Welcome, do not try to make things right with customer service via live nor email. I never received rewards last year and now told via email because live agent did not understand me, that refer a friend does not exist and not to contact them about it. I am a liar I suppose. I got screwed out of $$ twice now, refer a friend incident is too long to type but beware. Is that a question?
WE ARE BEYOND FRUSTRATED!! Two weeks ago, our Wi-Fi calling just shut off. We had been with ATT for 24 years - always had Wi-Fi calling when it became available. We switched to Cricket. We had it for a few weeks and it just switched off. When we go to enable Wi-Fi calling, we receive an error. It say: “ACCESS DENIED - You don’t have permission to access http://www.cricketwireless.com/v1/wificalling/subtoken/ on the server. Reference# 18.4505e8ac.1613195266.29835f5”We have spoke to 4 reps on 611 over the issue. We went through the trouble shooting playbook every single time! Take out Sim Card, put sim card back in. Clear out Network settings. Restart Phone. Put phone in airplane mode - get data off of your Wi-Fi. Turn Wi-Fi off - get data of of phone. Update iPhone to 14.4 software, ect… TOTAL INSANITY to have to go through FOUR times. One rep gave us the customer service number to Apple. The tech said the key to our problem is in the error message - cricketwireless denied you access no
I've been a happy cricket customer for a few years now. Job changes made mobile hotspot increasingly attractive/important. Using this list of eligible phones (https://www.cricketwireless.com/support/mobile-wifi/hotspot-eligible-phones.html#), I went out and purchased a Galaxy S10. I then upgraded my phone plan to include hot spot. But it wouldn't work. After a few hours of frustrating conversations with customer support, I was informed that BYOD (bring your own device) Android phones are not eligible for hotspot. The list says they are. I was told the only solution was to switch to an Apple phone or buy an S10 straight from Cricket. I can find no place on Cricket's website that provides this critical piece of information. If this is in fact the case (please verify, I'm not confident in the customer service rep's answer), Cricket, can you please make this apparent - I and others relied on that information to make large purchasing
I’m also a victim of this port out scam. My phone # was disconnected and ported out without my knowledge on September 13th. I have been calling Cricket everyday for over a month now and am getting nowhere. The customer service reps are rude and uncaring. I was without service for six days without knowing it and all they were willing to do is give me a new phone #, but I had to pay for a new SIM card and activation fees (I had to go to the Cricket store every day to call customer service until they gave me a temporary #). This is totally unacceptable. They don’t seem to be taking this situation seriously. It’s all about the money. I just want MY phone # back, the one that I’ve had for thirty years and brought with me when I signed up with Cricket. Fortunately the other #’s on my account weren’t affected which is good, but I’m the account holder and the one that pays the bill. Where’s the service that I’m paying for? They opened a ticket and I was told this was a priority. They kept sayi
Hello!Help me please if u can! I want to start a field work business. High-quality software significantly increases business efficiency. The main criteria are convenience, a wide range of tools, and price.I know that many pest control companies fieldworkhqI basically stopped at it, tell me if you know something else about it. Or maybe if you used it.Thanks in any case!
LTE data is very slow for me recently. I don’t know what’s wrong. Most of time download is less than 1 Mbps. Before pandemic, I remember it usually was about 6 to 7 Mbps. I tested using another virtual carrier, which also use AT&T networks, with the same phone same location almost same time, it has more than 10 Mbps. Please help. Thanks.
Greetings. In this day-and-age of constant scam calls, does Cricket offer any way to block all calls except for those pre-authorized? Or is there an app that you recommend for doing this?I'm getting tired of blocking specific numbers just to have them call using a different number. If I could auth only certain numbers (say from my contact list) to come through that would be great. Thank you.
I did a factory reset on my Oneplus 6, put in my wife's simm and set it up. Everything works fine except she can't receive texts from our son who is on the same account. She can send him texts. I've checked for blocking and deleted the contact. She can receive group texts from him. Tried clearing the storage an cache under apps. No clue what else to try.
Can I ask, why is there no perks to being long-time customers. I have been a customer for over 5-years now. I have been with other companies who have offered great rewards for staying with a company for a certain amount of time. Cricket has ZERO incentives to remain a Cricket customer. If I was not on a joint plan with my Family, I would have left long ago. You get no discounts, no nothing for all the money I have dished out over the years to support your Company. I think it is a disgrace that people who have been customers for so long have to get the same sales and coupons as people off the street, and that people with other companies that want to swtich get treated like royalty while the existing long-term customers are forgotten. It is really sad. I cant even get my phone replaced because I'll have to pay full price for a new one. That makes no sense, that I, as a customer for over 5 years, can't even get a new phone without paying full price like everyone else.
I just did the math. The LG fortune 4 would be $0 for new customers. It would be $99 for me, a reliable and returning longtime customer. It is originally $139. A $39 savings for a loyal customer is horrible. But then you add the $25 upgrade fee id have to pay. That makes for a grand total of $14 in savings for me. So to review, a new customer saves $139 and I save $14. The question is why is there no actual savings for existing customers? And please don't give me the referral crap. No one knows enough people to sustain a steady savings with that program.
The new format that you have out on the cricket phones are awful. Not only has it changed the way I call and text, it also changes the way I am allowed to look up items even the back and return buttons have changed. My whole family hates it. It's a terrible inconvenience. Shame in you cricket
Hi, i have subscribed to the 2gb data plan on my mobile ( i phone 6) . However , the internet is very slow . It takes a very long time to load pictures, videos and to open a webpage ,although i am using LTE , which should load data faster. Can you please look into the matter? Thanks.
I recently switched to Cricket from Straight Talk because Cricket offered MUCH better coverage in my area than Straight Talk. I am very satisfied with the switch in that I can now browse the web on my phone without having to sit in my car in the driveway. However, I am having an issue with the hotspot. Despite Straight Talk's inferior coverage out here, I was still able to put my phone on to charge in my car and run my mobile hotspot to play online games. Now you would think that since Cricket has better coverage their hotspot would perform better, right? WRONG. My laptop will connect but it runs so slow that it is essentially useless. What gives, Cricket? Why is my connection so strong on my cell phone but your mobile hotspot is absolute garbage? And yes, I tried USB tethering and it was even slower. This is unacceptable. Straight Talk's hotspot is included in their $55 plan for free and works dramatically better than the one you guys charge $10/month for. Get it togeth
Starting a few days ago the hotspot service that many of us pay EXTRA to have has been badly messing up. I noticed all of a sudden none of my Smart TV's would work, then I realized that my Hotspot speed was locked at 128kb... I thought it was a system goof and would reset when my service cycle started so I waited a few days until they charged me a new month. Now... I'm about to call my credit card and dispute the charges! The techs at Cricket have clearly messed something up and put hotspot accounts on restriction, even perfectly legit ones it seems! (Whatever QoS system you've activated is messing up BAD!) A quick google search shows I'm not alone, and Cricket support is claiming everything from "tower maintenance" to "dual apn support" and everything thing else, which all ignores the fact that we are people who have had no issues with hotspot UNTIL whatever change was made happened a few days back. At this point I see no reason to stay with Cricket and I post this as
I switched to Cricket in April 2020 BYOD phone and 2 other Cricket phones. All lines had the Cricket more plan to include the 15GB hotspot. I called into customer service in October to add an additional 15GB hotspot to my line just to be told my phone wasn't compatible. WERID considering I've been using hotspot for MONTHS. It been compatible enough for you to charge me for it. The best part is I wasn't told my phone wasn't compatible until after my payment was received. Then told I couldn't receive a refund, so I sent a complaint to the BBB. Someone from Corporate a month later refunded me my 10.00 only to then suspend my phone lines and request I pay 42.00 to restore service....WOW! If your not going to allow BYOD phones to have access to all your features QUIT ADVERTISING BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE. No where on the compatible device page does it mention it must be a CRICKET bought device. It only mentions that some carrier unlocked phones may not function properly. Well this phone w
For almost a year now I have been asking cricket for help. My phone does not receive calls. Its not the device because I have switched phones and still get the issue. Its not the signal because my wife gets her calls. It even happens when I am traveling out of state over 500 miles from my "normal" area. My wife and I will be in the same room and she will try to call to see if it will work and still nothing. The phone doesnt even register a missed call. All cricket has done for me is say turn your phone off we will send a signal your account is in good standing. What else can I do???
The list of issues I have with Cricket keep growing by the day. Cricket tells me that my BYOD phone is not compatible with the hotspot feature, yet every month since April 2020 I have used hotspot. I called on 10/08/2020 to add an extra 15GB hotspot to my line. The representative allowed me to pay $10.00 and then told me my phone isn't compatible, and the $10.00 would be a credit on my account. I then had to place a complaint with the BBB and after a month someone from corporate refunded the $10.00, however, in doing so they caused my account to be suspended. I used the $10.00 and only paid $100.00 toward my bill that was due on 10/22/2020. On 10/28/2020 Cricket stated they refunded the $10.00 to my account which my bank account only shows a reversal of $0.00. My phone lines were disconnected without notice during a hurricane. I was left with no service for hours until I called the automated phone line and activated bridge pay. I did not have to make any payment to activate bridge pay.
I purchased a Samsung Gaxaly A51 5G from my local Cricket store in Hutchinson, KS.I know I don’t live in the 5G service area, however, I went to the Wichita KS area which is showing to be a 5G low band area on the coverage map. While I was in the area, my service Icon never changed off of LTE, I was expecting maybe to see a 5GE or even 5G.So my question is do I need a sim card, or a different APN setting other than what was on the phone when it was pulled out of the box.
