I've had cricket unlimited data/talk/text plan on the same LG phone and same SIM card for the past two years. Plan is always paid each month on autopay & never late.I ordered a brand new Samsung Galaxy S10+ 128gb factory unlocked phone directly from Samsung. Waited a few days before I put my old SIM card into the S10+ phone. Cricket has locked it.Of course now that it has already happened to me, I'm discovering it is something that happens to Cricket customers frequently. I could have avoided it, had I known. It never occurred to me they were capable of doing it remotely. Also AIO (cricket wireless) wrote over my OTA software update capabilities with some AIO constipated version. I now am no longer able to receive those ota android security updates directly like I did the first two days I had the phone.
Ok this is BS we went to the store and talked to the sales people we were at&t for many years. We heard avout the deals that were less money and owned by at&t. We expressed the only reason we were with at&t was we got coverage where we kive and travel but your offer was less money. They said no problem the coverage is exactly the same sense they are owned by at&t. This was bull. Our phone will not switch mobile networks and service areas are not the same. I said I want to switch back to at&t and need the phones unlocked now they tell me I have to be with them for 6 months before they will unlock the phone. That was never discussed when we purchased and they were told up frount if they do not work we were not staying. False sales and very rude customer service when I called. They just said I need to go to the store and they will explain. In lock our phones so we can move on sense you can not provide what you said the service would provide.
Upgraded to a Pixel 3A running Android Q 6/5 build. Visual Voicemail indicates that I have 1 new message, but (also) says "You must have Cricket Wireless service to use Cricket Visual Voicemail" and closes after clicking "OK".Multiple Uninstalling, and re-installing does nothing to resolve the issue (and, yes, I did grant the all the requested permissions).Long time Cricket customer, and no problems with Visual Voicemail with Android Oreo. (I think I successfully used the app when I was on Android Pie, but not 100% certain)
TLDR: Wifi calling won't activate, basic troubleshooting done, Cricket support useless. Please help!(I know this is a duplicate post, but Cricket at it's finest wouldn't let me post it initially where it belonged without having something in the welcome board...ugh)Hello, reaching out here as I'm at wit's end with Cricket and this Wi-Fi calling issue. Background, initially signed up for Cricket with an unlocked S6 about 4 years ago. By rule that phone couldn't get wifi calling because it wasn't Cricket branded. Fair enough. June 5, I upgraded my phone to a Cricket branded S10. Tried to set up wifi calling and can only get a green and blue loading circle for about five minutes, then "please try to set up wifi calling again later" is what pops up next. My device has had several updates, and each time it is always the same. I've tried in no less than 4 different places with a strong wifi signal but to no avail. Cricket "support" operators have either blamed the wifi providers, told me to c
To whom it may concern. I have spent countless hours trying to understand why I cannot add hotspot on my Nokia 7.1. I have recently seen the answer on this forum from a cricket employee stating " the phone must have two apn's in order for usage to be tracked" okay I think well at least that's an answer. I would of appreciated that response with one of my multiple calls to cricket. However out of curiosity I go into my settings and low and behold my phone has two apn's. Please give the people what they want. Your selection of phones doesn't offer ANY of the popular mid-range devices ie: Moto g7, pixel 3a , Nokia 7.1 to mention a few. I do commend you for having the Nokia 3.1 and the g7 variant Supra I think it is but not the same. I have been a 4 line customer for almost 5 years. I have never received a discount on a phone mainly because I have never liked your offering. I've spent almost 7k with cricket is there anything that can be done that would allow me to pay for a service that I
I'm disappointed that Cricket only allows a MAXIMUM of 10 people to send a group text to. I know other carriers are not limited like this. I have at times the need to send out a group text to 18 people. This 10 person limit is just an arbitrary limit set by Cricket. If other carriers aren't limited I'm sure technically Cricket could expand the number of recipients. This is just my feedback. I'm sure there are other people that would appreciate this 10 person cap being expanded.
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY EVERYTIME I TRY TO USE CHAT, MY ANSWER FROM CRICKET IS ALWAYS "I AM NEW", "I DO NOT UNDERSTAND YOUR QUESTION". I EXPLAIN IT TO THE CUSTOMER REP IN TERMS A CHILD IN KINDERGARTEN COULD UNDERSTAND!! NONE OF MY QUESTIONS ARE ROCKET SCIENCE! 10 TRIES AND 10 FAILURES. THEN THEY HAVE THE GONADS TO HANG UP ON ME!! CRICKETS IDEA OF CHAT SUPPORT IS A COMPLETE AND UTTER FAILURE. BUT, THEY SURE UNDERSTAND THE MONEY!!!
So lately my phone is asking me to dial the number to check my VM when in fact I am suing Visual VM and have already check the message. I am getting a notification to check it which will not go away. I have never set up the other VM and I don't want to because I feel it will only invite conflicts and when I had it before on another phone it didn't work right anyway, From what I can see there is no actually app feature or changeable settings for the regular built in VM.
why is Cricket wireless data so slow now? It takes so long to load a page now. I'm in San Francisco.

Hello again,I was looking through my phones hidden/secret menus and saw that wifi calling was provisioned via a toggle switch and VoLTE was also provisioned this same way, but I noticed that video calling was greyed out and that even though there was a toggle switch for it like the other two features, there was no way I could turn it or toggle it on.Is this a feature that Cricket offers? If so, could you please provision it and toggle it on?I'm using a Moto G7 Supra purchased from Cricket. My wife's phone is a Moto G6 Play and she has a video calling icon that apparently lets her choose to make video call if she wants. She doesn't have Cricket service but the phone was originally a Cricket phone as the box that it came in was branded as Cricket even though it was an unlocked phone at the time she purchased it.I was hoping that I could get that option to make video calls as well.Thanks...
