I have an LG X Charge, so it’s an oldie, but my plan is still active. I need Wifi Calling to be on in order to receive SMS for various verifications. I am not in a country that allows roaming so I unfortunately don’t have the option to use that (can’t afford those charges!). Wifi calling has not been active today and yesterday.I’ve tried resetting my router, airplane mode, resetting my phone, resetting my network settings, making sure I’m on a 2.4ghz wifi connection, changing to a different wifi connection, and taking the sim card out and putting it back in. None of these have worked thus far. Any advice, or knowledge of an outage right now?Edit: Also to note, I did check and my phone is updated. There is nothing new for me to install. Wifi calling was working swimmingly up until yesterday. I’ve been in this country for a few months now.

I recently was trying to sell my old Motorola moto g7 but my grandmother insisted that I should give it to my dad in Mexico. Is there a way that my old phone could switch to another company in Mexico or is the moto phone exclusive to Cricket Wireless?I don't want to pay for an unlimited plan when my dad has worry about his data going over the limit because it is limited when a user travels to another region. So the question is, is there a third party company that could use the moto phone for service in Mexico or is the moto phone stuck with Cricket Wireless?
Why cant i get my s21+ unlocked phone that cost $1000 plus the other 3 i bought for my plan not send stupid videos to eachother cuz cricket or samsung wont give me an rcs option? Come on you guys i dont want to use google messenger anymore because it doesnt customize which is the number one reason i left apple.Its 2021 and i cant send a video from one device to another without it looking like super mario 1? This shouldnt even be a topic of discussion anymore since it has been since the s9. Get it together asap or your going to lose a family plan over here.
My phone can not receive texts or calls, for the third time in the past 2 months. The first time it happened I ordered a new phone directly from Cricket assuming it was a hardware issue as my previous phone was 4 years old, but the issue persisted to the new phone.I can send texts and make outgoing calls, but my phone number can not receive them. I can call or text my wife, who is also on cricket and sitting right next to me, and it goes through with no issue. When she calls or texts me back I receive nothing. A few hours later the text will come through.The last two times the customer support person "reset my network" to fix it, but it should not keep happening and I need this fixed permanently.Everything else works fine on my phone. Apps all work in real time, Facebook messenger and video chat all work fine, but anything running through my phone number is dead.
In November of 2021 I brought my Pixel 4a from ATT to Cricket Wireless. The hotspot worked fine until I went to use it last month September of 2022. I have the top tier plan and the last time I used it was in June of 2022. I called customer service and was told that phone wasn’t supported on the network. Voice and data work fine so the phone has to supported. Looking to see what has changed since June.
Hey,I got a cricket phone called cool pad, I got me an unlimited data plan for $60, and I added a hotspot feature for $10. I cannot turn on the hotspot on the phone, I just get a message that I should look up how to set it up online. I do own an IPhone and switched my card over to the iPhone, but unfortunately I cannot turn on the hotspot as well. Any ideas?Thanks
I purchased a Lg style 6 phone and used my insurance because it was damaged. Now customer service has said because I used the insurance and paid $75 my insurance was dropped. After reading the insurance guidelines it read you have up to 3 claims within a 12 month period to still be under warranty. Every time I ask for a manager I'm put on hold then get disconnected.
I just paid my bill on September 18, 2022 and I recieved a text message from Cricket stating my Data Usage was getting low and that was within a couple days after paying off my total bill. I pay my total bill on time every month and this same thing happened last month and now a few days later my phone is saying slow date usage and just spins buffering out of control. This is not acceptable, especially when I don't even use their data each month I use my own from my own personal internet at home on my roommates acct. AND WHAT HAPPENED TO UNLIMITED DATA USAGE ANYWAY!!CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU NEED TO FIX THIS MISHAP OR I'M CHANGING MY SERVICE CARRIERS.... When I moved to this location over a year ago my service was the best. Now over past few months it keep getting worse. I cant even get on my cricket app. My hot spot I pay for is gone. I mean, do I need to go to anouther service? We have no landline out here, not wifi. I DEPEND on my phone.
When my ex receives delivery reports on her Samsung A51 (with straight talk) phone for sent text it shows my number. She is accusing me of hacking her phone and is threatening to contact someone (police I guess). I didn't even know there were delivery reports for texts until now. She was cheating. She tried to prove she wasn't cheating by giving me gmail pswd. I logged in on my phone and somehow her contacts were added to my contacts. I am not sure if this has anything to do with this. But I am no longer logged in to her gmail. I have went everywhere looking for these msgs. For one I would like to see them but also I need to stop this in case she does contact somebody. I do not want there to be accidental evidence. My phone is an LG stylo and I have cricket. I am attaching the image she sent me for proof. My number is redacted.
I was told I had 7 days to add insurance and said ok I will call. Well I call and they will not say I had to go in to store. I was never told this. It is 4:00 and the store closes at 5:00 ( I live an hr or more from store). When I told chat representative I didn't have time to go in he said they don't close for 3 or 4 more hrs. I said no it is Sunday. Had I known I had to go in I would have earlier this week as one of the person with a phone went out of town fri so I don't even have access to that phone. I was told I could over phone but no and now I have no protection so I will probably be going back to my old service when my month is up as this is no way to start off with being told the wrong info and not having any coverage.
I have a cracked phone and I managed to separate my screen from the rest of the phone and can not access anything. I tried filing a claim through Asurion and I was told my information was inaccurate and was not able to file the claim. I’m not sure what to do.
In September i was forced ( i had not choice) to transition my 5 lines from the 5 for $100 plan i had since 2016 to a new plan that is $20 more. I was told this was b/c of upgrades in the system ( to 5G?).OUr service has been spotty or unreliable ever since and particularly bad during last 4-6weeks. (dropped calls, calls redirected to voice mail even though phone not in use, text messages delayed by minutes, hours,even days or just not delivered)Finally realized the only calls working are Wi-FI calls. WE ARE NOT EVEN USING OUR SERVICE! A closer look under Settings → PHone → sim indicates signal ranging from -103dBm to -123dBM. THIS IS “non-functional” by any definition.All maps say I’m 5G and I can almost see the tour from my back patio. No buildings etc.. it’s country and all the leaves are gone b/c it’s winter.Two other phones confirm this lack of signal.i’ve spent well over 3hrs calling signal between yesterday and today. (mostly on hold)and not answers even though they promised
I called the customer service to order a new phone to upgrade my current 3g phone on Jan 3rd. I received email confirmation with order number: 2225806324513097 and then shipping confirmation email with a Fedex shipping track number: 551419658808 quickly after that. But when I traced the order on Fedex, it always showed: The delivery date may be updated when FedEx receives the package. I called Fedex many time after that, they told me they never receive the package from cricket yet. I also regularly checked my order status on cricket online and called customer service many times. They always told me to wait and wait, even this order is a 2 business days shipping order. On Jan 10th, my old 3g phone suddenly lost service and when I chat with the customer service online. I was told the new device was activated that caused my old phone lost service. But Fedex didn’t receive the package and deliver it to me yet. How could it be activated? Since then I chatted with customer service online 3-4
When trying to activate a "Call Waiting" feature, I get the following error message "Unexpected response from network". Tried different Android phones as well as a dumb-phone, so the problem is definitely not with my phone and/or its settings.The problem has to do with the network and its settings on the provider side. Contacted the Cricket Support, but without success. Also, tried to manually query and activate as follows:status query *#43# <DIAL>Response: "Call waiting: Service has been disabled" to activate: *43# <DIAL>Response: "Connection problem or invalid MMI code"
