I will be leaving for Army Basic Training in the next month and am wondering if Cricket Wireless offers an option to halt payments for the duration of my training period. Basic Training is 10 weeks long (12 with processing) and I will not be able to access my phone during so. I do not wish to cancel my plan, but do not want to continue to pay for wireless service I will not use. Thankyou for any responses in advance.
Will cricket core plan work with an unlocked and compatible 4G router? I want to temporarily use the mobile data included in the plan. My phone’s broken and I can’t replace it as of this time. But I badly need to use mobile data / hotspot to connect to family and friends using my laptop. Anyone knowledgeable on this? I don’t want to upgrade to the Simply data plan that’s $55/month.It’s too expensive.
Would the bring your own phone plan work with veiaro wireless phones. ive tried straight talk and net ten and neither will work do to the lack of at&t and t-mobile towers in the area. Veiaro works with both of those towers and dont want to continue with veiaro and dont want to change my phone just yet.
I can call out but nobody can call me. Inbound calls immediately get a message saying my voicemail has not been setup, and my phone never rings. I get no mobile data connection at all. I have used online support topics, verified my IMEI is compatible, spoken to a dozen phone support people at Cricket, reset Network Connections and verified correct APN settings, been to Sprint and called Sprint to verify my device was properly unlocked. Nobody can tell me why my Cricket service does not work. I paid for service I cannot use. This is beyond frustrating and I am very annoyed with the lack of solutions to what shouldnt even be an issue.
Good reps at cricket are hard to find. Here is my 2 day experience (Wasted time about 6 hours total, 4-6 terrible service people, and 2 GREAT service people. 1. Website features are terrible, so self service is virtually impossible (you need a new program team, as others are complaining as well). 2. I call cricket customer care, and get put on hold for 20 minutes, I get a person with a strong accent, making it impossible to communicate. She transfers me and the call drops. 3. After two more failed attempts , I get a service rep that tells me I have to go to the store where I purchased the phone to get help. 4. I drive all the way down to the store, and the store rep tells me he can not help I have to go back home and call cricket . 5. I call cricket customer care .. I again get connected. Woman named Alexandria answer the phone and claims she can not hear me?? I try and speak for 5 minutes.. and she then says - I am hanging up the phone due to inability t
RCS messaging has become the default messaging platform for Android phones. Last month mine and my wife's phone (both Moto G7+) briefly had RCS messaging for two full days before it stopped working. At first trying to access this function via the settings gave me an error "your carrier does not currently support this function." The next day it worked again, then again stopped working. This time the warning changed to "your device does not currently support this function." The second warning I know is untrue as it worked just fine the day before. The only answer has to be cricket is actively blocking this function. I don't know why. Maybe it's a stall until they find a way to monetize it or maybe they're doing it to force people to buy one of the few phones they allow it on. Doesn't matter to me, I just want it to work.Barring that, I want an explanation why cricket is blocking it.
I am a Cricket Wireless customer. I've been having trouble with texts from my Google Voice number being blocked when sent to Cricket Wireless (I don't use my "real" Cricket Wireless number, do everything via my Google Voice number) and AT&T numbers. I've done some digging on the web and the problem seems to stem from Cricket Wireless and it's parent company AT&T somehow flagging my Google Voice number as spam. My Google Voice number is strictly for personal use and I send maybe 5 or 6 texts a day so don't know how it would have been flagged. I found this thread on the Google Forums and apparently the fix needs to come from Cricket/AT&T engineers https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!msg/voice/GR-dsPvZQJE/UccFgy5GDgAJ
On Oct 14 I paid my bill in store $139 . On Oct 15 I added a line and changed my plan to the 4 lines for 100. I paid another 45 to start thithis plan etc. On Oct 16 I called because I got to thinking i should have a $39 credit at least. I was told no $18.99 was my credit, initially. Then the rep "researched my account" I was told I was being charged $20 for hotspot on two lines. He could remove that and credit the $20 back. I told him yes because I didn't even know I had hotspot and do not need it as I have wifi at home. He removed and said my bill for Nov would be $60 and some change. I looked today to pay my bill and it still only showed 18.99 credit. I called customer service. I was put on hold then hung up on. I called back and once sent to a rep I was automatically hung up on. I called back two more times and on the fourth try I spoke with someone who informed me I was pretty much out of luck they don't refund hotspot. (Had I been told this initially that would have been fine) I c
I purchased a phone Samsung s9+. Is working perfectly. The hotspot is working, yet the cricket is not allowing me to purchase that monthly fee for hotspot, the rules states you must choose the right phone to work with that hotspot feature. My phone us working. Yet I'm not allowed to use it, I want to pay the hotspot, so I can use my iPad since my vision is not that great, the cricket is telling me the phone does not qualify. I am a with cricket for past 8 years. I don't understand why can't I just pay the fee for hotspot and let me use it????????
Hello!Help me please if u can! I want to start a field work business. Or maybe if you used it.Thanks in any case!
Cricket is the worst advertiser of promotions when it comes to wwe I have ever seen. Their marketing stinks. Last year they had bayley out by me for a store signing. Free. Totally walk in meet her take photo and she signs. They don’t promote it. Wwe doesn’t promote it. If I didn’t hear about it because I was working the event at the venue for the wwe show thAt night I’d not have been able to meet her let alone know about it. That. Is. Pathetic. So now it’s a year and change later. They have a virtual meet and greet online to sign up to meet ironically bayley. They post it the day before the event. It was sold out within one hour of advertising. That is also pathetic. They didn’t plan for the amount of people wanting to meet her...or else there are people booking multiple names for more time to talk to her. And I KNOW that is the case. Two friends independent of each other have showed me the screenshots of their multiple setups with Different names and numbers. All the virtual stuff is
I have a niece who has struggled financially and I would like to pay for her and her 3 kids phone and service for a year. They currently have ATT which just got shut off do to lack of payment. My question is what would be best. Keep my phone as a single line and open a new account in her name with 3 phones or add her 3 phones to my account? Any suggestions Todd O
I got a 973f s10. Either way. I can put my sim in my style 5 provision my wifi calling and my hd calling but crickets system does something a few hours later after I swap my sim back to my s10. But in the mean time my wifi calling and hd calling work awesome till the system reprovision happens. So is cricket telling me my s10 is not hd compatible and my phone wont work when they shut down the 3g network. Well cricket dont you think you should figure out how to properly provision byop since I can make it work I'm sure you can. I did on my s9 by sim swap method. Provision swap back enable. And call cricket and lie and say the system showed I was on my s9 but like and tell them I'm actually on my style 5. And give them the imei. HD and wifi calling worked awesome for over a year.
