research and chose the Company first or have not ported their number somewhere else because of loyalty to that company. Nope sorry, no rewards at all here. Wrong person. I'm not worth rewarding.
I worked for AT&t, Cricket's parent company, back when their customer service used to be good. Everyone might possibly remember that time, it was when they were called Cingular?? Back then our slogan was "the customer is always right." Back in the good ole days when reps. Spoke English and knew where their paycheck comes from. Apparently,these days the only valued customer is a ported in new customer. Once your a ongoing customer your absolutely not worth keeping. Ported customers get deep discounts on new phones. Those new phones get all the new features added and are the only phones eligible for said features. Ongoing cinsistan customers can get the new features such as wi fi hot spot only by paying full price no discount for new phones most totalling hundreds of dollars. Coustimer service will never fix your problem because they don't get paid for that. The busier the call center the more they get paid. Plus fixing the problem like mine. Trying to get my due date pushed forward
Because you don't have a brand new phone and your not a new customer. We only give good things to those people. Cricet does not value ongoing customers who won't spend full price to get our new promotons and phones. Your old phone could definitely get the service but you are in the ONGOING customer category. You aren't worth giving new stuff to. Here's what you need to do: terminate service with us. Port your number out. Restart service us and port your number in. Cricket will give you a shiny new phone for nothing and it will be eligible for Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, since you are in that worthless ongoing customer category cricket considers you no better than trash.
