I live in an area where my cell coverage is little to none in my house. I purchased 2 Moto e5 Supra phones and got wifi calling enabled on my account and setup e911. After trying to get it to work for 3 days and over 5 hours of calls with support it still didn't work. I brought the phones into a Cricket owned store and they tried for over 3 hours and finally got it to work. It magically started working on both phones. The thought was if you disable wifi calling shut the phone down then start it back up and then enable wifi calling. BUT that still isn't working now. There must be a software problem with this phone and it is REALLY frustrating. Cricket phone support is quite incompetent, they tried telling me to contact Motorolla but the manufacturer said this particular feature is a software feature installed by Cricket and not by the manufacturer. It is the typical hot potato pass the buck. Now I'm past the 7 day return window.
Upgraded to a Pixel 3A running Android Q 6/5 build. Visual Voicemail indicates that I have 1 new message, but (also) says "You must have Cricket Wireless service to use Cricket Visual Voicemail" and closes after clicking "OK".Multiple Uninstalling, and re-installing does nothing to resolve the issue (and, yes, I did grant the all the requested permissions).Long time Cricket customer, and no problems with Visual Voicemail with Android Oreo. (I think I successfully used the app when I was on Android Pie, but not 100% certain)
To whom it may concern. I have spent countless hours trying to understand why I cannot add hotspot on my Nokia 7.1. I have recently seen the answer on this forum from a cricket employee stating " the phone must have two apn's in order for usage to be tracked" okay I think well at least that's an answer. I would of appreciated that response with one of my multiple calls to cricket. However out of curiosity I go into my settings and low and behold my phone has two apn's. Please give the people what they want. Your selection of phones doesn't offer ANY of the popular mid-range devices ie: Moto g7, pixel 3a , Nokia 7.1 to mention a few. I do commend you for having the Nokia 3.1 and the g7 variant Supra I think it is but not the same. I have been a 4 line customer for almost 5 years. I have never received a discount on a phone mainly because I have never liked your offering. I've spent almost 7k with cricket is there anything that can be done that would allow me to pay for a service that I
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY EVERYTIME I TRY TO USE CHAT, MY ANSWER FROM CRICKET IS ALWAYS "I AM NEW", "I DO NOT UNDERSTAND YOUR QUESTION". I EXPLAIN IT TO THE CUSTOMER REP IN TERMS A CHILD IN KINDERGARTEN COULD UNDERSTAND!! NONE OF MY QUESTIONS ARE ROCKET SCIENCE! 10 TRIES AND 10 FAILURES. THEN THEY HAVE THE GONADS TO HANG UP ON ME!! CRICKETS IDEA OF CHAT SUPPORT IS A COMPLETE AND UTTER FAILURE. BUT, THEY SURE UNDERSTAND THE MONEY!!!
So lately my phone is asking me to dial the number to check my VM when in fact I am suing Visual VM and have already check the message. I am getting a notification to check it which will not go away. I have never set up the other VM and I don't want to because I feel it will only invite conflicts and when I had it before on another phone it didn't work right anyway, From what I can see there is no actually app feature or changeable settings for the regular built in VM.
For some reason wifi Manager switched my wifi off on my phone while I was using it. I then turned it's permission to do that off but now it is just asking me for permission to turn my wifi off. It specifically popped up and said, "Wifi Managaer wants to turn your wifi off" what is the deal with that?
