The list of issues I have with Cricket keep growing by the day. Cricket tells me that my BYOD phone is not compatible with the hotspot feature, yet every month since April 2020 I have used hotspot. I called on 10/08/2020 to add an extra 15GB hotspot to my line. The representative allowed me to pay $10.00 and then told me my phone isn't compatible, and the $10.00 would be a credit on my account. I then had to place a complaint with the BBB and after a month someone from corporate refunded the $10.00, however, in doing so they caused my account to be suspended. I used the $10.00 and only paid $100.00 toward my bill that was due on 10/22/2020. On 10/28/2020 Cricket stated they refunded the $10.00 to my account which my bank account only shows a reversal of $0.00. My phone lines were disconnected without notice during a hurricane. I was left with no service for hours until I called the automated phone line and activated bridge pay. I did not have to make any payment to activate bridge pay.
I toggle wifi calling on, accept the terms, enter my address, and hit verify. The verify button spins, and then absolutely nothing happens. After that, I can’t edit the address, I can’t hit Verify again, I can only cancel and start all over. I’ve confirmed the address matches USPS exactly, and have no idea what is wrong, or why I’m getting stuck on the verify screen. Any ideas?
In my account summary page online and in app shows that I have one add-on feature to one of my lines in my family plan and on the second line it says that there are two add-on features. I currently have no add-on features nor have I ever had additional features. To clarify my question, I have contacted cricket customer service and they were dismissive and gave useless suggestions but I am not being billed for these mysterious add-ons. Thank god I just want to know why it even indicates that they are there. This is not a unimportant or stupid question, this is a valid inquiry and could indicate more serious glitches involving money at some point. Though crickets outsourced customer service agents from you know where don't seem to give a you know what about you know who! I think you do.
I have tried ordering from cricket 4 times, and each time my order eventually gets canceled, because they can't get my number from straight talk.I have sent them the Straight Talk code to port out, I have given them my straight talk account number, my ST account pin, My cricket order number, my zip code, And they will always say everything's fine, or that the problem is on straight talks end. but whenever I talk to Straight Talk, they say everything's fine and the problem is on cricket. I am just so frustrated I just want my new phone and my number.( I have spoken to 6 cricket representatives over chat, and I have spoken to 6 Straight Talk customer representatives over chat, I've even talked to Straight Talk over the phone once.) so this is ridiculous. I even bought a phone and service for my daughter just so I could create a cricket account thinking that might help. I have been a loyal costumer for 20 plus years and when we got our new phones I agreed for the insurance the protect plus. So my question is why isn't on my account. It's been well over the 7 day rule which I find to be stupid considering it's always been able to be added after the fact and now it's not. Why do the costumers who have been with this place for 20 years not get to add insurance when 1- clearly it's been on all of my other phones, 2- I was told it would be switched on to our new phones and 3- I've been with you for over 20 YEARS!!!! I get ppl do scams when they break their stuff and will do whatever to get a new phone for free but maybe yall should document on those accounts and deny them if it happens again so those of us who have not done anything wrong can add new add -ons at anytime
I have 4 lines and none of us can dial out or receive calls, my father is diabetic. He could get sick and die. He can't dial out for help and I can't reach him. Cricket won't help. I am going to seek legal assistance for failing to provide services but still bill me 100% for services I do not have and cannot utilize. This is a effing scam. I'm switching asap. The phones are trash. I keep all of my phones in cases and they all burned out and never turned back on after 3 months and had to purchase new phones at full price all over again. This company needs to file bankruptcy and stop false advertising their services.
My gf is accusing me of being on the phone when she calls because the phone sometimes rings differently. She claims it has a long double first ring. Whatever that means. I googled it and told her it's just Cricket trying to find a tower to connect to but she doesn't believe me because Verizon does the double ring according to her. Is it true that there is a different ring callers hear if I'm on a call already? Is this a feature something I can change?
I have a Samsung Galaxy Halo and since the pandemic broke into our lives your company added 15GB data and mobile hotspot to our lines. Thank you! Today, 8/13/2020, the hotspot was turned off. I liked it so much I decided to upgrade my plan to Unlimited and More which includes 15 GB mobile hotspot. After upgrading I noticed the hotspot still doesn't work. It worked before?? Your list of hotspot eligible devices doesn't list my device. Guess I don't understand why it would work before but not now.
WE have in home wireless so we don't need hot spot but we want to tether our teens phone to our home computer so we can keep her safe she has a Samsung galaxy Sol 2 how do we do this, the rep I spoke with at a cricket store said this could happen!!!
I currently have a Google device that is rolling out universal RCS support but do to cricket not having the pixel family in it's supported devices it's causing issues with my device. That being said are there plans to implement the pixel series into support devices or am I going to have to switch to another service? Coming from a Cricket Employee here.
I just did the math. The LG fortune 4 would be $0 for new customers. It would be $99 for me, a reliable and returning longtime customer. It is originally $139. A $39 savings for a loyal customer is horrible. But then you add the $25 upgrade fee id have to pay. That makes for a grand total of $14 in savings for me. So to review, a new customer saves $139 and I save $14. The question is why is there no actual savings for existing customers? And please don't give me the referral crap. No one knows enough people to sustain a steady savings with that program.
On the cricket app, I received a message stating I passed my 22 gb for the month and could be slowed down when tower is congested. Does this mean we get 22 gigs priority data ? , Then get deprioratized ? I was under the impression that we were deprioratized from the start!
I've just noticed this in the past couple of days, but I am no longer able to log in to wifi outside of my home. Usually when I am out, I can connect to free wifi by tapping on the connection and then sometimes it will take me to the Log-In page of that company where I can fully connect to it. Otherwise, I don't have full access to the internet. I noticed that before it was the Cricket Wi-Fi Manager that would bring up the log in screen but it is no longer doing that. I noticed that its not an issue with the company/business, so it has to be some error on my end. Does anybody have any advice on this? I don't want to keep using my mobile data when I can't connect to the wifi.
The phone service from this company isH O R R I B L E !!!im literally STUCK here because of paying my bill here but good God y’all need to do better !!!! Plenty of time cricket have let me down in an EMERGENCY!!!! Can’t call or text for help !! No service !!! Always 1 BAR !!! Atrocious !!!! I hate it here!!!
Would the bring your own phone plan work with veiaro wireless phones. ive tried straight talk and net ten and neither will work do to the lack of at&t and t-mobile towers in the area. Veiaro works with both of those towers and dont want to continue with veiaro and dont want to change my phone just yet.
