My gf is accusing me of being on the phone when she calls because the phone sometimes rings differently. She claims it has a long double first ring. Whatever that means. I googled it and told her it's just Cricket trying to find a tower to connect to but she doesn't believe me because Verizon does the double ring according to her. Is it true that there is a different ring callers hear if I'm on a call already? Is this a feature something I can change?

Thank you for reaching out. A caller is not going to hear a different ring if you are on another call. Whether you are on a call or not on the phone, the person calling you is going to hear the same ring. The double ring however could just be that the network pinging from tower to tower.
