Sad phone specials for current customers
Many companies do this, they offer great deals to new customers and current loyal customers get the low end, it is so infuriating. I have been with cricket for years now and now that I want to upgrade I have to pay 549.99 + 25.00 for a Galaxy S9 if I was a new number/customer I would pay 274.99 + 25.00 what is the problem here? I see no deals for loyal current customers. I may consider switching carriers since this is really upsetting since phones are so expensive these days.
Did cricket break another FCC rule?
I went thru the trouble of setting a PIN and was reassured by a supervisor that only my line will have capability of changing the PIN as she set the other lines to not have text PIN access. Then I set up a secret question, only to find that my PIN was changed. So I’m seeking to know if anyone is aware of what FCC rule they broke by failing to protect my privacy?
Another customer wondering about RCS
RCS worked on Google Messages on my Cricket-branded Moto G7 for a few months, but when I uninstalled Google Messages and tried re-installing it, it hangs when verifying my number. Can someone from Cricket provide an answer on exactly what phones RCS is supported on and what the schedule to roll RCS out to all phones?
rcs in 2021 s21+ unlocked
Why cant i get my s21+ unlocked phone that cost $1000 plus the other 3 i bought for my plan not send stupid videos to eachother cuz cricket or samsung wont give me an rcs option? Come on you guys i dont want to use google messenger anymore because it doesnt customize which is the number one reason i left apple. Its 2021 and i cant send a video from one device to another without it looking like super mario 1? This shouldnt even be a topic of discussion anymore since it has been since the s9. Get it together asap or your going to lose a family plan over here.
Can't make or receive calls but can text.
I cannot make or receive calls at home on all 3 of my phones for hours at a time. Always have full signal bars. I can drive 2 miles down the road and all 3 work fine. Cricket has been absolutely useless in resolving this. This has been ongoing for 6 months. I'm forced to find another carrier. I read somewhere that Cricket is fine as long as you don't have a problem. True statement.
hotspot not working on new phone.
Upgraded to the Samsung galaxy a32 5g about 3 days ago. From the very beginning the hotspot did not work. Have tried literally every possible troubleshooting step. Stumped about 5 tech support people. I cannot exchange the phone without paying more money, but at the same time I have a phone that never worked right and for all intents and purposes is defective at best. How can I replace my phone for one that actually works without having to pay another upgrade fee and activation fee? Phone was bought from cricket, is compatible with hotspot, works perfect except it notes any hotspot connection.
Yes I have a Question about my phone company I been with over 10years, the phone my son used for about 4 years , he upgraded to new phone so we all use the older phone when 1 of our phones break and have to be sent in , but today while using that same phone they shut my service off and said that the phone wasnt compatible with the service even those ive used it for a year and son has used it for 4 tears on there service . Phone number unable to receive texts or calls
My phone can not receive texts or calls, for the third time in the past 2 months. The first time it happened I ordered a new phone directly from Cricket assuming it was a hardware issue as my previous phone was 4 years old, but the issue persisted to the new phone.I can send texts and make outgoing calls, but my phone number can not receive them. I can call or text my wife, who is also on cricket and sitting right next to me, and it goes through with no issue. When she calls or texts me back I receive nothing. A few hours later the text will come through. The last two times the customer support person "reset my network" to fix it, but it should not keep happening and I need this fixed permanently.Everything else works fine on my phone. Apps all work in real time, Facebook messenger and video chat all work fine, but anything running through my phone number is dead.
Service outage since 1/8/20
The topics here are all about selling. Hey we don't have service since 1/8/20. On 1/9 I called and spoke with Ana since she acted like she had no clue about anything I asked for her supervisor. I spoke with Ingrid who told me that service would be fully restored on 1/9/20. Well, it has NOT been restored. This is a huge inconvenience as I don't have a phone while driving or when not with another company's Wi-Fi. Even from my home Wi-Fi or another company, the calls are either very bad or dropped unexpectedly. We MUST be fully reimbursed for this mess! If I wasn't so busy with so much I would take the time to find another phone company.. Cricket is very messed up.
-125 dBm 20 asu 4 miles from cell tower. Help PLEASE!
Been with Cricket for 5 years. The reception here has degraded so bad even though we live only 4 miles away from the tower. It cuts on and off every few minutes. As I'm trying to post for anyone to help, I've lost connection 5 times. Make that 6. Ugh, 7 times 😪 Brand New phones didn't fix the problem. Any suggestions?
Cricket is Crashing phones on their network to force customers to purchase new phones
I am led to believe the Cricket is crashing phones on their network purposely, To force customers to purchase new phones. I went to pay my bill, and the representative kept trying to ask me did I wish to purchase a new phone, when I clearly stated my purpose there was to ONLY pay my bill. Recently, my phone has been randomly crashing and having glitches for no apparent reason. I'm posting this for other users with this issue to take note and complain also.

Text message and call history
I am beginning the process of divorce, and I was wondering if Cricket keeps logs of messages and/or calls that could be subpoenaed if needed? If so for how long are they kept? Also, if texts are kept is it just the number of who was texted, or is it full messages? Thanks!
A Subpoena...for call records?
Can a Cricket Wireless representative please give me a logical, reasonable explanation for requiring a subpoena for something that other service providers provide for free? A subpoena for call records...really?You realize that this is something that I was easily able to access on both my phone and online account with my previous service provider, even if I happened to accidentally delete the number(s) listed on my device’s “call logs” section. If I had known six (6) months ago of all the problems that I’d incur after switching to Cricket Wireless, I would’ve just kept paying the extra $20.00 a month and kept my reliable service with a real service provider.Sometimes it’s well worth it to pay the extra money, especially for a service (cellular) in which we all rely on everyday not just for communication, but basically everything. I’ve learned my lesson in being cheap the hard way.BTW:I also thought I’d have better coverage with Cricket, given they use AT&T’s network and it’s reach in
