5G broken since last week

I have an S20FE.  It has never had a problem on cricket.  Will use 5G and 4GLTE very regularly.  A Samsung update was pushed out last week.  The May update.  Now ever since the update I have noticed that data connection always only says 4GLTE.  It may try a 5G connection for mere seconds, then hops off back to 4GLTE.  I have reset my network connections.  I have reset my APN to default.  Makes no difference.  I called cricket this morning to try to explain what's happening.  They said since my LTE works, I just need to be happy with that.  They didn't want to admit to any problem.  Either they know what's happening or they are under the impression I don't know what I'm talking about.I'm not happy with that.  My phone worked fine before this update.  I need an advanced cricket tech to help me out with this.

data stupid slow in denver

Me and my girlfriend both have the cricket dream 5g with the 60 dollar plan.  Both of us.  Two separate plans.  Her phone will be right next to mine.  Whenever I do comparitive speed tests with the same testing software, hers is always always faster.  Sometimes by a little, most of the time by a lot.Right now I'm getting about 1.1mbps.Without a skip, she gets 6mbps.  We are on the same tower.  Phones are factory fresh.  It doesn't matter where I go this is always the case.  This is proof that cricket is throttling whoever they want for really no reason.

slow 5G speeds.... this is dumb

This is pretty much unusable.  In some areas in Denver cricket is fine.  But in a lot of areas with 5 bars and "5g" it is totally unusable.   I have reset my network settings.  I have warrantied my phone.  I have made sure my plan is setup as the 60 dollar a month extra plan.     This is really slow, mostly unusable. I call support, they tell me everything looks ok on their end, I do a test while still on the phone, and whala, it's working.  Not great, 20mbps, but usable. As soon as I hang up the phone, it's back to dial up speeds.   Seriously, stuff doesn't load.   I can't deal with this.  Especially for the price I'm paying.  I never had trouble like this with boost mobile.  Never.  Or AT&T...same towers as AT&T???  I'm not buying that.     I'm already looking to port back to boost with some free phone they have.     Someone from cricket needs to follow up and fix this.  I wanted to go into my settings and disable 5G and do LTE only.  But the dream 5g doesn't have that option

this is some slow data

So I got the dream 5g phone for free moving over from boost.  I had a crappy wiko ride 3 that was only capable of 4g... Whatever 5g is not noticeably faster in the US from what I have read.   Anyways, this is not fast at all.  Sometimes it's slower than dial-up.  And on the dream 5g there is no way to force 4g.  So even if the phone has found good strong 4g, it will try to stay on an inferior 5g signal.   Boost was cheaper and only had a 35 gig cap.  After that it just got a little slow.  Not as slow as this.  I'm already at 22Gb because that's not a lot of data.  And I have the extra plan.   For a no holds bar extra plan, in a major city, this is sad.  Oftentimes not really getting any service.  And before anyone says try to warranty the phone, I did.  This is the 2nd one.  And my girlfriend also has the same phone, not over the 22Gb cap, and often slower than me. This sucks Cricket.  I thought Boost was a lame cell phone company, but you have a lot to figure out it seems.

dream 5g seems really glitchy, sometimes

I got the free Dream 5G yesterday.  It's fast, looks sharp, but after using it for a day I've noticed it will randomly restart itself.  I cannot figure it out.  I have downloaded all kinds of memory and system stability testing programs to try and find corrupt ram.  But they all check out.  Is Android system WebView the culprit again??  It will be fine for hours and hours.  Then I'll be laying down and hear it just randomly restart and check the system uptime, sure enough...yeah crashed.  It has the latest update.  I don't wanna return the phone, but I'm about to because it's displaying symptoms of corrupt ram or graphics corruption.  I'm starting to see why they're giving them away for free.  I reset the phone to see if I could make it stable with just 1 Google account.  Or maybe the transfer from the previous device didn't go smooth.  So I reset it.  *The only clue I have  is some kind of omapc message after the reboot." It's a nice phone, but if it doesn't sort it out or someone can
