Internet very slow
Hi, i have subscribed to the 2gb data plan on my mobile ( i phone 6) . However , the internet is very slow . It takes a very long time to load pictures, videos and to open a webpage ,although i am using LTE , which should load data faster. Can you please look into the matter?Thanks.
I recently switched to Cricket from Straight Talk because Cricket offered MUCH better coverage in my area than Straight Talk. I am very satisfied with the switch in that I can now browse the web on my phone without having to sit in my car in the driveway. However, I am having an issue with the hotspot. Despite Straight Talk's inferior coverage out here, I was still able to put my phone on to charge in my car and run my mobile hotspot to play online games. Now you would think that since Cricket has better coverage their hotspot would perform better, right? WRONG. My laptop will connect but it runs so slow that it is essentially useless. What gives, Cricket? Why is my connection so strong on my cell phone but your mobile hotspot is absolute garbage? And yes, I tried USB tethering and it was even slower. This is unacceptable. Cricket! You've Messed Up Hotspot Service BAD! 128kbs throttle with ZERO gig's used!
Starting a few days ago the hotspot service that many of us pay EXTRA to have has been badly messing up. I noticed all of a sudden none of my Smart TV's would work, then I realized that my Hotspot speed was locked at 128kb... I thought it was a system goof and would reset when my service cycle started so I waited a few days until they charged me a new month. Now... I'm about to call my credit card and dispute the charges! The techs at Cricket have clearly messed something up and put hotspot accounts on restriction, even perfectly legit ones it seems! (Whatever QoS system you've activated is messing up BAD!) A quick google search shows I'm not alone, and Cricket support is claiming everything from "tower maintenance" to "dual apn support" and everything thing else, which all ignores the fact that we are people who have had no issues with hotspot UNTIL whatever change was made happened a few days back. I switched to Cricket in April 2020 BYOD phone and 2 other Cricket phones. All lines had the Cricket more plan to include the 15GB hotspot. I called into customer service in October to add an additional 15GB hotspot to my line just to be told my phone wasn't compatible. WERID considering I've been using hotspot for MONTHS. It been compatible enough for you to charge me for it. The best part is I wasn't told my phone wasn't compatible until after my payment was received. Then told I couldn't receive a refund, so I sent a complaint to the BBB. Someone from Corporate a month later refunded me my 10.00 only to then suspend my phone lines and request I pay 42.00 to restore service....WOW! If your not going to allow BYOD phones to have access to all your features QUIT ADVERTISING BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE. Not receiving calls
For almost a year now I have been asking cricket for help. My phone does not receive calls. Its not the device because I have switched phones and still get the issue. Its not the signal because my wife gets her calls. It even happens when I am traveling out of state over 500 miles from my "normal" area. My wife and I will be in the same room and she will try to call to see if it will work and still nothing. The phone doesnt even register a missed call. All cricket has done for me is say turn your phone off we will send a signal your account is in good standing. What else can I do???
Cricket is a Joke
The list of issues I have with Cricket keep growing by the day. Cricket tells me that my BYOD phone is not compatible with the hotspot feature, yet every month since April 2020 I have used hotspot. I called on 10/08/2020 to add an extra 15GB hotspot to my line. The representative allowed me to pay $10.00 and then told me my phone isn't compatible, and the $10.00 would be a credit on my account. I then had to place a complaint with the BBB and after a month someone from corporate refunded the $10.00, however, in doing so they caused my account to be suspended. I used the $10.00 and only paid $100.00 toward my bill that was due on 10/22/2020. On 10/28/2020 Cricket stated they refunded the $10.00 to my account which my bank account only shows a reversal of $0.00. My phone lines were disconnected without notice during a hurricane. I was left with no service for hours until I called the automated phone line and activated bridge pay. I did not have to make any payment to activate bridge pay.
I purchased a Samsung Gaxaly A51 5G from my local Cricket store in Hutchinson, KS.I know I don’t live in the 5G service area, however, I went to the Wichita KS area which is showing to be a 5G low band area on the coverage map. While I was in the area, my service Icon never changed off of LTE, I was expecting maybe to see a 5GE or even 5G.So my question is do I need a sim card, or a different APN setting other than what was on the phone when it was pulled out of the box.

This is my Positive Review for Katie B at 3686 Airport Blvd, Mobile 36608 I've been dealing with Ms. Katie since the middle of Covin 'crisis' when my original cricket store closed, the one nearest to me. I found Katie B's store and walked in with an attitude. She managed to calm me down and ever since, I've had a very copacetic relationship with her. She has been SO EASY to work with. VERY pleasant, VERY professional, and VERY kind! As much as I hate to pay bills, she's managed to help me every time and I think one day, she'll be selling me a smart phone and help me to use it! **One time, I left my phone there and It was there the next day I picked it up.. Adding more hotspot data
I’m needing to get more hotspot data for my upcoming bill cycle that starts the 12th, and that I have ALREADY paid for. When I go in and go the the change plan features screen, it says I’ll pay another $60 for the plan, plus ANOTHER $60 for the data. Is this correct or is something wrong with my account?
HOTSPOT Stopped Working
Own a LG G^+ Unlocked on the Mobile Unlimited Family plan.My hotspot has been working fine until a month of so ago, Right now I can activate the hotspot and connect the other device and I always get the Message No Internet Connection or WIFI has no internet access. Have tried with several other devices already.Wondering what has changed since my Hotspot was working without issues. Thanks!
Mobile Hotspot BYOD phone
I had an unlocked Galaxy S7 from MetroPCS (former employer) on my CW account and I was using mobile Hotspot with no issues. So much so that I had to change my plan. No problem. A couple of days ago I upgraded to an unlocked T-Mobile Galaxy S9+. Mobile Hotspot connects to my devices but it's not getting data from my phone's data connection. I've tried several APN variations even copying the exact APN settings from my S7. No luck. Please help. I'm a truck driver and I need my hotspot!
Can't receive or dial out and cricket wants full payment for bill on the 15th of every month
I have 4 lines and none of us can dial out or receive calls, my father is diabetic. He could get sick and die. He can't dial out for help and I can't reach him. Cricket won't help. I am going to seek legal assistance for failing to provide services but still bill me 100% for services I do not have and cannot utilize. This is a effing scam. I'm switching asap. The phones are trash. I keep all of my phones in cases and they all burned out and never turned back on after 3 months and had to purchase new phones at full price all over again. This company needs to file bankruptcy and stop false advertising their services.
Moto g7 software version
I have 2 cricket software update apps running on my phone. Both have different version numbers, both have different permissions, and one says device management after I get to the advanced settings. Which is supposed to be there? One is version 28.00.006 and the other is version 9.00.02
Wifi Calling and Text Messages...what that means
Cricket website says: "You can communicate through calls and text messages over a Wi-Fi network using Wi-Fi Calling. You'll need a Wi-Fi Calling capable device and an active Wi-Fi network. If cellular coverage is weak or unavailable your device will route calls and texts via Wi-Fi. For example, when in poor coverage areas or when your device is in airplane mode with Wi-Fi enabled."Please someone who has experience with this wifi calling tell me what this means. Is it just text messages or video/picture messages? Is it both?It just seems hit or miss on sending messages with pictures or even gifs. Sometimes they send fine, and other times, they are 'undeliverable'. We live in an area of poor Cricket coverage. So wifi calling is valuable to us. I have had Cricket support tell me directly that we cannot text over Wifi Calling. I then proceeded to show them what their website says, and they say...please hold, we will look into it.Text me
Still no answer on hd calling
So cricket says wifi calling and volte not possible on byop Android but yet if i provision both on my cricket stylo 5 and sim swap both options work on any device I've tried currently a note 10 f model dual sim. My volte and wifi calling both work for about 6 hours until cricket reprovisions my account and messes everything up.
questionable store relocation
Our local store just relocated to a strip mall that is not visible/in an area I would not have sent my mother alone to open her Cricket account. I also went during store hours and the lights were off and lock on the door. I am already a customer so brought my mom over online, but where can I give Cricket feedback about this new store?
Is it possible to purchase a cricket device without a plan? The phone that I want to purchase will be provided with a cricket plan ..it will be a gift . The person I am buying the phone for already has cricket. My question is can I purchase a phone without a plan .. and then active the phone to his plan and deal he has ? I don't need a new phone line or deal. I just want to purchase a new upgraded phone for his birthday.
No coverage refund?
I live in a rural area, and I have checked the coverage map for my exact home location. It shows that I should be able to get 3G and LTE coverage. However, I've had issues with other providers (also showing I can get decent coverage), and I get no bars at all.I am wondering; IF my I buy service and my phone does not work at my house... will I be able to get a refund for the plan and sim card fees?
